Touka's POV~

"Shh, Kaneki-kun..." I wiped his tears away with my thumb. "Get some rest. Tomorrow is another day..."

"But what if she still mad.. she'll still most likely will be..." He covered his face in shame.

"I'll try talking to her. I'll make sure she tries to understand.." I ruffled his hair and walked over to the front door. "Goodnight Kaneki-kun" I said before leaving his room.

Le Next Day

~Reader-chan's POV~

"C,mon Hide! Imma be late for work!" I yelled at the bathroom door, with my arms crossed. He suddenly opened the door.

"Calm downnn, Lets go" I walked out of the house with Hide following

We walked over there, since it is close to my house. We had a short chat while walking.

We arrived at Anteiku. We went in, everyone greeted us. I went straight to work, meanwhile Hide surprised Kaneki with a hug attack, I smiled sadly then looked away, and started preparing coffee.

"Is there something wrong
(Y/N)?"

"No,.. Its nothing Miss Irimi, I'm fine" I looked at her and gave her a bright smile

"Are you sure?" I nodded. She shrugged a bit, then turned her attention to the food she was making

I was outside with Hinami singing some nursery rhymes. To be honest I forgot the lyrics to most of them. But Hinami was happy to re-teach them to me. 

A few minutes went by as she was called in the café by Miss Irimi. I was all alone..

~Kaneki's POV~

"Ah.. Long time no see Kaneki!" (idk if he calls him Kaneki kun so ill stick with that..) Hide said as he sat across from me. A gave him a small smile.

"How are you Hide?" He smiled brightly back.

"I'm great. I'm really happy to see you again, Kaneki"

"Same to you Hide. Um... How are you? I haven't heard from you in a while"

"I've been good! My vacation was amazing!" He started talking about where he went and what he did.

I tried so hard to focus on what he was saying, but I couldn't. From the corner of my eye, I saw both (Y/N) and Touka were outside probably arguing. Hearing mumbled talking in one ear and screams in the other... You know.. Just my guessing.

Ever since my break-up with (Y/N), I've been thinking a lot. Thinking about...Well, what I should've done in the past.. If I did the right thing, we wouldn't be in this mess.. Everything is my fault.

All I want.. Is for her to come back to me. Yes, I know that I did something really wrong. But that was an accident..! I don't want to be with Touka.. I like her.. but only as a friend.. And I know she clearly has feelings for me, for who knows how long, but I only love her... And only her...

"HELLOOOO?? Kaneki?" Hide waved his hands in front of my face, snapping me out of my senses.

"O-oh.. Sorry, Hide.. I got a bit distracted."

"Is there something wrong?" I quickly shook my head.

"No, No. everything is alright"

~Reader-chan's POV~

"Why not! He obviously loves you. And he loves you a lot!" Touka yelled at my face.

"No! You go take his cheating ass! You guys are so perfect for each other" I rolled my eyes. She started to tear up.

"(Y/N)... he cares for you and misses you a lot. And he loves you.. And only you... He doesn't love me the way he loves you.. Please talk to him and work things out with him.. He's really desperate"

"Kiss my ass, traitor" I growled, "And if he really did care, he would've been here instead of you!"

"He's scared (Y/N).. He cried everyday since you left him. And-" I pushed past her,

"Shut up, I don't want to hear anymore of your lies" I went inside to finish work for the day.

Honestly, what do they think I am? Stupid? No, tell me straight in my face you liked him, you brat. I know you did that on purpose..

~~Time Skip to the end of the day~~

I went inside the house, still angry about that argument with Touka.

"Hey (Y/N)-" Richard's head peaked out of the kitchen,

"Shut up" I cut him off and went to my room.

"(Y/N)-" Mom suddenly started following me to my room,

"NO!" I yelled as I slammed the door and locking it. I had no mood to anyone. She really pissed me off with her lies.

So what if he cared about me. He doesn't want to talk to me face to face, like the man he really is. He wants to hide behind the person who he cheated on. Oh.. He must be having a good time with her..

I growled at my own thought. I went over to my bed and started punching and screaming in my pillow.

I stopped when my throat started hurting and my arms got tired. I laid there hugging the pillow and started crying silently.

I cant believe this.. After everything we went through.. Happy and sad.. And you decided to do this to me..
