~Reader-chan's POV~

I started to rip pieces of his flesh and started eating.

I kept eating, almost finish with half of his body. I made sure I ate enough for today, but I don't want to a lot.

I heard footsteps coming my direction. I looked up and saw a guy staring at me shocked. I growled and wiped my mouth and stood up. He took out a knife and backed away from me. I stared at him with a bored expression. Of course, if a lousy human sees a ghoul, the first thing they'll pull out a damn knife.

I walked up to him. He tried stabbing me but I dodged every move. While he was trying to stab me, I quickly snatched the knife and stabbed him with it. He fell to his knees

"That's what you get when you disturb a ghoul who's eating~" I chimed and kicked him in the face. He fell down and few of his teeth flew out his mouth. I giggled and went back to the half eaten corpse and kicked it to the side. I picked up my mask and my eyes went to my normal (e/c) color and let my kagune dissolve.

"(Y/n)? There you are!" I looked up and saw a violet-haired girl.

"Touka-chan~ what are you doing here?" she jumped down and landed on her feet.

"Kaneki. thought you were missing, so he wanted me to help him find you..." she said. I frowned.

"You didn't need to go through all that trouble..sorry for worrying you and Kaneki..." I said and started walking out of the alleyway, with Touka following beside me.

I sighed as we entered the lively streets of Tokyo. We walked on the path back to Anteiku.

"Can I ask you something Touka?" I strapped my gas mask around neck and let it hang there.

"Hm?"

"Is that Ayato guy your brother...?"  She looked away and stayed quiet. "Gomenasai. You don't need to answer if you don't want to" I said and we kept on walking.

I walked in the room and closed the door. Surprisingly I found no one there. I took off my mask and placed it on top of the nightstand. I went to the bathroom and washed my face.

When I was done. I jumped on the bed and hugged my pillow and sighed.

~Kaneki's POV~

"Kaneki, I found her, I took her back. She was out eating." I frowned and put my phone away.

Ugh, I was so worried for nothing then. Though I want to keep her safe. I don't want anything to happen to her..

I walked back to Anteiku, since was near it wouldn't take long to get there.  Thoughts racing through my mind.

Maybe I'm being a little overprotective over her. I just don't want her to get hurt like I did by him. Or nothing similar. She can be very stubborn at times and that could lead her to trouble. I sighed and put my hands on my pockets.

"(Y/n)?" She jumped when she her name.

"Aye, Kaneki don't scare me like that," she threw the pillow at me. I quickly caught it "When did you came in?"  She said sighing and sat up.

"Five to seven minutes ago.." I said

"And I didn't even hear you come in..." She mumbled. I chuckled and took a seat next to her. 

"Why were you staring of to space? You looked like you were thinking hard about something..." I said and tilted my head a bit. 

"Well...I was but I don't want to talk about it.." She held my hand and rested her head on my shoulder. I nodded softly and kissed the top of her head.
