15 minutes later... 3:00 pm

Kamala looks and Kamryn has unlatched, "I need the burp cloth please" Kamala snaps her tank top

Doug gives Kamala the burp cloth and she puts the burp cloth on her shoulder she puts Kamryn on her shoulder and she rubs her back and she burps a few minutes later she also spits up a little bit on the burp cloth.

Kamala- "that was a good burp Kamryn, let mommy wipe your face"

Kamala wipes her face with the other side of the burp cloth, and Kamryn is trying to nurse while Kamala is holding her. "Kamryn, let mommy unsnap the other side so you can get more milk"

Kamala unsnaps her left strap and lays Kamryn on her pillow and she latches on and starts nursing. "Honey what are we having for dinner"?

Kamala- "Spaghetti with garlic bread and antipasto salad, I was gonna make sweet and sour chicken, but I have a feeling that Kamryn will want to be held, and you can make spaghetti with out my help"

Doug- "yes I can do it with out your help but I like when we cook together"

Kamala- "I do too, when Kamryn's done with her milk, I will put on the baby carrier, and put her in it, that way I can help you and hold her at the same time"

15 minutes later... 3:15 pm

Kamala looks and she sees Kamryn has unlatched and she snaps her tank top puts the burp cloth on her shoulder and she puts Kamryn on her shoulder and she rubs her back and a few minutes later Kamryn burps and she spits up a little bit on the burp cloth. "Kamryn that was a good burp, let mommy wipe your face"

Doug- "okay, I will get the spaghetti started"

Kamala- "can you please bring me the baby carrier"

Doug- "of course"

Doug gets up from the couch, and he gets Kamala the baby carrier and brings it to her "here honey, give me Kamryn while you put on the carrier"

Kamala gives Kamryn to Doug to hold while she puts on the carrier.

Kamala puts on the carrier and Doug gives her Kamryn "here's Kamryn"

"Kamryn's happy now, she's sound asleep on my shoulder with her thumb in her mouth" Kamala says

"yes she's happy" "now I can help you with the spaghetti"

Kamala gets the pot and puts water in it to cook the spaghetti "Dougie, the spaghetti is cooking, can you please chop the onions for the sauce"

"Yes, let me put on my onion goggles"

Doug puts on his onion goggles and chops the onions and puts them in the bowl with the tomatoes. "Honey I added the onions to the chopped tomatoes that I have the spaghetti sauce in"

"Yes please, and please can you drain the spaghetti, I have to sit down, Kamryn's sound asleep on my shoulder"

Kamala's sitting at the counter in her chair ... "Dougie, can you please get the bread out of the fridge and put butter on it and then I can sprinkle the garlic and the cheese on the bread"

"Sure Honey, I will get it out, Kamryn looks so adorable sound asleep in your arms"

Kamala- "thank you, and she does, she's a little warm, but we just gave her some Tylenol before she had her snack, she can't have anymore for 4 hours, I will take her temperature before I put her to bed"

Doug gets the bread out of the fridge and brings it over to Kamala who is sitting at the counter in her chair, along with the butter and the package of shredded cheese and he gives it to her"

Kamala- "thanks Honey" and she gives him a kiss.

Doug- "Honey, let me help you since you only have 1 hand free"

Kamala starts sprinkle the garlic when Kamryn starts crying "thanks Honey, Kamryn, what's wrong"

Kamala is rubbing Kamryn's back trying to comfort her, and she sees she's trying to nurse on her shoulder, "I know what you want, you didn't nurse very long after your nap, there's no milk on Mommy's shoulder, honey, Kamryn and I are going to go in my recliner and she's going to have her milk"
