Link was running in Deku Forest where most people get lost and return where they started. He kept getting lost, but he never gave up. He kept going and going, lighting his way to the Great Deku Tree. Countless attempts, he made it. He went up to the sword and touched it causing him to get flashbacks. The Deku Tree spoke to Link before Link went to pull out the sword. He felt his life force draining, but he didn't give up, when he was on his last quarter of his life, he pulled out the sword.
"You are still strong as you'll ever be, Link. Please, bring peace to Hyrule," the Great Deku Tree spoke before Link started heading to Gerudo Town, ready for any danger. Meanwhile, Revail was flying to Rito Village, the strong wind hitting his face. "The weather has gotten worse, I have to be careful," he thought as she looked down to see a bunch of enemies below him. He looked back up and kept flying.
When he got to the stables near Rito Village, he landed to catch his breath. He looked over to see a Rito playing a accordion, he walked over. "Oh? Are you a travel-- wait... you look like master Revali!" he exclaimed before sighing, looking down. "But that's impossible. Master Revali died a 100 years ago," he finished as Revali spoke, "I am Revali, the greatest Rito of all time." The Rito male with the accordion chuckled before saying, "Really? I guess your parents named you after him. Anyway, my name is Kass, I'm traveling the land, playing my music from my dearly departed teacher. Would you like to listen to my song?" Kass asked at the end as Revali looked behind him before looking at Kass with a blank face.
"I suppose you can play," Revail spoke as Kass smiled before playing. When the story came to it's end, Kass spoke, "Come see me again if you wish to hear it again." Revali went on to Rito Village on foot to give his wings a break. Kass was watching Revali go before going back to playing. When Revali made it, he heard a loud screech in the skies causing him to look to see Vah Medoh. Revali went into the village, a few were staring at him in shock because he's THE Revail and others shrugged him off as a Rito who was born far away and looks like the Rito champion whom died years and years ago.
When he got to the chief, he waited for Link's arrival. Hours passed where the sun was setting, a tired looking Link was walking up to Revail. The "dead" Rito champion looked at Link and scoffed. "Flap to it, Link," he called down causing the hero to look up and flip him off. Revail rolled his eyes before looking away from Link causing Link to hurry his ass up to Revail, ready to pound him. When he got there, Revali held a small bag in front of Link's face. "Here, put this on so you don't freeze to death," Revali spoke as Link too it and put it on, Revali looking away at Medoh.
Link went to the chief with Revali following Link. Link spoke with the chief while Revali was looking up at Medoh... he started to remember how he flew (F/n) up there and how he acted to her when she told him he's a good guy when he isn't bragging about himself. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself softly and quietly. Link walked over to Revali and slapped his wing causing him to look at Link and punch him in the arm. "Punch me and you get punched," Revali spoke before they went off to ask Saki about her husband Teba.
After asking, they went to the Flight Range to meet up with Teba. "I never asked, did you ever went to Gerudo Town?" Revali asked Link who shook his head as a yes, before saying the Ganon was too strong where he had to retreat and he couldn't go to Goron City thanks to the lava and not having the right clothes to go near. "I suppose that makes sense, but no worry, I'm sure we'll be able to handle the Ganon that is thrown at us once we're on Medoh," Revali spoke once they made it to the range.
They made it to Teba who looked at Link then at Revali. He scoffed before looking away back at his bow. "Go away, I'm busy," he spoke as Revali was about to scoff right back, but Link stopped him. Minutes later, Link went to shoot targets which took awhile, Revali was watching, thinking that he could do better. Once Link finished, Teba told him to have warm clothes, bomb arrows, and a bow. He nodded as Teba looked at Revali. "And your friend here, is he going to help or stand around like a bum?" Teba asked while looking down at Revali. "For your information, I happen to be the greatest Rito archer of all time,"
Revali spoke while looking up at Teba. "Please, I'll believe you when you show me your stuff," he replied back as Revali had it. He took off flying, holding his bow with his claws. When he made it in the air, he remembered how he met Zelda and what he did to show off his skills. He grabbed his bow and arrows before shooting at the targets. When he got them all, he landed on the railing, looking down at Teba. "I guess you're not just all bark, you almost did as good as the Rito champion; master Revali who passed over a 100 years ago. Heh, I bet he would talk you down and outwit you," Teba spoke as Revali jumped down to Link's side.
Later, they went up to Medoh to break the canons that are making a shield around the beast. Link took down one while Revali flew and took down two, when they made it to the last one, they glared at each other before aiming and firing at the last canon. "Great work guys," Teba started before groaning in pain while Revali and Link where aiming for the landing pad. "bad news guys, I got hit. I'm going to head back to the Flight Range, if I can still made it," he finished before flying back.
When they landed, Link pressed the slate on the unit. "Link? Revali? Is that you?!" (F/n) asked while they looked around. "Thank goodness you both made it. Now Medoh can be returned back to Revail," she spoke as Revali spoke, "I thought you were in the castle, maintaining Ganon with Zelda." "I am, just... Ganon sent my spirit over here, my body is there, empty as it can be. Ganon is trying to figure out how to take control of my body while I'm here, wondering aimlessly, trapped. I gave my piece of the triforce to Zelda so he wouldn't take it. Please! Take back Medoh and free my spirit!" (F/n) begged as Link went to handle the eyes and guardians.
"How did this happen to you, (F/n)? I should have been there, protecting you," Revali thought before heading after Link who got the map of the area. "There should be five terminals. Please, be careful you two," (F/n) spoke once again as they hurried. Link got the second terminal to hear (F/n) say, "There four terminals left, you must hurry before it's too late!" Revali grabbed Link and flew him over to a terminal on the wing of Medoh.
When Link touched it, (F/n) spoke again, "There are three left, are you able to handle it?" Link looked at Revali. "What? I wasn't a bad influence to her. She just picked some things to me," he spoke as Link rolled his eyes before he and Revali went on to get the other terminal. Link nearly got crushed by the huge ball while Revali was laughing at him. When Link used his slate to tilt Medoh, he ran passed Revail as the ball was coming after him causing both Revali and Link to move out of the way before Revail tried to murder Link for doing that.
When they got the terminal, (F/n) spoke, "There are three terminals left, now stop fooling around you two, you must get along in order to free Urbosa and Daruk and save Hyrule!" and so, they went on to get the other three terminals before heading to the main unit. "I have a bad feeling about this, Link," Revali spoke to Link who was ready to turn on the main unit. Link nodded in understanding before pressing the slate on the unit before a black and purple aura surrounded it and a Ganon came out. "Be careful! That monster nearly killed me and Revail! It aim is sharp, Link, Revali, DO NOT DIE!" (F/n) begged as Revali remembered how it went down. (F/n) was standing in fear as he fought, she joined in, once he was nearly done for, she pushed him off Medoh before jumping off too once the Ganon fired.
Revali growled before flying up and aiming at it, taking multiple fires at him. Link took him from down below with his sword in hand. Once the Ganon's health went down to half way, it started shooting on these plates, aiming for Revali. "Careful!" Link called out as Revali did his best to dodge, but got shot in the leg causing him to screech out in pain before crash landing to the ground. Link took out his bow and arrows and aimed at the Ganon before firing and dodging. When it came to it's end, it was night. Link went to Revali and helped him up, Revali limped as Link walked Revali to the unit before pressing his slate to it. "Well I'll be damned," they turned to see the (e/c) Hylian in a ripped blue dress and her (h/l) (h/c) messy as it'll ever be.
"Thanks to you, Medoh is rightfully returned to his owner. You did well you two. I have nothing to give to you, but I give you both my blessing. You both shall be strong, outwitting, and brave to face dangers ahead of you. Now please, bring peace to Hyrule and save Zelda and I. We've been waiting for too long," they glowed and headed back to Rito Village in a ball of light. "Thank you. I shall pilot and open fire when the time is right. Then once fired, I shall be back with my sister," (F/n) spoke as Medoh went on the rock.
"I guess we're finally ready to see how our story will end. Medoh, you're a good bird, please don't say a word otherwise you'll end a sad end with your feathers on the ground," (F/n) spoke as a purple flash were in her (e/c) eyes.
