A week has passed since Revail was made (F/n)'s appointed knight, he was honored, but he was stuck with (F/n), Zelda, and Link due to the king wanting (F/n) to stay by their side. But he and (F/n) can't forgot what he said,

"I ask of you to become my youngest daughter's appointed knight to help her with her quest to rid the darkness that has tainted the Triforce of Power for many years. But you must also not allow her to fight otherwise that darkness becomes stronger and stronger, overwhelming her to a breaking point," the king spoke to Revail who was still shocked to be picked for (F/n)'s personal knight. "But father, I can handle myself," (F/n) stubbornly spoke out of context and without being spoken to. "I don't want to hear it, child. You are to stay by his side, even on the divine beast; Vah Medoh," the king looked at (F/n) as he spoke.

She looked down, trying to remain clam. The king looked back at Revail. "Please keep a watchful ever over her, and do not allow her to make contact with Calamity Ganon," King Rhoam spoke to the Rito who nodded in understanding. (F/n) crossed her arms and pouted, not liking this one bit, but realized something causing her to smirk. "You are to also not allow her to pull any pranks on you or others," he finished before dismissing them. "Wha-- FATHER!" (F/n) whined as the king left. Revail looked at (F/n) sighed in defeat.

Revail was sitting in a tree, looking at the sky while Link and Zelda were doing something with a frog. The young princess however was doing something with Revail's scarf she took from him. He sighed in boredom before looking down at the young princess. "Annnd... done!" she spoke as she held up Revail's scarf. It was the same, but the only thing that was placed on was a single (item of choice(flower, symbol, design, gem, etc, etc)). He jumped down and watch (R/n) stand up. "It's amazing princess," he spoke, as she put the scarf back on him. Zelda looked over and saw what happened to her hard work.

"You ruined it, (F/n)," Zelda spoke before getting up and going to take his scarf to fix it. "No, no Zelda, it's fine. I like it this way. It shows that I'm her knight," he spoke as he gently touched the (item of choice). "But..." Zelda started but Link stopped her before looking at (F/n) and nodded. "D'aw, thanks Link. I'd do the same for you, buuut, I can't because Zel would get upset," she chuckled out as Revail tried not to show that he wanted to laugh. Link chuckled. "I'm right here!" Zelda spoke before groaning and walking away causing Link to follow her.

(F/n) looked at Revail and spoke, "I hope you like it, birde." "I'll treasure it forever, your royal bratiness," he spoke causing them to both snicker. Even if they were now princess and knight and not just friends or before he became her knight, they were still going to act childish around each other.

... But two months passed and Daruk has visited (F/n) often, making Revail worry. "It's almost Zelda's birthday! EEEE, I can't wait!" (F/n) got excited for her older sister's birthday, the day where she would be named queen where the king would step down and aid his daughter until his death day. "Just four more days! Revail, what should I get Zelda?" (F/n) asked, her eyes shining like stars. "I don't know, maybe a new book? Maybe some information about those guardians she's trying to get working for us," he spoke as she sighed before leaning backwards on her chair, using one foot to keep her from not falling.

"She might like it, but it has to come form deep from the heart. She's my sister and I care and love her to pieces, but... finding a gift fit for her is hard. The best gift is to unlock her "forsaken" power," (F/n) air quoted 'forsaken' before gasping and bringing herself up and slamming her hands on the table, startling the Rito knight. "I GOT IT! REVAIL, I NEED YOU TO GO LOOK FOR FAIRIES AND FROGS WITH LINK. I NEED TO GET SOME OTHER THINGS READY!" he sighed. "You know, I'm your knight, the best archer in Rito Village and all of Rito kind, a champion, and the pilot for Vah Medoh, not a errand bird,"

be spoke, crossing his wings. "And further more, I am not going--" he was cut off by (F/n) giving him her widest eyes. He signed before saying one word, "FINE." "Thanks Vail Vail!" she yelled before running off. He sighed before getting only to see Link, smirking. "You were listening in on us, weren't you?" Revail asked as a nod came from Link. Revail sighed before walking ahead, "Come on, you know where those weird fairies are and you know how to catch the, I can hunt down those frogs," they went off.

A few days passed when Revail and Link gave (F/n) the items. She thanked them and started working, not allowing anyone to come in. They were confused, but they didn't answer, they took this time to get to know each other and make fun of their princess causing them to be buds... but they still act the same. When she was done, it was one day before Zelda's birthday. She didn't show anyone what she made, not even Revail. "Revail, thank you for helping me with this. Without you and Link, I wouldn't have been able to make Zelda's gift. So please, take this," she spoke before giving a small pendent of a mythical glowing wing. "I had one extra fairy and one extra frog, so I did what I did. I hope you like it."

He was touched to receive a gift like this from her, even if she's his friend, he never thought she would do this. "How--" he was cut off by (F/n) pressing a finger to her lips. "A psychopath never revives her secrets." he buttoned the pendent onto his scarf right next to the (item of choice). He hugged her causing her to be stunned. "I love it, (F/n)," he spoke as she hugged him back. "You're welcome and I'm glad," she replied back before they parted. He went back to Medoh that night to place the pendent in a safe place before going to bed.

But what was in store for them the next day would tear them apart.
