Our Destiny?
The next morning, (F/n) finally got a good nights rest, best that she had in this month and time frame. She was safe in the bird man's arms... or as his race is known as, the Rito. Softly waking up, the princess looked up at Revail to see that he's still asleep. (F/n) smiled before snuggling into his feathers again. "I know this would be romantic and shit, but I can't help it... his feathers are so soft," she thought to herself as she felt movement from Revail who nuzzled her, holding her close. "He's doing it again, but... it's adorable. Like a child nuzzling his doll," she thought, smiling softly to herself.
When he woke up, he felt (F/n) clinging to his chest. He was freaking out again, but not like the other two times. He let go of her and pushed her out of the hammock. "OW!" she called out before getting up and glaring at Revail. "Why were you in my bed?!" he demanded from her as she yelled, "Why should I tell you? You'll just laugh because it's stupid!" he got out of his hammock and looked down/up at her. "Tell me, princess," he was glaring down with pure annoyance. She looked away from him and crossed her arms. "Fine, I had a nightmare again, the same as the last one..." she spoke, but she didn't want to tell them the full on truth.
He sighed before petting her head. "Look, I'm sorry you had a nightmare, but you could have just woken me up to ask to snuggle me in my beauty rest. If you keep doing that, you'll be labelled as creepy. You're already crazy," he told her as she swatted his wing away. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry, but you were sleeping so peacefully. I couldn't--" she stopped mid senstenace before falling to her knees, holding her head. She yelped in pain as Revail quickly picked her up and felt her forehead. "You're burning up!" he scolded her as she looked up at him. "S-sorry, I guess I haven't noticed that I-I was starting to get sick," she tried to lighten the mood, but he quickly took her to the room she was staying in before he laid her down in bed. "You're staying in bed and you are not coming out unless I tell you to," he told her before leaving to get a warm wet cloth for her head along with medicine.
She whined in annoyance. "I don't want to be locked up in a room... I don't want to be locked down forever in a bedroom," she thought before looking out the window in the room. She saw Revail flying down to Rito Village. She got out of bed and hurried out with her shoes on and her bag. She ran to the edge of Medoh. "Medoh, please... don't tell Revail that I left," (F/n) whispered as a screech came from them. "Thank you..." she thanked Medoh mentally before jumping down to glide down. Once she glided down to the ground somehow, she looked at Medoh before heading to the stables to get one of the royal horses.
When she got the horse, she rode far, tears rolling down her eyes. She took off her gloves and just rode to get to somewhere far from there. "I thought Revail wasn't like that... I know he's looking out for my health, but saying that hurts," she thought as she wiped away her tears. A bokoblin popped up in front of the horse (F/n) got causing it to stand on it's hind legs, knocking (F/n) down. The horse ran for it leaving a defenseless (F/n) to handle it. "Please..." she whispered as it swung at her, but she rolled backwards to a tree. She grabbed a branch and pulled it off and held it, ready to fight. It ran to her and swung once more, but she rolled to the side before a chuchu came out of the blue. "Dammit!" she yelled before turning around quickly before whacking it to the bokoblin.
She ran for it, holding the branch as the bokolin followed her. She was crying, but she tripped and landed in snow. She tumbled until she hit a tree. She was knocked out. When Revail came back with medicine, he went to look for (F/n) but she wasn't there. "Princess?" he called out as he looked for her, but she wasn't anywhere to be found. "No... no!" he started to worry before he hurried outside to look for her. Nowhere. He remembered that she still had her glider causing him to worry more. He flew down to look for her. "She couldn't have gotten far... please be okay, (F/n)," he thought.
When he got to the stables, he asked if they seen her, they said she was heading for the castle, she was crying. He felt guilt brush over him causing him to hurry. (F/n) started to wake up, still in the snow. She got up, holding herself as she saw a light from a cave. She started to walk there before going in and seeing a traveler and fire. She went in causing him to look and smile. "Are you okay dearie?" he asked as she sat down by the fire. "Yes, I'm fine--" he noticed her hand, but he held it for later. "What brings you here in these cold parts?" he asked as she told him her story. "Sounds dreadful, young one," he spoke as she wiped away her tears that we rolling down. "I know, but he had to say that when he knows well enough that I hate being locked up," he spoke as he placed in a wood to the fire.
Revail landed in the snow, and called out for (F/n), but he saw (F/n)'s gloves. He grabbed them and them saw fire causing him to hurry over. "I couldn't help but notice that syboll on your hand, dearie," the traveler spoke, pointing at (F/n)'s right hand. Revail got to the cave and listened in while spying. She covered her right hand. "I-it's just a... a birthmark," she spoke, trembling. It's a lie, Revail knew that both of her hands have no birthmark whatsoever. "But wouldn't it be brown? This is gold," he spoke before grabbing her hand softly to look. "Ah... the Triforce. But it seems like the Triforce of Power is brighter than the Triforce of Courage and the Triforce of Wisdom. I'm sure the Yiga Clan will love to have you on their side," he finsihed before she took her hand away from him as she got up, backing away. "No... I trusted you!" she yelled as he laughed and his disguise came off.
Revail hurried and pushed (F/n) behind him as he pulled out his bow and aimed at the Yiga Clan member and fired, hitting him dead on in the face. "Run princess!" he yelled as she growled. "NO!" she grabbed a sword that was in the cave and ran to the member who was about to disappear, she threw the sword at his face, knocking him down again before he vanished, leaving behind a few rupees and mighty bananas. She went over and picked them up along with the weapon he dropped. "When were you going to tell me or anyone?" Revail asked out of the blue causing her to look down.
"I didn't know how... it just came to me two nights ago... when I had a nightmare that you and the others died," she spoke as she looked at her hand. Revail picked her up and started walking. "Where are we going?!" she asked, freaking out. "I'm taking you back to the castle so you can tell your father," he spoke causing her to hit his back. "Unhand me! I can't tell him!" but he didn't listen, he found the horse (F/n) was riding and placed her on the horse before leading the horse to Hyrule castle. She wanted to escape, but she knew she couldn't.
When they made it to the castle, Revail led (F/n) to the throne room where the king was worrying. "Your majesty," Revail called out, (F/n) behind him. "Rito champion, what brings you here?" he asked as Revail showed (F/n) who was looking down, covering her right hand. "My youngest daughter, (F/n), you're safe!" the king cried out in joy before hugging his daughter. "There is something you need to know about the princess," Revail spoke as the king let go of (F/n) and backed up. Revail grabbed (F/n) hand and moved it to show her right hand. "The Triforce of Power... how did this happen?" he asked his daughter, thinking she stole it. "I don't know, I was asleep one day and it just... appeared when I woke up," she told her father who sighed before looking at Revail. "Revail, I must ask something of you to do in such dire need for my youngest daughter."
Was this destiny? Was this fate? Or was it just a curse? Maybe it was a coincidence... but all that we know what happened next, Revail became princess (F/n) (M/n) Hyrule's appointed knight. Zelda was pleased to know that (F/n) would always be joining her and Link with Revail by her side, Urbosa was pleased to know that (F/n) would be spending more time with each other than they thought, but Daruk was happy... but he was mostly angry. He didn't want anyone to know, so he kept it in while plotting on how to take out Revail.
Their destinies were set, their fate was set... the end for them were set as well.
