It's been 2 weeks since Steven and Star had met, from there all for of them would hang out at the beach, the temple or their hotel room. Today was a new day; Steven was on the phone with Star, Amethyst was playing videogames, Pearl was doing the dishes and Garnet was killing it with the newspaper.

"So, Star I was wondering if you'd like to.........." Steven said stopping as all the gems start looking at him, then feeling awkward.

"What's that?" Star asked.

"If you'd like to go out on a date?" Steven asked as the gems start smiling, but Amethyst starts laughing.

"Sure, I'd love too" Star answered.

"Cool, I'll pick you up by 7" Steven said.

"Then I'll be ready" Star said cutting the call.

"Star, who was that?" Marco asked.

"My knight in shining armour" Star said slipping onto the floor from her bed all lovestruck.

"Steven and Star! Kissing in a tree!! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!!! First comes love!!!! Then comes marriage!!!!! Then a little gemling in a baby carriage!!!!!!" Amethyst sang teasing Steven.

"Shut up" Steven said sounding like a little boy.

"Is little Steven afraid to take his girlfriend on a date?" Amethyst said mockingly.

"I'm going to book a place, probably that new restaurant that just opened" Steven said leaving the house for the new restaurant that just opened a few blocks​ away from the Crab shack. Steven got finally got to the restaurant, it wasn't packed with too many people because it just started​, but it was being run by Mr. Smiley and his friend.

"Hey Mr. Smiley, I wanna make a reservation for your best table" Steven said seeing Mr. Smiley and getting straight to the point.

"The best table huh, who is the special lady caught in your net?" Mr. Smiley asked.

"Just a friend of mine I wanna impress" Steven said.

"Will there be music or not?" Mr. Smiley asked.

"No music, just normal dinner at the best table available" Steven said.

"Good, we'll be expecting you" Mr. Smiley said.

"Then I'll be ready, till then I bid you a do" Steven said leaving.

At the hotel.......

Star was panicking, looking for the best outfit to wear, busy throwing dresses, blouses, skirts and shoes out of the closest; while Star did that, Jackie and Marco just watched in simplicity as Star continues to throw things out.

"What do I wear?!?!" Star said panicking.

"Star calm down, your messing up the room and the date is gonna be okay" Marco said trying his best to calm Star down.

"Don't talk to me about calm, Mr. I have to write what I need to talk to Jackie about on my hand" Star said still looking for something to wear.

"Oh shit! She just got you!! Haha!!!" Jackie laughed.

"Whatever" Marco huffed.

"Yes, the perfect outfit" Star said pulling out a special dress for her date.

Later that day/7:00pm......

Steven gets to the hotel, performing a last minute appearance check; He is wearing a Nike Sb dark blue polo button-up t-shirt, plain black not too skinny jeans, his signature lightish dark blue Nike Sb slip-on shoes with Nike logo and ​the stitches in gold, a G-shock watch and a black Nike hat, upon getting there, he was literally jammed in the face with demands from Rafael.

"Okay sir, I'll make sure to have her back in one piece" Steven said before Star walks up to him; White dress wrapped around her body in a body fit way, sliver glittered high heels and her glittering headband, it really an effect on him.

"Hey Steven" Star said a little nervous, but Steven was utterly dumbstruck.

"H-H-Hello" Steven said still dumbstruck, soon composing himself.

"Shall we" Steven bows offering his hand.

"Yes, we shall" Star said taking hold of Steven's hand.

"They grow up so fast" Angie said as Steven and Star leave for their date.

At the restaurant.......

Steven and Star finally arrive, with him opening the door for his date so she wouldn't stress.

"Why thank you young man" Star said.

"Your safety and enjoyment are my priorities" Steven said as a moment of silence passed, then the two burst into a fit of laughter.

"We should get going" Star said.

"Yeah, the faster you move the more money I make tonight, so move it" The Uber driver said as Star got out, and he speeds off.

"The nerve of some people" Star said annoyed.

"That's life for ya" Steven said taking Star, in for their dinner. As they enjoyed their dinner, Star talked about her life; the adventures she went on, the times she almost died, the times her and her parents fought over petty and important things. Then Steven talked about his own life; the times he got captured by homeworld, the times he escaped, the times he hung out with other people, the times he got into arguments with the gems (Pearl and Garnet), the times he got into tight and funny spaces.

Finally it was time for the young lovebirds to go home, but it starts raining, in which this irritates Steven, but he creates a shield for them to walk under.

"No Steven, I wanna feel the rain" Star said.

"But your dress will get soaked" Steven said.

"I don't care!!!" Star said running from the protection of the shield.

"Star, don't run away" Steven said running after her, it took some time but Steven caught up.

"Woah! What a rush!!" Star said with a big grin.

"Yeah, but don't ever run away like that" Steven said grabbing her arm and pulling her close.

"So, you wanna go home now?" Star asked as Steven takes his phone out, plays some music, puts the phone back in his pocket and then places his  hands on her waist.

"Or do you want to dance?" Steven asked as Star answers by placing her hands on his shoulders as they slow dance.

"This is really nice, just dancing in the rain" Star said as Steven takes off his cap, puts it's on Star's head.

"You look better now" Steven said then pulling Star close, keeping a firm grip on her waist.

"S-S-Steven, what a-are you d-doing?" Star asked blushing.

"You really cute, I was just wondering if this would bother you" Steven said.

"It is" Star said blushing harder.

"Not this, this" Steven said kissing Star on her lips, making her face go red, soon Steven pulls away.

"I'm sorry, I was just in the mood and I must have pushed you, I'm so sorry" Steven said realising what he had done.

"Don't be, I wish I was the one who made the move and not you" Star said.

"So, you like me?!?!!!" Steven said surprised.

"Yeah, the more I got and get to know you, the more I want to be closer to you" Star said.

"Do you wanna try this again?" Steven asked.

"Sure" Star said as they both lean in and kiss with passion, unlike the first one, Steven held her close and Star ran her fingers through his hair. What felt like thousands of years were like 15 seconds until they both pull away.

"That was beautiful" Star said.

"Let's consider this as our first kiss and forget the other one" Steven said.

"Sure, I love you Steven" Star said kissing Steven again.

"I love you too Star" Steven said​ kissing back.

After that, Steven drops off Star and goes home to meet a smirking Amethyst.

"So, how did it go?" Amethyst and Marco asked.

(I'm just writing this in one timeline, instead of two alternate time lines, I don't got that time and I'm being a lazy ass)

"It was perfect" Steven and Star answered touching their lips.

That's the end, y'all can now go home.
