Your POV

I woke up with a massive headache, I held my head and shook of the pain. All I remember is that I passed out and I collapsed to the ground.
I looked around and saw that I was in a place I have never seen before, this must be Marina's home. Marina must have dragged me to her house.

I saw that I was in the house's living room, I sat up and I saw my helmet on the coffee table and I looked around the house more, this place looks peaceful and I'm surprised that the press don't come here. I stood up and started walking around the house and saw a lot of pictures and even a few vinyls.

I kept walking until I reached the room where it looks like the kitchen, I looked through the door and saw that no one was there, so I decided to go the sink and wash my face, I turned on the faucet and water came out of the faucet.

I splashed my face with the water and the water washed away the the oil and dirt on my face and wiped my with the nearby towel. I really need to find an underground facility where there are enough supplies for me. Maybe I'll look for one later. I was about to walk out of the room and leave when I bumped into someone. I saw that it was Marina and when she realized it was me, she gave me an awkward smile and a wave.

I sighed and I helped her up and she dusted herself and she rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly after she was done dusting herself off.

Marina: You're finally awake, how are you feeling?

Y/N: Feeling better now that I slept, thanks for bringing me here.

Marina: It's the least I could do after you saved me last night, d-do you want to eat?

Y/N: After 12,000 years of sleeping without eating? Sure, won't hurt.

I sat on the chair in front of the table and she started making waffles.

Timeskip

Marina was finally done making waffles and she handed me a plate of 3 stacked waffles with maple syrup on top, how did they make waffles and maple syrup if.......nevermind. I guess I'll never know. Marina handed me a fork and I started eating the waffles and so did she. Man it's good to finally eat after twelve millenniums, after a few minutes of eating I rested against the chair and I was full and so was Marina.

Marina: So, Y/N. What are you going to do today?

Y/N: Hmmmm...well I could try to look for an abandoned facility that's still intact and has a proper water supply so I could take a shower, and I'm going to try get job at the Inkling Police station, you know? Bounty hunting and stuff like that.

Marina: You can take a shower here.

Y/N: I don't wanna be a bother

Then I heared a loud yawn coming from the door and I turned my attention towards the sound and saw an Inkling that looks like the same girl I saw in Inkopolis Square, I think her name was Pearl. When she saw me she immediately pulled out two strange pistols that shoots Ink, she aimed it towards me and I draw one pistol and aimed it at her and Marina was trying to break the tension and telling us to lower our guns.

Marina: That's not how you treat a guest, Pearl!

Pearl: I don't care! He killed three Inklings!

Y/N: Three Inkling that was about to rape Marina! A.K.A. your best friend! I suggest you lower your weapon and I will lower mine!

Pearl: You do it first!

I just sighed and I lowered my gun but Pearl didn't and she pulled the trigger and she shot ink right at my face and I dropped my gun and held my face and I don't know how...but the ink fucking burns, the heat was enough to burn a flesh, it kept burning my face for at least three seconds.

Note to self: Don't go in missions without any armor on because the ink burns for three seconds, I ran to the sink and turned on the faucet and washed the remaining ink off my face, I checked if I had burnt flesh and there aren't any, thank GOD I didn't get one.

Marina: PEARLIE!!! Oh my Cod, Y/N are you alright?

Y/N: One, that fucking burns, good thing I didn't get any burn marks. Two, that was a dick move.

Pearl: I............I-I thought you weren't affected by ink?

Y/N: It's because I had armor back then, but I think I'm only affected if it came directly from your weapons and made contact with my skin.

Pearl: Okay?

Y/N: You've always been like this, haven't you?

She chuckled and she put away her weapons.

Pearl: That's right, bitch!

Then I walked towards her with a menacing aura coming out of me and I was towering over her, she was sweating bullets but at the same time she had a faint blush on her face which I didn't because I was a bit pissed at her.

Pearl's POV

Oh my Cod! Marina isn't lying, he does look hot! He's so close to me and he's towering over me making sweat a lot but at the same time I can't stop myself from blushing, I can't say anything because I might piss him off even more.

Y/N: But otherwise I'm fine. I'm going to take my leave for now, thanks for the food Marina. I'll come back later and ask you a few questions regarding about the Inklings and Octolings. See you later.

Marina: Where are you going?

Y/N: To the station, hopefully I find a job.

After that he smiled and walked out of the room and onto the living room and grabbed his helmet and put it on, he went outside and jumped to one of the nearby houses and headed for the Inkopolis Square. After I heared the door close, Marina started blushing and squealing and I looked at her weird.

Marina: What?

Pearl: Oh no...

Marina: Oh no what?

Pearl: You like him?!

Marina: What?! No! I mean I do like him, but it's not like I have feelings for him. Sure he looks good and he's so nice and he's tall and looks so...fit under that armor...I think....*blushes harder* OH MY COD I DO LIKE HIM!!!

Pearl: Well I don't...but to be honest he did look good and he looks cute too. *blushes*

Marina: Oh really?! That blush says so otherwise, Pearlie!

Pearl: Shut up, Marina!

Back to you

I was running around the rooftops looking for the Police Station of Inkopolis, after a few minutes of looking I found it. I dropped from the buildings and in front of the station and saw a few Inkling eyeing me. I went inside the station and saw almost all of the Inklings there are staring directly at me and I looked back at them. I just stood there making no movement and making no sound.

Then I walked towards the Wanted Board and started choosing the job I'm going to take, I'm going to start off simple, I picked one wanted Inkling, wanted for 17 murders and 56 raping incidents, the reward's kind of good which is 10,000 coins. This Inkling is nicknamed "Ink Jizzer ". Kind of a funny name for a rapist.

I took it and went to the reception and the receptionist was an Inkling Female with pink tentacles for hair and was wearing a police hat that has the symbol of the Inkopolis Police Department.

I saw that the receptionist was sweating heavily as she looks at me, I put the poster on the counter and pointed at the image.

Y/N: Last sighting?

???: L-let's see.......uhhhhhh...got it! Southeast Coast of Inkopolis City.

Y/N: When was that?

???: It's three weeks ago. Anything else, sir?

Y/N: Does he have affiliations? Is he part of a gang? Mafia? Group?

???: No he isn't, but I suggest you still take cautions, he's also known to be a good user of a Splattershot and Dualies.

Y/N: I'll keep that in mind, thanks uhhhh...what's your name?

???: O-oh! I-it's Harrison.

Y/N: Thanks Harrison, I'll see you in a bit.

I was about to walk out when I felt someone point a gun at my head, I just sighed and turned around lightning fast and grabbed her gun and threw it to the side, she backed away and pulled out another weapon.

???: That is supposed to be my bounty, I was planning in taking the job but you took it.

Y/N: Well it's your loss for not taking it sooner.

???: Hand it over! I need that money to buy equipment!

Y/N: It's not my fault that you didn't get this job, it's your own fault. You had the opportunity to take it but you just had to wait. Life is about taking opportunities. You would've had this job without any problems and I won't have any problems looking for another job. I have to go.

I walked past her and she was fuming with anger and she looks so red. I ignored it and I jumped to one of the buildings and onto the rooftops, my armor's hud was hacking every camera in the Southeast Coast of Inkopolis.

It kept searching and searching until it finally found my bounty, he's at the apartments of the coast, I started running towards the direction of where my target was, I need to stop this fucker now.

Timeskip

It was afternoon and I have been tailing my bounty for like an hour now, I need a chance to get him to a place where there isn't any Inklings around, I kept following him until he turned to an alley.

I pulled out both of my handguns and loaded both of them with the High Voltage rounds and proceeded to follow him in the alley.I went inside and followed him, he looked back and saw me and he bolted. He kept running and running and I just kept chasing him until he reached a dead end.

He pulled out his weapon and started shooting ink towards me in sheer panic he used up all the ink he had. I dodged all of the ink, a few may have managed to hit me but it didn't have any effect since I had armor on. I aimed both of my handguns towards the Inkling and shot two of the High Voltage round and both of them hit the Inkling making him scream in pain and he fell to the ground unconscious.

I picked him up and I carried him and put him over my shoulder, I climbed the ladder and started running back to the police station. I expected more of a challenge and a bit more harder than what the cops said, I am insulted, that this didn't live up to my expectation.

Timeskip

I finally arrived at the police station just in the nick of time, I saw a few Inklings eyeing me again but I ignored them and went inside the station. And again, all of the police are staring at me and I saw the one who tried to take the job I picked earlier resting against the wall.

I walked towards the reception and talked to Harrison.

Harrison: Y-you're already here? We have been hunting this criminal down for a year now and you found him in just a day?

Y/N: Yeah, I'm kind of dissapointed with this idiot. I was expecting a challenge out of him but didn't. He's an amateur.

A few Inkling Police took the criminal away and put him in custody.

Y/N: Now about the reward...

Harrison: Right, here's the reward money. *hands me a bag full of coins* Thank you for your service.

I nodded and grabbed the bag of coins and I was about to leave and was at the door of the station when I noticed the one who pointed her "Dualies" at me, she had a look of sadness in her eyes.
I sighed and I walked back towards her, when she saw me she looked the other way.

???: Tch!

Y/N: Hey.

???: What do you want? Here to rub it in? Well I don't care anymore! Take it!

I looked at her jacket and I squinted my eyes and saw a writing in her goggles which my armor was able to translate into "Gillian".

Y/N: Well I came here to ask you what you really want to do with the money, Gillian.

Gillian: How do you know my name?!

Y/N: That writing on your goggles, it clearly says Gillian. Now answer me, what are you planning to do with the money?

Gillian: Like I said, I'm going to use to buy equipment and do more jobs so I could feed myself everyday. I also need it to pay my bills, jobs these days with that kind of amount of reward is what I'm looking for.

I sighed deeply and I proceeded to throw her the bag of coins, she caught it and she looked at me with a shocked and confused face.

Gillian: W-what are you doing?

Y/N: I want you to have it.

Gillian: But......why?

Y/N: It's because you need it more than I do, I know that I'm not getting the money but there's still plentiful of jobs out there. And I feel dissapointed when I did the job because I expected a challenge.

I was about to walk out when heared Gillian call me and held my hand and I stopped in my tracks.

Gillian: W-wait!

Y/N: What is it?

Gillian: What's your name?

Y/N: Y/N. My name is Y/N.

Gillian: Is there anything I can do to pay you back?

Y/N: There's no need for you to pay me back.

Gillian: Can I at least see what's under that helmet?

I knew that she was going to ask this, I put my hands on my helmet and started pulling it off, as soon as they all saw me they all went wide eyed. I immediately put my helmet back on and noticed that Gillian had a blush on her face.

Y/N: Well, if that is all, I am going to take my leave. Goodbye.

I finally walked out of the station and saw hordes of reporters and cameramen running towards me, I jumped to the building and ran on the rooftops again towards where Marina and Pearl's house is. Back inside the station, Gillian still had a blush on her face. She looked at the bag of coins and she held the bag near her heart and her blush worsens.
