Preeta was preparing breakfast when her mother entered the kitchen.. she sighed unbelievably

Priya (Preeta's mother): Preeta (Preeta looked at her) kya kar rahi hai tu? College ka time ho gaya hai.. aur tu yaha kitchen mai lagi hai

Preeta: Maa kal aapki tabiyat kharab thi.. isliye maine socha.. ki mai hi bana du

Priya: Koi tabiyat kharab nahi hai meri.. tu chup chap college jaa.. Mishti taiyaar ho gayi hai.. tera intezaar kar rahi hai.. chal jaa

Preeta: Par maa.. (Priya glared at her) accha abb aankhe matt dikhao.. jaa rahi hu mai.. par haa.. aap jyaada kaam matt karna

Priya: Haa baba nahi karungi.. tu jaa abb

Preeta nodes and after hugging her she left from there

In college

Karan was sitting in the class looking outside impatiently

Karan: Kya yaar.. kab aayegi Preeta.. kabse intezar kar raha hu uska

Ritwik entered inside the class.. he looked at him and rolled his eyes

Ritwik: Yeh ladka pura pagla gaya hai uss ladki ka k peeche ekk din mai (to him) Karan.. chal andar chal.. mujhe baithne de

Karan: Tu idhar nahi baith sakta.. idhar Preeta baithegi samjha.. tu jaa kahi aur baith jaa

Ritwik: Abhi tak ladki pati bhi nahi.. aur abhi se tu apne dost ko bhul gaya

Karan: Dekh.. woh teri hone waali bhabhi hai.. toh izzat se bula usse samjha

Ritwik: Accha.. tu etna sure kaise hai? Agar usne tujhe mana kar diya toh

Karan (smirks): The Karan Luthra ko koi resist nahi kar sakta

Ritwik: Maaf karna The Karan Luthra ji.. par mujhe nahi lagta ki woh baaki ladkiyo ki tarah hai.. tujhe uske peeche thodi mehnat karni padegi.. aur apni har ladki ko dekh kar flirt karne waali aadat ko chhodna hoga

Karan (smiled): Uske peeche toh mai puri duniya chhod du.. yeh toh ekk choti si cheez hai

Ritwik (shocked): Bhai tu Karan hi hai naa.. uss ladki mai tune aisa bhi kya dekh liya.. jo ekk din mai etna badal gaya

Karan (chuckles): Wahi.. jo aaj tak baaki ladkiyo mai nahi dikha.. (lostly) kal jab maine usee dekha.. toh bass dekhta reh gaya.. uska woh masoom aur dara hua chehra.. usee dekh kar mai toh kuch time k liye kho hi gaya tha.. jab maine usee dekha naa.. toh bass dil se ekk hi awaz aayi.. ki she is the one for me..

Ritwik smiled listening to him

Ritwik: Tere muh se aisi bate sunn kar thoda jhatka lagta hai.. par mai khush hu.. ki abb finally tu bass ekk ladki k peeche hai

Karan looked at him

Karan: Aur uss ekk ladki ko paane k liye.. yeh Karan Luthra kisi bhi had tak jayega

Ritwik: Agar dialogue maarna ho gaya ho.. toh jara nazar aage kar k dekh.. Preeta aa gayi

Karan immediately looked in front and looked at Preeta who was finding place to seat

He stood up from his place and went towards her.. Preeta looked at him

Karan: Good morning Preeta.. aaj bohot der ho gayi tumhe

Preeta (smiles slightly): Haa woh ghar mai thoda kaam tha.. waise tum kya roj etni jaldi aa jaate ho?

Karan: Haa aur nahi toh kya? Mai aaj tak class mai der se nahi aaya

Preeta looked at him impressively

Ritwik (mutters): Yeh ladka ladki k chakkar mai abb tak naa jaane ketne jhooth bol chuka hai.. 90% of the time yeh class mai late se hi aata hai.. phir professor se daant khaata hai

Karan (to Preeta): Aa agar tumhe koi problem nahi ho.. toh tum mere paas baith sakti ho

Preeta smiles and nodes.. Karan took her to the seat

After sometime the professor came in the class and everyone wished him

The professor looked at Karan and raised his eyebrows

Professor: Karan Luthra..

Karan looked at the professor and stood up nervously

Karan (nervously): Yes.. yes sir?

Professor: Aaj kal aapki tabiyat toh theek hai naa?

Karan: Haa.. haa sir.. meri tabiyat ko kya hona hai.. woh toh ekdum chaka chak hai.. par.. par aapko aisa ku laga

Professor: Ku ki aap lagatar do din se class mai time se aa rahe hai.. warna toh aadhe time bhatakte rehte hai bahar.. yaa toh college hi der se aate hai

Preeta looked at Karan and he mentally slapped his forehead

Karan (in mind): Yeh professor meri love life aage nahi badhne dega (to him) sir yeh.. yeh aap kya keh rahe hai.. mai toh humesa time se aata hu

Professor: Ohh mai nahi jaanta tha.. ki aap Mr. India hai.. ku ki mujhe toh aap dikhe hi nahi kabhi

Karan (in mind): Yeh ku izzat ka faluda karne mai laga hai mera (to him) sir.. woh..

Professor: Rehne do.. aapse behes karna matlab khud sir (head) diwal se patakna.. so please be seated

Karan (smiles): Okk sir (in mind: sab kuch kharab kar k bol raha hai please be seated)

He looked at Preeta who was looking at him with questionable look.. he made a crybaby face

Preeta: Tum toh keh rahe the.. ki tum roj jaldi aate ho.. par professor toh kuch aur hi bol rahe hai

Karan: Aree yeh professor pagal hai.. kuch bhi bolta hai.. tum iski baato mai dhyaan matt do

Preeta: Yeh professor pagal hai.. yaa tum mujhe pagal bana rahe ho

Karan: Tumhe lagta hai mai aisa kar sakta hu (Preeta nodes) good.. bohot acche thoughts hai tumhare mere baare mai

Preeta: Dekho nahi pata ku.. tumhara chehra dekh kar lagta hai.. ki tum jaisa dikhane ki koshish kar rahe ho.. waise nahi ho.. mujhe tum naa shakal se bohot chant lagte ho

Karan: Mai aisa nahi hu.. mai.....

Professor (interrupted): Karan.. khud toh tum padhte nahi ho.. dusre ko bhi padhne nahi dete

Preeran looked at the professor.. both stood up

Professor looked at Preeta

Professor: Aap Preeta Arora ho naa? New admission?

Preeta nodes slowly

Professor: Maine aake purane college k grades dekhe.. you are really a good student.. aapko iss ladke (points towards Karan) k saath nahi baithna chahiye.. yeh aapko kabhi padhne nahi dega.. so please I would request you.. ki aap kahi aur baith jao.. yeh ladke se jetna dur raho.. utna accha hai.. yeh naa kabhi khud padhta hai.. aur naa aapko padhne dega

Preeta nodes slightly and sat in another place while Karan felt bad and looked down.. he too sat down

Preeta looked back at Karan who was looking down

Preeta (in mind): Sir ne Karan ko kuch jyaada hi bol diya.. woh bhi class mai sabke saamne.. unhe aisa nahi karna chahiye tha.. Karan ko bohot bura laga hoga (sighs)

Preeta was looking for Karan in the whole college

Preeta: Yeh Karan kaha chala gaya.. class k baad direct bahar nikal gaya tha.. etne bade college mai kaha dhundu usee

She looked at Ritwik who was talking to his other friends.. she went towards him

Preeta: Ritwik ji..

Ritwik looked at her

Ritwik: Haa boliye bhabhi (Preeta wide her eyes.. he bites his tongue) sorry sorry woh kya hai naa.. meri bhabhi bhi bilkul aapke jaise dikhti hai.. isliye galti ho gayi

Preeta (not interested): Aap yeh sab chodiye.. aur bataiye Karan kaha hai.. aapne dekha hai usee?

Ritwik (confused): Par aap Karan ko dhund ku rahi hai?

Preeta: Woh sir ne puri class k saamne usee etna suna diya.. woh bohot upset lag raha tha uss time.. toh socha.. usee baat kar lu

Ritwik: Aapko Karan ki etni chinta hai

Preeta: Haa friend hai woh mera.. toh chinta toh hogi naa.. abb bataiye ki kaha hai woh?

Ritwik (smiled): I think woh naa.. canteen mai hoga.. akela baitha hoga waha aur black coffee pee raha hoga

Preeta (makes faces): Black coffee kaun peeta hai? Ketni kadwi hoti hai

Ritwik (chuckles): Par Karan ko bohot pasand hai.. aur jab bhi uska mood off hota hai naa.. toh woh black coffee hi peeta hai

Preeta: Accha.. canteen kaha hoga

Ritwik: Aaiye.. mai aapko chhod deta hu

Preeta nodes and he took her to the canteen

In Canteen

Karan was sipping his black coffee when someone called him

'Karan' Karan turned and looked at Preeta who was standing behind him

She sat beside him

Preeta: Kya baat hai.. tum class se bina kuch bole yaha ku aa gaye.. mai tumhe kabse dhund rahi thi

Karan (shocked): Tum sacch mai mujhe dhund rahi thi.. par ku?

Preeta: Mujhe laga tumhe bura laga sir ki baato ka.. toh..

Karan (interrupted): Mujhe koi bura nahi laga (sips his coffee again)

Preeta: Jhooth matt bolo.. saaf saaf dekh kar pata chal raha tha.. ki tumhe bura laga hai

Karan: Mujhe toh aadat ho gayi hai abb iski.. nahi pata unki kya dushmani hai mujhse

Preeta: Accha toh phir tum unhe show ku nahi kar dete.. ki tum bhi acche marks score kar sakte ho

Karan (smiles tightly): Mai pass ho jau.. yahi bohot badi baat hoti hai

Preeta: Ku? Tumhe padhna pasand nahi hai kya?

Karan (rolled his eyes): Padhna kise pasand hota hai

Preeta (smiled widely): Mujhe.. mujhe padhna bohot pasand hai

Karan: Baap re.. kisi ko padhna kaise pasand ho sakta hai

Preeta: Mujhe toh hai.. mujhe padhna bohot jyaada pasand hai

Karan: Mai pehli baar kisi se yeh sunn raha hu (chuckles)

'Karan baby tum yaha kya kar rahe ho.. mai tumhe kabse dhund Rahi hu'

Karan and Preeta looked at the girl.. Preeta was confused while Karan made an irritated face

The girl: Karan.. kya ho gaya.. tum mujhe ignore ku kar rahe ho.. aur tum (to Preeta) mere Karan baby k pass kya kar rahi ho.. utho yaha se

Preeta: What do you mean by tumhara? Yeh insaan hai.. koi samaan nahi.. jo tum isse apna bula rahi hu (Karan looked at her)

The girl: Tum hoti kaun ho humare beech mai bolne waali

Preeta: Mai Karan ki friend hu

The girl (smirked): Aur mai Karan ki girlfriend hu

Preeta looked at Karan shockingly

Karan slapped his forehead

Karan: Shanaya.. please yaar jao yaha se..

Shanaya: Ku.. mai ku jau? Kal se dekh rahi hu.. jab se yeh ladki iss college mai aayi hai.. iske saath chipke hue ho.. I know.. tum roj roj apni girlfriends change karte ho.. par iss behen ji mai tumhe kya dikh gaya

Karan (angrily): Sanaya.. mind your language.. Preeta k khilaaf mai ekk shabd nahi sununga

Shanaya: Ohh common Karan baby.. aisi hazar ladkiya mil jayengi tumhe.. tumhe iss behen ji mai interest lene ki koi jarurat nahi hai.. (Preeta looked down with tears) (to Preeta) aur tum.. koi handsome aur ameer ladka dekha nahi ki peeche pad gayi.. tum jaisi ladkiya

Karan (shouts angrily): Shut up (Shanaya flinched) (to Preeta) Preeta tum..

Before he could complete Preeta left from there tearfully.. he glared at Shanaya angrily

Karan (angrily): Mil gayi tumhe shanti.. dekho ekk baat kaan khol kar sunn lo.. mai tumhara boyfriend nahi hu.. mera peecha chhod do.. tumhare wajah se aaj Preeta upset ho gayi.. woh roh rahi thi.. kya keh rahi thi tum ki Preeta ki tarah mujhe bohot ladkiya mil jayengi? Preeta sirf ekk hai.. usme Jo hai naa.. woh tum mai kabhi nahi ho sakta.. and stay away from me and Preeta

Saying this he left from there but not before glaring her

Shanaya: God.. iss Karan ko ho kya gaya hai.. aisa bhi kya hai uss behen ji mai.. jo uske peeche pagal ho gaya hai yeh.. aisa nahi chalega.. mujhe kuch katna padega.. warna mai Karan ko humesa k liye kho dungi

Karan looked at Preeta who was with Mishti.. he immediately went towards her

Preeta looked at him and glared at him

Preeta (sternly): Kya kar rahe ho tum yaha?

Karan: Preeta dekho meri baat suno

Preeta: Tumhari girlfriend ne already bohot suna diya hai.. abb tum kya suna naa chahte ho?

Karan: Preeta tum uski baato ko serious matt lo.. woh pagal hai.. aur.. aur she is not my girlfriend

Mishti: Woh jo bhi hai.. usne meri dii ki insult ki hai.. jiska usko koi haq nahi

Karan: Mai jaanta hu.. aur.. mai uski taraf se maafi bhi mangta hu but...

Preeta: Mujhe tum jaise jhoothe se koi maafi nahi chahiye.. samjhe!! (To Mishti) chal Mishti.. ghar chalte hai

Saying this she helds Mishti's hand and left from there
