4: Angels
You had awoken suddenly, the memory of your human life entering your dreams. It was something you didn't really want to remember. You pushed over the coffin cover gently, letting it to fall to the floor lightly. You sat up in a red satin night gown, holding your head as if trying to remove the dream from your thoughts.
"Tch." You said as you forced yourself up. You looked up to see Alucard still sleeping in his throne like chair, which you found completely odd cause Alucard was always awake before you. You headed towards the sleeping vampire, maybe he was pretending.
You stopped in front of him, a gentle expression on his face, and you knew why. He was indeed still sleeping. You stared at him with curious eyes as you leaned near his face. To you, it was a gift to see Alucard in such a gentle state. He wasn't smirking, or had a lust for blood in his eyes. It was peaceful look to him, something you enjoyed. You continued to stare at him as if studying him. Until he had suddenly opened his eyes, you jumped slightly aback. Then noticed that he was crying, not water, but blood. However, he didn't take any notice to your presence in front of him. You watched as he placed a gloved hand on his face, the tips of fingers touching his eyes, and staining the tips. You continued to watch as a small drop fell onto the palm of his hand.
"Dreaming. It was just a dream." Alucard assured himself tiredly, and then slowly growled at the thought. "It was nothing."
"If it was nothing, why are you dreaming of it?" You asked curiously, yet playfully as you stood in front of him. Finally, Alucard had taken notice of your presence. Alucard looked at you up and down. Gazing at the satin that hugged your figure so gently. It was a low v-neck, and the night gown was short itself, only about mid thighs. The "v" part of the night gown, as well as the edge of the it was nicely sewn with red lace, and the straps thin. It may have been a rather plain night gown, but it was quite attractive to Alucard.
"I do not have control of what I dream." Alucard finally answered.
"Is that so?" You asked suspiciously as you walked back to your coffin. Alucard was King of Vampires, you really doubted there was nothing he could control. You gently picked up the cover of your coffin, and gently placed it on top as you bent over.
"You're giving me a hard on my dear Draculina." Alucard said with a smirk on his face. You quickly stood up and turned around as you pulled down your night gown from behind. "Nice view." Alucard said once again, confusing you a bit. You followed Alucard's low angled eyes, and looked down at yourself. You had pulled down your nightgown a bit to low, causing the gown to show a bit more of your breast then it's supposed too.
If you could blush, your face be as red as your night gown. You quickly pulled up the front of your nightgown, restoring it to it's original form, the way you had been wearing it.
"Why are you staring in the first place?" You asked annoyed as the blood that heated up your cheeks, the feeling wouldn't leave.
"Such beauty's always attract attention." Alucard said with a smirk.
"Yet flattery will get you nowhere." You said with a smirk. "Now leave. I need to change." You said as you turned from Alucard, and towards your closet.
"Now why would I want to leave the comfort of my own room?" Alucard asked as he appeared back on his throne, his chair now facing your backside.
"Because you share the comfort of your room with me. So leave." You replied threateningly as you quickly took off your nightgown and threw it into the closet. However, you had thought that your lil threat had shooed Alucard away. Too bad Alucard always found you quite amusing when your angry or annoyed.
You stood in your panty as you searched for your clothes. Alucard couldn't help but smirk at your red lace panty, it may have not been a thong, but it was quite attractive to him. When you had found your corsetted top, you quickly slipped it on, then grabbed your pants and slipped it on. You grabbed your belt and wrapped it around your waist, then grabbed your second one and quickly place it on diagonally. You then grabbed your boots, and easily slipped it on. Then grabbed your jacket before closing the closet and turning around, only to see a grinning Alucard.
"Don't you have something better to do then watch me change?" You asked aggravated.
"Even if I did, I would have stayed and watched." Alucard said playfully. You simply growled at Alucard's response, unable to think of a comeback. Without a word to Alucard, you simply walked through the walls of the room. Alucard would probably read your mind later and figure out where you were going.
You were off missions for awhile since Alucard was taking Seras now for training experience. However, she still refused to drink blood. You didn't find it strange though. You as well had refused to drink blood the first couple of days. Which had resulted in you having to leave Alucard and train on your own. Since Seras refused to drink blood, it was the reason you were outside with Walter in the evening getting a coffin that was filled with soil.
"Walter you can easily do this yourself. You don't need me." You complained to Walter as you carried the heavy coffin behind you, Walter walking in front leading you to Seras' room.
"Ahh, if I was much younger yes. But I am in my old age now." Walter replied with a gentle smile.
"I won't fall for the same trick again Walter." You replied annoyed.
"You mean like how you did just now Lil Angel?" Walter asked teasingly. You paused for a moment thinking about what he just said.
"WALTER!"
You dropped the coffin to the ground in Seras' room just as she walked in.
"Kai." Seras seriously as if she tried to stop herself from freaking out, looking at the coffin.
"Don't ask me. Ask Walter." You said simply shrugging your shoulders. Not being the one to be the target of Seras' outburst of cries and freaking out.
"Walter." Seras rather aggitated. "What the hell is this, thing!?!?"
"That thing your referring to is a coffin." Walter answered calmly, causing you to slap your head in annoyance at Walter's obvious answer.
"I know. Why is there a coffin in my bedroom?" Seras as she glared down at Walter, causing him to shift over slightly.
"Oh, it's here on orders from Sir Integra. We can't have a vampire who doesn't sleep in a coffin." Walter answered a bit hesitant. "So there you are."
"What have you done with my bed?"
"I had it disposed of, of course." Walter replied as he stepped fairly back, and bowed slightly. Seras only looked more in annoyance, and then a long silent moment.
"AAAARRRRAAAGGGHHH!" Seras seemed to yell through gritted teeth. "WALTER!" Seras screamed just how you always screamed for him. Walter stared at Seras with a rather shocked and disturbed look as Seras growled with gritted teeth.
"Fine. If it helps. The orders were confirmed by Alucard as well." Walter answered calmly.
"Master." Seras replied, calming her down instantly.
"That was easy..." You said surprised that she calmed down so easily.
"Yes. Since your still refusing to drink blood like a proper vampire, you will slowly become weaker. You must now sleep in a coffin filled with the soil of your birth place. This smallest of consessions is the only way to keep up your strength." Walter advised Seras, rather creepily. Seras only looked down to the floor sadly.
"I take is your still feeling, uncomfortable with the situation?" Walter asked slightly worried about Seras.
"You are an idiot." A deep voice from the door announced, causing Seras to gulp loudly.
"Master." Seras said fearfully, unsure if she will get in trouble again.
"You chose the night. Once you've turned your back on the light of the day, all the sunlight should immune to you is smouldering pain and a slow death." Alucard said, causing Seras to feel rather guilty. Alucard only smirked as he stepped into the room.
"Good evening Alucard, I have something very special I was hoping to show you." Walter said as he placed his hand on a black suitcase on the side table.
Alucard opened the suitcase, a joyful smirk on his face as he looked at the all black gun laying inside. It was the new gun he had asked Walter to make him.
"Ohh, what is this?" Alucard asked amused as you tried to tippy toe yourself over Alucard's shoulder to see the gun. Unfortunately for you, you were the only height of 5'8, with your boots you were 5'10. But Alucard was standing at the height of 6'3 or taller. There was no way you could possibly see over his shoulder. So you grabbed a hold of Alucard's broad shoulders, and pulled yourself up, leaning over his shoulder so you could see the new gun that Alucard had received.
"The Jackal." Walter replied, getting Alucard more excited about his gun as he pulled it out. Walter began to explain the gun as Alucard loaded the gun.
"It's perfection Walter." Alucard said with a grin as he held his gun up.
"I'm pleased that your pleased Sir." Walter said with a slight bow.
"I bet this beauty can even stop Father Anderson dead in his tracks." Alucard said as he took another look at his gun. Once again, Alucard took no notice to you hanging form his shoulder as he moved around, apparently he was a too occupied at the moment with his new toy.
"Oh my gosh Master, that's amazing!" As Seras as well admired the gun excitedly.
'Ms. Victoria, I believe I have something special for you as well." Walter said as he turned around once again. Seras turned quickly to Walter, her expression on her face still excited.
"The Harkonnen. A 30 mm anti- freak canon." Walter introduced it as she he then began to give a description of the massive canon. You watched in rather awe as Seras was presented with such a massive weapon, compared to yours, Seras' weapon would make a much bigger boom.
"OOooooooOOOOooooooOOOOoooo" Seras said as she pointed at the gun, her eyes wide in shock, and her body shivering in nervousness. You couldn't help but let out a small giggle as you climbed down from Alucard, only to have him smirk at you, then press his lips against your cheek. Which for some reason, you didn't seem to mind. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!" Seras finally yelled out.
You couldn't help but let out another laugh at Seras reaction. You found her reactions quite adorable, as well as amusing. You knew Seras is a powerful girl, yet she herself kept denying such things even though she knows she is able to carry it freely with just one hand.
"Miss Kagami." Walter had said gently as his voice stopped you from laughing. You looked at him rather innocently for a moment, causing Alucard to smirk at your expression. It was the same expression Alucard had seen on your face, when you had first woken up as a new vampire. "Do you think I would forget my Lil Angel?" Walter asked teasingly once again.
"But you already upgraded my guns." You replied confused.
"Ahh, but it is not a weapon I have for you." Walter said as he placed a neatly wrapped box in front of you, a gentle smile still on his face.
"Hmm? For me?" You asked curiously as you bent down in front of the beautiful box.
"Yes. You may open it now if you wish."
Without another word, you slowly pulled the ribbon off of the box, and let it fall to it's sides. After that you had gently pulled off the top of the box, only to reveal white fabric inside the box. You gently pulled the beautiful fabric out of the box as you stood up. You stared at it for awhile, it was a white dress. It was a strapless dress, with a bodice that would hug your figure gently, and a short skirt that flowed out gently like a princess' dress. You hugged the dress tightly to yourself as then ran up to Walter, planting a gentle kiss upon his cheek, which he smiled at.
"Thanks Walter." You said in an almost whisper as you smiled back at him.
"You're welcome my Lil Angel." Walter said calmly as he slightly bowed towards you. You slightly bowed back as you ran out of the room to put the beautiful dress away in your closet.
"A dress?" Seras asked rather confused on why Walter would give you a dress while you and Alucard got a new weapon. "Is Kai going somewhere? And what's Lil Angel?"
"'Lil Angel' is Walter's nickname for Kai." Alucard said with a smirk, knowing that the name always seemed to suit you quite well.
"And the white dress is for when I had first met Miss Kagami. It's the reason why I call her 'Lil Angel'." Walter said with a smile. "It is true that she is quite violent child, but she is still just a child. Rather innocent."
You had ran back to the room to see that Walter was on the phone. Most likely it was with Integra.
"Ms. Victoria's room in the sub basement. I've already been brought up to speed on the situation. Outside communications have been cut off, so I wouldn't expect reinforcements for at least 4 hours, maybe 5. In the meantime our current forces have been ordered to defend the conference room with their lives." Walter said as he gently tapped that table, waiting for Integra's answer.
"What do you recommend?"
You listened in as Walter began to suggest what to do.
"We'll be there shortly. Good luck" Walter said with a smile as he hanged up the phone.
"Walter." The phone suddenly said right before Walter hanged up the phone. It was Integra, and she's serious. "These animals are eating my people. Show, NO mercy. Do not let them leave the grounds alive!"
"By your orders then, Sir Integra." Walter said with a grin as wires slightly surrounded him, just like when you had saw him when you were a kid.
"Ohh. Does Walter Dolnez the Angel of Death ride again?" Alucard asked with a grin. Typical.
"Who knew you still had it in you." You joked, knowing fully that Walter was far from being the weak old man everyone thinks of him.
"Umm, oh, ahh. Cmon." Seras said a bit confused. "What are you guys talking about?"
"You'll see soon enough." Alucard replied.
"Put the veteran and the rookie together, and you might as well have one normal soldier." Walter said with a slight chuckle.
"That means you Seras." You said with a smile.
"Huh? Me and Walter?" Seras asked.
"Yeah. Of course I'll be with you too."You said with a smile.
"It use to be Miss Kagami and me." Walter said with a smile as you stood beside Walter.
"The Angel of Death, and the Lil Angel." Alucard teased, using the name that Walter uses. You only turned your head slightly and growled at him.
"Well, this is could actually end up being fun." Alucard said as he disappeared through the wall, going his won way most likely.
"Makes you wonder doesn't it. If there are any normal people around here." Seras said she had a mixture of annoyance, aggravation, shock on her face. You once again, let out a small laugh at Seras' comment.
End.
