[Yuri On Ice]
Chapter 2
"I still don't get it," Viktor said to Yuri after they left the house.
"What do you want to see me as?"
Yuri looked at Viktor. "I don't know, my coach?"
Viktor gave a disapproving look. "Coach is not on the list. What should I be to you? A friend? An enemy? A relative?"
Yuri couldn't decide but he had a feeling in his heart. All Yuri wanted was for Viktor to be there for him. "I don't know."
Viktor turned to Yuri and gave him a sneaky look. "Your lover?"
Instead of saying, 'W-What!? No!?' Yuri replied with, "I don't know."
Viktor looked at Yuri with thoughtful eyes.
Viktor peeked away and said, "let's get good luck charms!"
"We can even design some!" Viktor exclaimed excitedly when they were in the shop.
Yuri was working on designing his. Viktor was too.
"This will be perfect for Yuri," Viktor murmured.
After minutes of working in silence, Viktor exclaimed happily, "I'm done! I made it just for you!"
Yuri's face turned red. "I'm sorry, I didn't know it was for each other."
Viktor's face was a pleasant smile. "That's okay. You'll have to give me yours."
"Just wait until I'm done." Yuri got back to working on it.
Viktor decided not to look until Yuri gave it to him.
"Here." Yuri gave Viktor the charm.
Viktor smiled and said, "Yuri, it's a beautiful pork cutlet bowl!"
Yuri realized he never looked at the charm Viktor gave to him. The charm said, 'Yuri!!!! On Ice!' The crowd was there and there was a little version of Yuri skating on the ice.
"What do you think?" Viktor asked.
Yuri sniffed. "I love it, Viktor!" He hugged Viktor tight.
Viktor hugged Yuri back. Then, the awkward silence came.
Yuri stuttered, "w-we should pay for these and visit somewhere else."
Viktor agreed and went.
****
Yuri pulled his coat tighter as it started to snow.
Viktor noticed he was shivering. "Here's my scarf."
Yuri's face became bright red but he didn't say anything.
Viktor became cold with out his scarf, but he didn't regret giving it to Yuri. I would shiver the rest of my life as long Yuri is warm, Viktor thought.
Viktor spotted a restaurant. "Let's eat," he said.
Viktor picked up speed and stared to run to the shop.
"Wait for me!" pleaded Yuri as he started to run too.
Viktor gave Yuri a smile. "It's warm in here, Yuri."
Yuri smiled back. "It is."
They ordered a table and sat down.
"They have pork cutlet bowls here," Yuri said looking at the menu.
Viktor looked up. "Let's order them."
Viktor yawned. He rested his head in Yuri's shoulder.
Agh! Viktor!!, Yuri's mind screamed. Yuri was embarrassed, but he liked the feeling of being around him, even the night before.
Yuri relaxed. Yuri placed his hand on Viktor's forehead and realized that it was insanely hot. "Viktor, I think you're sick," Yuri said. Viktor didn't wake up.
"Viktor!" Yuri said a little louder.
"What?" Viktor asked in a woozy voice.
Yuri sighed and said, "I don't think you should've given me your scarf, you're sick."
Viktor didn't look at all worried. "Can we at least stay for the cutlet bowls?"
Viktor wasn't sneezing and coughing every where so Yuri replied with, "Okay."
"They're fantastic!" Viktor exclaimed.
Yuri didn't even focus on what Viktor was saying. Yuri was too worried about Viktor being sick.
Yuri ate his dish with out saying a word.
Yuri looked up at Viktor and said in a stern voice, "Viktor, we are heading home after this. You're sick and you need to rest."
"Sure," Viktor said. He was so nonchalant about everything.
After they got home, Viktor's forehead became even hotter.
"Here, you should rest." Yuri was tucking Viktor into bed.
"Thank you, Yuri," Viktor said smiling.
In the hallway, Yuri smiled to himself. Viktor was happy no matter what. Then, Yuri got a flashback of that morning. "Please don't go, Yuri, I beg of---"
Yuri looked confused. "What is going on?"
Later, Yuri came in to check on Viktor.
"Viktor, I made some-----"
As Yuri walked closer, Viktor snatched Yuri with his shirt causing the soup to spill on the floor.
Yuri's heart was beating fast. "V-Viktor!"
The room was dim and you could see that Viktor was still sleepy and sick. Viktor pulled Yuri closer into a kiss and and their lips finally touched.
Yuri wanted to give in, but he pulled back. "V-Viktor, stop!"
He ran out of the room, but Viktor didn't go after Yuri.
After a while, Yuri entered the room. When he saw Viktor, he turned bright red. Don't freak out, don't freak out, Yuri's thoughts repeatedly said.
"Why are you so red?" Viktor looked like he didn't remember what happened.
"Um, I--- uh, it's hot.." Yuri decided not to tell Viktor the truth. That would be embarrassing.
Viktor's expression relaxed. "Can you make a new bowl of soup?"
"Of course," Yuri said, succeeding at not stuttering.
"Here, Viktor." Yuri placed the bowl on the little table beside Viktor.
Viktor was sleeping but Yuri decided not to wake him up.
I'm still shocked, Yuri thought.
Yuri laid on the couch.
He's my coach, he thought. This means nothing. Can it? Oh no, Yuri, don't think like that!
Yuri started breathing heavily. I need to relax myself, he said.
He closed his eyes and soon, he drifted off to sleep.
"Hey, Yuri!" Viktor's face was right in Yuri's.
Yuri moved and scrambled out of the couch. "V-Viktor!"
"I'm feeling better!" Viktor was ignoring the fact that Yuri was red.
"Oh, good." Yuri put on a fake smile.
After what Viktor did....no. I shouldn't think about that. He didn't know and I should ignore it. ..............
"Plus, I feel that you say my name like that way too often," Viktor continued.
"It's getting late," Viktor said. "Should we have another sleep over??"
