Chapter 2
Fast forward to the present.
Daniel was in high school now. He's 16 and a A-B student. He's not popularly as usual. He was grabbing his stuff out his locker when a scene unfolded in the hallway. He looked to see what was all this commotion. He saw two seniors they both looked like they got held back a year. And he saw Jessica, who was also 16 now. And as you know from before she was dragged away back in eighth grade. They haven't spoken since actually. Her friends had made sure of it. Daniels obsession has advanced from attempting conversation to taking pictures, and taking more pictures to killing anyone who bothered her. He's also killed 3 pervs the last semester. No regrets whatsoever, it makes him more into Jessica because of the dedication he's putting into this.
Daniel had got a clear image of the two guys. Blonde boy and Short boy. "So you got any plans later?" Blonde boy asked. They looked musty and had greasy hair. Jessica scrunched her nose in disgust. "Yea I've got plans, I gotta be home after school, sorry guys I'm busy" She said this obviously to get them off her ass. They didn't take the hint of course. "Oh cmon hang with us later we'll give you a good time" short boy winked. If sewage water and human wastes were human these guys would be it. "Sorry but I can't and I don't want to" Jessica said more sternly. She was uncomfortable but these guys wouldn't go away. "So? W-" RING! The bell had rang for 1st period and home room.
"Catch ya later sweetness" Blonde boy said. "Yea I hope not" Jessica said as she walked away. As disgusting as they were they were watching her and checking her out as she went into class. Daniel slammed his locker shut. Who do they think they are??!? What authority do they have? NOTHING!! ONLY I CAN HAVE JESSICA IN THAT WAY!!! Dan thought as he started heavily breathing. He calmed down and started for his classroom.
He didn't need to really pay attention history was kinda easy. So instead he pulled out his journal which looks like ones you'd keep secrets about your crush and how your days went in a normal book. But this was his official murder journal. If anyone found this he'd be ruined, done for. Daniel started planning out where when and how this was gonna play out. All of this was happening today just so you know. "That's should be it" Daniel mumbled to himself.
Not much after the bell rang. Daniel gathering his belongings and started towards the gym. It's not like he didn't like gym but he didn't like gym. Sweaty teens who don't wear deodorant is a nose hell. Dan HAD to wear a gym uniform as it was apart of the school rules. It's also the beginning of the year if you didn't know. Not even a week in and Daniels regretting not changing his schedule. There's one reason why this class was chosen. Jessica has also been in this class. Now Dan probably doesn't know this but Jessica has tried to get at least a word of conversation in with Daniel within these few years. And gym class was about to help. None of her friends had this class either. And since it's week one it's basically free time for a whole period.
Daniel did what he usually does during this time. Pulls out his drawing book and started sketching stuff. He's been more into drawing when he killed his first victim. Sometimes a photo won't do so he'll take a mental image of the aftermath and sketch it into his book. Obviously there's two different books and that ones in his room. His mother even recommended that he go pro because he's go good. But as he stated before he wants to fulfill what his dad has been doing. Killing the people who deserve it. And killing them in creative ways.
Jessica had finished getting changed when she re-entered the gym. She was looking around for a idea or something to do while time passed. Because like said before her friends didn't get this class because it filled up before they got a chance. Jessica scanned the bleachers in luck of finding someone to talk too. Her eyes landed on Daniel. Oh my god, is this fate? Jessica thought. Daniel was in the middle of drawing a small portrait of his family. Which consisted of: Daniel, his mom, and his dad. Daniel does have younger siblings but they are in middle school and they also live with their aunt in the next state over.
Jessica was headed right in his direction. Normally Dan would notice her actions but when he's drawing, there's nothing to focus on but the picture in front of him. He had his stuff with him so he propped his feet up on his bag. Which also blocked his view of where Jessica was coming from. Jessica was getting closer but the closer she got the more her heart started to beat faster. She was nervous about talking to him. She had hoped he didn't hate her for not talking to him since the first day of 8th grade. They both had gotten more mature. Like for one Daniel grew his curls out down to his ears. That's usually where he's get it trimmed. He also got a undercut, pretty cool. Once again his freckles spread more across his body. He had also gotten more muscular for obvious reasons.
And Jessica on the other hand had grown her hair a bit longer. She'd gotten taller, and her body matured. It was obvious she was becoming a woman. She had little to no clue that Dan was stalking her. No one did, except his mom of course. Jessica climbed the bleachers and sat down next to Daniel. He didn't notice it right away. Until she tapped his shoulder. "H-hey Danny. Do you remember me?" She said. Dans hand stop moving. He hasn't looked up from his drawing yet because he couldn't actually believe what was happening. He didn't know whether to play dumb or say the casual 'I sorta remember you' thing. He chose option 2 btw.
"Oh uh Jessica was it? I sorta remember you I think. Was it 8th grade? Or 9th? When we met" Dan said with a smile. Jessica who thankfully didn't see through this sighed in relief as she thought he'd forgotten her. "Oh thank god you didn't forget me! I've been wanted to talk to you for a while now Danny, how've you been?" She stated with excitement. Danny had put a marker on the drawing and sat it in his book bag. "I've been ok just chilling by myself the usual" he said casually. He laughed knowing it was a lie once again. But not knowing anything of it Jessica laughed with him. "I'm sorry we couldn't talk these past few years, especially after what had happened. I never really apologized you know?" Jessica looked kinda embarrassed. "It's all cool Jessica your friends didn't like me and that's ok with me they don't have to like me, so don't apologize for that situation. It's normal really" Dan said. Once again looking relieved he wasn't mad, Jessica started up a conversation which switched topics as they went on.
It was edging to the end of gym and the start of lunch. And knowing she got lucky this period, she knew she couldn't talk to him at lunch. Not with her friends around. "Well uh before I go get changed uh. Can I like I don't know have your number so we can talk more?" She said while her face turned red. Dan couldn't let her see his phone, his Lock Screen was Jessica sleeping from the night before. "My phones kinda dead sorry, I'll write you my number though give me a second" Dan said covering his lie AGAIN. He didn't like lying to her, he wanted to have her all to herself and all these lies would probably push her away. So he took a page from his notebook for whatever class and wrote his number down on it, folded it, and put it in her pocket.
It wasn't his intention to be so bold it kinda just happened. Jessica looked a bit shocked. "See ya later Jessica! I gotta go change, and you do too let's hurry so we won't be late." Danny said wrapping up this reunion. "Oh yea for sure I'll text you when schools over ok?" She said holding her pinky out. Dan hesitated before taking her pinky with his. Just as soft as before Dan thought. "I'll be waiting" he said jokingly, but he actually didn't mean it as a joke. He actually wanted the day to end right at that moment. Jessica walked away smiling like she had just won the lottery. She put her hand in her pocket feeling the paper and smile even brighter. They both headed to the locker rooms, changed and went on with the rest of their day.
Daniel entered the lunch room 15 minutes later. He had looked around for an empty take or seat or somewhere he didn't have to talk to anyone. He found a table that was somewhat dirty but he wiped off a section for his stuff and his lunch. His mom made him lunch today, he had gotten a sandwich with an ice pack to balance out the heat so it didn't go bad. He also had gotten Doritos and a sprite along with a water bottle. "Thank you mom" he mumbled. As he ate he noticed a few things. The guys from earlier were walking around searching for something or someone. And when they found Jessica, even her friends were disgusted, they started up the constant harassment. Daniels boiling blood just got even more hot. He wants to whip out his knife and end it all right there. But his plan was too perfect to waste.
For the rest of the day went exactly as planned because at the end of the day he knew what was coming. The two seniors were back again. And Jessica was trying to get packed up as fast as possible. He wouldn't do anything in the school. He would simply wait for the two guys to follow her outside, and when she finally gets them away from her, he would attack. Of course it wasn't just any attack. He'd perform a professional assassination on two guys. So as he was following the guys as they left Jessica alone, they headed into a alley. Not my style but perfect I guess Dan said. There were no windows or cameras in this area. The guys were talking about how they were gonna go to Jessica's house unannounced and force her to invite them in. Sick fucks, only I GET TO GO OVER HER HOUSE not you ME ME ME AND ONLY ME Dan thought with rage. He had two sharp knives. The guys had stopped and put their bags on the ground. They pulled out spray paint. And started tagging the wall.
They were so busy doing it they didn't notice Daniel creeping up behind him. Daniel had a poncho on which he put on with gloves so he can dispose of the poncho after the blood gets on it. He raised the knives and to strike both in the head. They last thing they ever saw was the unfinished paint job. Blood splattered all over the poncho.
"Good job intuition" Daniel said before gathering his weapons and disposing everything but the knives and gloves. He had cut through the city to the woods back to his house. "Mom I'm home!" He yelled hoping for a response. He was hungry, murder can really get an appetite going. Oh yea she responded. Daniel had taken a photo of his victims. He showed it to his mom proudly. "Oh my god! Good job sweetheart, I'm so proud of you. And you are spotless!?" She said amazed. "Can you help me wash the blood off my knives? I nee-" ding.
Daniels phone had rang. It was a text message from an unknown number. It saying exactly "Hey I hope this gets to the right person, but it's me Jessica and I hope this is Danny reading this" Daniels eyes filled with excitement. "MOM LOOK SHE TEXTED ME!!" He said and his mom rushed over. As she did he got another message. It said "Remember? I was gonna text you when I got home, I kept my promise haha" Daniels mom squealed. "Ok chill mom it's not THAT big of a deal" he had added her number into his phone under the contact name: ❤️Mines and mines only❤️
He texted her back giving her the heads up that it was him. His mom went on and was he's the knives and started dinner.
Danny and Jessica texted for the rest of the evening. They had a wonderful time with each other. "Sorry to ruin the fun Danny but I gotta go" she said. Daniel was dissatisfied with that but still maintaining his emotions. He responded with "Aw that's too bad I'll text you tomorrow if you aren't busy" She sent a heart back and his heart exploded. She was going to be his, he guaranteed it. And he wasn't giving up until every rival was out of his way, even if it means to kill her family or close friends.
He just wanted her to himself, what more could a guy ask for?
The end of chapter 2 hehe adios
