Unknown:Goodbye without reason is the most painful one..

Janvi's POV_

"I've talked to dad about us, our marriage." Mike said with a gloomy expression on his face, which was scaring the hell out of me.

"What did he say?" I asked in a small voice.

"He doesn't approve of this relationship." He said in the same tone as me. That was it. I broke down in tears. He wrapped his arms around me and hugged me tightly.

"Shh!" He tried to calm me down but the tears just wouldn't stop.

"I love you so much Mike! I can't live without you!" I said as I buried my in his chest. He kissed me on top my head.

"I love you too! I'll stop breathing the moment you wont be my side." He said. We kept sitting in that position until I pulled.

"What should we do?" I said as I wiped off the tears from his face.

"I think your dad should talk to my dad. Maybe he will agree then." He said and I nodded. And then again he pulled me into his arms, which was now the moat peaceful place in this whole wide world for me.

"Everything's gonna be ok." He whispers into my ear.

I pace around the main door, waiting for dad. Finally the main door opens and dad comes in with a not so happy face.

"What happened dad? What did they say?" I asked quickly. Dad sits on the couch.

"Beta.." Dad lets out a sigh, not making any eye to eye contact with me. My throat went dry.

"They are not ready for this marriage." Dad says slowly. My whole world starts to crumble down. My legs gave up and I collapsed on the floor.

"Beta, it's going to be okay." Dad hugs me tightly as I cry silently.

Nothing's gonna be okay. Ever.

Few days became few weeks since that incident. I was still a wreck. I had not stepped out of my room, nor I recieived any calls from Mike.

What's the use? It will only cause me more pain.

I looked out of my window. It was raining cats and dogs. I wiped the fresh tears from my eyes, as the door abruptly opened. A soaked up Mike came into my view. I fought back the urge to run and hug him. I kept standing in my place still as he made his way towards me.

"Why aren't you reiceving any of my calls?" He asked, coming dangerously close to me. There was once again tears in my eyes.

"Its better if we stop contacting each other." I said not making any eye to eye contact.

"Please dont say that. I love you." I looked up from my feet to see his crying silently.

I couldn't hold it anymore. I ran to him and hugged him tightly.

"I love you too!" I said.

"Then marry me." He said. I pulled out and looked at him with a confused look.

"What?" I asked, dumbfounded.

"Marry me!" He says again.

"Lets get married tomorrow, at the registrar's office." He said.

"But what about our parents?" I asked.

"I've talked to your dad already. He has agreed and about my parents, they will have no option but to accept us after marriage!" He said with hope in his eyes.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes!" He exclaims. He tooks my ring and slips a ring in my ring finger.

"I love you!" He says as he plants a soft peck on my lips.

"I love you too!"

I woke up at 6 am. I was ecstatic. Finally! I will be with Mike, my love. I'll be able to take claim him with the right. Our love story was the most hatke!

Today, I want to thank That Air Voice Khatara, The air Voice company and mostly Mr. Sanjay Singhania.

I went to the bathroom and took a  long warm and soothing bath. I got out in a towel. I opened my cupboard and took out my mom's saree. there was not much embroidery. It was simple banarasi red saree with golden ends. I wore the traditional bengali wedding jewellery. I put on some make up and finished my look with a red bindi  in the middle of my eyebrows. I looked at the clock, it was almost 11 am. Time flied so quickly. I put on my shoes and ran down stair to see him clad in a tuxedo. He was looking very handsome.

"Janvi, you are looking exactly like your mother!" Dad said with admiration in his eyes.

"Thank you so much dad!" I said.

We reached the registrar's office in half an hour. I went inside with dad. But Mike wasn't there.

"Don't worry! Janu! We are here early! Maybe mike is only got up to take a shower!" Dad joked to ease up my nervousness. I smiled at dad and nodded.

It was now 3 pm and Mike still didn't reach.

"Mike must be on his way! Dont worry!" Dad said. I nodded but my heart was saying otherwise. I went outside the office to see if he was coming or not. I dialed his number but it was off.

"It's time to close the office. Please you have to go now." The clerk said to us. It was 6pm and Mike still didn't show up. I was heartbroken and afraid at the same time. Heart broken because what if he stood me up, just because he didnt wanted marry me and afraid because what if his dad got to know about this and refrained him coming here.

"Janvi..do you wanna go Mike's house?" Dad asked. I nodded not saying anything.

Soon we reached their house. Dad told me wait outside and went inside. Dad rang bell the calling bell. I was right next ti him. Soon a man opened his door.

"What are you doing here?" Mike's dad asked my dad.

"I wanted to ask, where is Mike?" Dad asked.

"He left for the USA this morning." His dad said. I was shocked and hurt. I was numb for a moment. I wasn't feeling anything.

Dad thanked mike's dad and we went to the car. Without saying anything I got into the car.

"Janvi..." dad let out a sigh. I burst into tear. I kept crying until there in no more tears left to fall.

"Dad...Do you why goodbyes hurts? Its because people say it when you least expect it!" I sobbed. Dad pulled me into a tight hug as I cried in his shoulder.

I was shocked, heartbroken but I still knew that I loved him and more importantly I trusted him.

Days went by and I waited for his call. After 3 Days,  his friend, james called me.

Akash's POV_

"what did james say?" I asked her. She looked away as I noticed her eyes welled up.

"Mike comitted suicide.." she said as some tears fell from her eyes.
