53rd day:

In the car with Misa and Mr. Yagami

"Honestly, I never pictured you as an old man, Mr. stalker," Misa told Mr. Yagami.

"I am not your stalker, I'm a detective with the NDA," Mr. Yagami spoke.

"I remember now! You told me I was arrested for being the second Kira. You mean that was for real? " Misa asked.

"No way, you're a stalker. There's no way the police would tie me up all fetishy like that. Anyway, it's kinda weird that you have my hands and feet tied up even though you're planning to let me go," Misa said.

"Please, just keep quiet." Mr. Yagami sighed.

'Maybe N/n would be better for my son' Mr. Yagami caught himself unconsciously thinking

Mr. Yagami drove his car near Light.

"Light!" Misa hugs Light

"Misa?!" Light greets Misa

"Oh I missed you so much, Light!" Misa yelled, hugging Light

"Dad, tell me what's all this about?!" Light asked his dad

"Oh my god! I called your dad a stalker and all sorts of mean names! Sorry. I'm Misa Amane. " Misa bows while greeting Mr. Yagami

"They're all yours, chief," Mr. Aizawa said as he handed Light over.

"Let's go, get in the car," Mr. Yagami says coldly.

The car took a detour from where it originally went in the story. The car went to the hotel to pick you up.

"N/n!" Both Misa and Light yell excitedly.

"Hey guys!" you greet them.

"I was starting to think I'd never get out of there, but it feels good to finally be clear." Light sighed in relief.

"👀" You said

"What?" Misa asked 

"How'd you do that?" Light was clearly confused.

"Do what?" You ask.

"Say an expression with your voice," Light asked.

'Y/n is already going off script' L sighs with a soft smile, entertained by your antics.

"Enough! To respond to you Light... I'm afraid you three are being taken... to your execution! " Mr. Yagami yelled

"Huh?!" Everyone yells in shock.

Mr. Yagami continued, "I wanted to be the one to escort you to an underground facility far from here."

"Execution?!" Misa yells

"What the hell are you talking about?!" Light asks angrily.

"We didn't do anything!" Misa yelled.

"What the hell did I do?" You yelled, once again going off the script.

The script L gave you was simple; respond and act shocked and scared, not angry.

I won't act scared yet. I kind of want to let my anger out on Mr. Yagami first.

"L is convinced that the only way we can prevent the murders is to execute the three of you." Mr. Yagami responded, solemnly.

"I don't understand. The killings have already stopped! " Light refuted

"That's not true. L was trying to get a confession out of you... they wanted Kira to disappear, no trial, no publicity," Mr. Yagami said.

"Dad, I'm not Kira!" Light yelled

"You can ask N/n, she knows the story, right?" Light yelled, shaking your shoulders.

You look down at his hands.

How long has it been since they've been washed? Did they wash his hands for him?

"Listen, you keep implicating me. Shut up." You roll your eyes.

He's lucky. I'm being neutral. Imagine if his Kira persona heard this.

"What kind of a father are you anyway? This is your own son you're talking about." Misa yelled.

"L made this decision, and his word is absolute." Mr. Yagami said

"...This will do" Mr. Yagami stopped driving

"Looks like there's nobody around to see us out here... I've decided it would be better for us if I brought you here instead of the execution site. " Mr. Yagami started

"Listen to me, I'm going to kill you here and then myself!" Mr. Yagami yelled

"What are you talking about?!" Light yelled

"Why don't you kill yourself? If you do this, you're no different than Kira! I can't believe you'd kill your only son for L! " Misa yelled.

"I'd kill myself for L," you whisper

Light, Misa, Mr. Yagami, and even L (through the cameras) looked at you in disbelief.

"N/N" The people in the car yell

(Sorry, this was the first thing that came to mind when I wrote that. I hope a few people get the reference)

"Ahem!" Mr. Yagami draws the attention back to him, but not before sending you a warning glare.

"I am nothing like Kira! I am bound by my responsibility as a father and the chief of the NDA, "Mr. Yagami announced.

"Amane, N/n, can't you see I'm going to die here with my son? There is no reason to kill you. Do you understand what I'm saying? " Mr. Yagami started off his speech

"It's only a matter of time before the police locate this car, then they'll transport you two to the original site and execute you there." Mr. Yagami says,

You start to tear up. Water droplets fall from your eyes.

"Please don't do this." You start to shake violently

I told L that if I do a good job, he should give me $2K; otherwise, this is so embarrassing.

Light looks over at you helplessly.

"At least don't do this in front of them," Light says, looking down in defeat.

This?? didn't?? happen??

"No" Mr. Yagami says flatly

Mr. Yagami didn't want to admit it, but once he heard you would be acting alongside him, he didn't know if you would give a convincing performance. If it weren't for the situation, he would have praised you.

*Click*

"Light, my son, from one murder to another, I'll see you in hell!"

"No dad!!" Light yells.

"No, stop it!" Misa yelled.

You sat there, fiddling with your fingers.

*Click*

"...You used a blank..." Light said, confused.

"Thank goodness," Mr. Yagami sighed.

"Thank goodness!?" Light inquired, completely lost.

"I don't understand?" Misa and Light asked

"I know it was difficult for you, but it was the only way to get you out of prison," I said.I only agreed to do this because I believed in your innocence, Light. " Mr. Yagami sighed.

"Are you watching Ryuzaki? I did as you said, and as you can see, I'm still alive, "Mr. Yagami told L

"Yes, that was a convincing performance. If Amane was the second Kira who only needed the person's face to kill them, there's no doubt she would've killed you... Also, if Light was Kira, the Kira I know wouldn't hesitate to kill his father to save himself, "L announced.

"You bastard, what about N/n? Did you not see how scared she was?! Why did you get her involved? " Light yelled angrily.

Oh shoot. I feel bad... at least for this innocent light.

"Would you like to tell Light how you were also involved with this set up?" L says jealously

You glare at the camera.

"N/n? Is that true? " Light asked.

"My bad, I knew the result... so I wanted to join in," you mumble.

"With Light in particular, I cannot rule out the fact that he could have seen through our act at some point. However, as we agreed, I will end their confinement immediately," L said, glossing over the fact that he might have ruined your friendship with Light

"I'm glad you're feeling better, Misa," you say, slightly guilty that her boyfriend was staring at you.

"Thank you N/n," Misa said back.

"By the way, Y/n, I would like to speak with you about the comment yo-" L stopped himself in the middle of his sentence.

He realized he used your real name... he was so used to using it when you were in confinement, he subconsciously said your real name.

"Y/n? Who's that? " Misa asked.

You held your breath, slightly shaking, not out of fear, but out of anger.

L Lawliet... don't tempt me, you seriously said my real name in front of Light Yagami... AKA KIRA

"My apologies, I mean N/n. I'd like to speak with you about the comment you made earlier," L said casually, but on the inside, he was anxious.

He's never messed up this badly before. He realized he made himself vulnerable when around you. He didn't put his guard up and let this huge secret slip. He forgot it wasn't just the two of you talking.

L knew that Light wasn't dumb enough to believe that excuse, Misa and Mr. Yagami might, but he exposed the truth to the number one suspect to be Kira. He didn't know what you would think of him afterwards.

He was afraid you would hate him, or reveal his real identity. When he saw the expression you made when he messed up, he was nervous. He's never seen you so upset before.

"No worries, I kind of need to talk to you too... I shouldn't have made that comment. There won't be a next time "you stare up at the camera, glaring for a second before putting on a smile

I guess this isn't that big of a deal... Misa and Light have no clue what my last name is, and they aren't able to see my real name. I just need to teach L a lesson about secret keeping
