After your conversation with Rem, you began to think... What was your goal?

You got transported into the world with no real plan other than to mess with the characters. Now things were going to get a lot harder.

Since you knew you would get into an argument with L soon, you needed to get out of the hotel you were in.

You prepared the money you saved from L's allowance, which he gave you. You need to find a place to stay.

You gathered all your stuff and put it into a suitcase you recently bought. You then start to look around and find a place.

After what seemed like an hour of aimlessly looking online, you found a small house that seemed sort of sketchy.

You looked up the address and called a cab.

After you were in the car for around 10 minutes, you finally arrived at your destination. It wasn't the best part of the neighborhood, to say the least.

It was livable; L wouldn't be able to locate you easily, which was what you were aiming for. You also didn't need to give that much personal information to buy it, which was also great.

After getting inside the house, you managed to haggle the price down and finally bought it. You needed to give your name, but you didn't want to. So you put N/n, along with a last name that was fake, but nobody needed to know that.

Everything has been settled...If only buying a house was this easy in the modern world.

You call yourself another cab and arrive back at the hotel. You were greeted by L, waiting in front of your door.

What the hell? Doesn't he have a job to do?

"Hello N/n, where were you?" L asked, getting straight to the point.

"Hello, I don't think that's anything you should concern yourself with," you responded, holding back your anger.

"You're now a suspect in the Kira investigation, so we can't have you going around without supervision," L told you.

"Huh? Come again? " You question

"N/n, you have been close with both Misa Amane and Light Yagami, who are suspected of being Kira. We believe you are working with the both of them. " L informed you.

"If I get charged for this, then I'd like to charge you for invasion of privacy, "you say emotionlessly."

L looks at you, slightly surprised.

You knew the charge wouldn't stick; you just wanted him to become aware that you knew he was watching you.

"I found a camera in my room. Don't tell me you thought I wouldn't notice it? " You questioned

"I've gotten permission to do so," L argued.

"My my, I found one veeerrry close to the shower." You say, teasing him

L didn't respond, he simply looked away. You noticed his cheeks getting slightly pink, but nothing overboard like you expected

Do people here really not blush that much? Isn't this an anime world?

"Ms, N/n, please answer my original question. Where were you? " L asked, changing the subject.

"Looking around town," you shrug

Before L could respond, he got a call regarding something important regarding the Kira case.

L hesitantly left, and you were glad that you weren't confined to your room like you expected. You were relieved that he didn't try to kidnap you or anything.. aha

Earlier in the morning, things were going as you said.

Rem finally believed you, since Light was giving up ownership of Misa's death note.

With Misa Amane:

"Aha, Mr. Stalker... where are you, mister?" Do you think you could stop this game?" Misa pleaded helplessly

"What's with the new attitude all of a sudden?" A task force member asked

"Mr stalker, This is illegal. You have to stop. Okay, please? " Misa begged

"Okay, how about this. You can at least take off my blindfold. It would be nice to see what you look like" Misa requested

"...What if I give you an autograph? What if I gave you a kiss on the cheek? If you want, oh please! I won't run away, I promise. " Misa tried to reason with the 'stalker'

"Misa Amane," a voice boomed out of a speaker in front of Misa Amane

"What's that, Mr. Stalker? Are you planning to release me?" Misa asked hopefully

"Before you passed out, you barely spoke. You even asked me to kill you. Now you are feigning ignorance. " L asked

"Hm? I don't understand. I mean, you're the one who knocked me out and brought me here. " Misa said.

"Oh, I get it! This is some sort of Misa Amane interrogation fantasy, right? " Misa asked.

"Do you know why I'm detaining you here? You must have some idea?" L attempted to get a reaction

"What do you mean? Because I'm a celebrity, right?" Misa was confused.

"I mean, this is the first stalker to go this far... now you're starting to scare me," Misa said fearfully

"I can't stand it anymore. Let me go! You have to let me go! I need to go to the bathroom, I have to go to the bathroom again. " Misa attempted to leave.

"It's only been 4 minutes since you've been to the bathroom. I'm afraid you'll have to hold it," the voice came from the speaker.

"You have to! It's the only time you'll untie me and let me move! You'll be able to watch. Isn't that what you want? Isn't it?

"Amane, let's get back to the conversation we were having before you lost conciseness. Do you know who Light Yagami is and, if so, why did you approach him? " L asked, getting back on track.

"Huh? What do you mean? How could I not know my own boyfriend? " Misa asked.

'She was so tight-lipped about it earlier, now she's openly admitting he's her boyfriend,' L thought.

Before L could respond, he got a phone call.

"Good timing, It's Light" L said before answering it.

"Yes... yes I understand. We'll be expecting you in room K28O1 " Light was informed by L.

"Are you saying my son is coming over here?" Mr. Yagami asked

"Yes, actually... someone call N/n, it would be best if she came here as well," L said.

Before anyone could step up, L did it himself.

*Ring, Ring*

You glanced at the phone and didn't respond.

I'll call him back later.

You shrug, paying no mind to L.. Besides, he probably wanted something regarding the Kira investigation.

L looked at his phone with a blank expression.

'She... didn't answer', L thought.

Matsuda took this opportunity and pulled out his phone.

*Ring Ri-*

"Hey Matsu! What's up?" You asked.

"H-hey N/n, we need you to come to the task force office. L needs to talk to you," Matsuda said.

You scoff.

"Sure, I'll be there." You hung up the phone and sighed.

'Why did she answer that idiot Matsuda and not me?' L reflected, perplexed by his feelings of jealousy.

Light arrived in the room and you arrived at the same time.

You walk in on quite the scene:

"Ryuzaki, like I said over the phone... I could be Kira," Light said, looking down.

You put your hand over your mouth. You managed to keep your laugh inside.

"*Gasp!* No light!" What are you talking about? Why would you even say something like that? Why!?" Light's dad asked

"Is this the same for you N/n? Do you believe you might be Kira? " L asked you with disbelief and a little mockery.

"What the hell? I just said I wasn't Kira. You already know who I am and why I'm here. How could I possibly be Kira? " You asked.

"Then, is there a possibility that you are helping Kira?" L asked

You stare at L.

"No," you responded slowly.

"Light Yagami, is N/n assisting you in this?" L requested light.

"NO," Light said loudly, surprising everyone.

"I mean, no," Light said, quieter.

"What makes you so sure? Didn't you say you didn't know if you were Kira or not? What makes you so sure that N/n isn't assisting your other self, or should I say the real you? " L asked

"I wouldn't know, but I do know that N/n isn't like that," Light said.

You stare at Light with a face full of anger.

"Light Yagami, you absolute fool. THIS MAKES ME LOOK EVEN MORE SUSPICIOUS! YOU DISAGREEING TO THAT EXTENT MAKES IT SEEM LIKE I AM HELPING YOU! " You couldn't help but get angry

"N/n, please calm down," L said.

'Is it possible that N/n is helping? Her rage seemed like it was real though' L thought

"N/n, are you able to tell us if Light is Kira? You don't have to tell us who Kira is; just tell us so we can clear Light off the suspect list. " L said, not backing down from your stare.

"I have no plans to say anything, even if it could help the investigation" You say

That's going to reveal the whole plot.

"I see" L accepts that, With your answer, that made L suspect Light even more. Why wouldn't you help a friend who was suspected of a crime? Unless they really did it. That was what L was going off of

"Sorry N/n, but since I don't know if I am Kira, then I wouldn't know if you're helping me." Light backtracked

"Light, you better hope you're locked up because I'm going to pummel you when you get out," you say, glaring at him.

"What do you mean by 'you might be Kira'?" L asked

"Subconsciously, I might be Kira. If that were the case, I could be Kira and not even know it," Light said, looking guilty.

"I-I'm not sure of anything anymore, but unconsciously another person could be killing while I sleep," Light said.

"I'm afraid that's not possible," L interrupted.

"What do you mean?" Light asked.

"I didn't mention this to you, but at some point I had hidden screams installed in your room for five days," L announced.

"Cameras?" Light acts surprised.

" You really do have a camera fetish." With a laugh, you say

"You put cameras with N/n?!" Light inquired, enraged.

"Yes," L admitted.

"He even put some in my bathroom! I'm traumatized at the thought of it. Don't remind me "as you close your eyes.

How did Light not know? Shouldn't he already suspect that he did it to me as well?

Light clenched his fist.

"Ahem, I had no other choice." L said

" Anyways, every night you slept normally, criminals who died were still dying, even if you had no way of knowing about them, but this didn't prove anything to me.. All it did was prove that if you were Kira, then no amount of cameras would reveal that fact," L said while biting his finger.

"L, I don't know... but, it could be true. I have to admit... I found myself thinking that some criminals deserve to die. If I think like Kira, then how can I be sure I'm not actually him? " Light acts ashamed.

"Hold on, Light! I found myself thinking the same way. I thought that some people would be better off dead... but that doesn't mean we'll go out and kill people, isn't that right? Besides, criminals were being killed even though you had no knowledge. I mean, the surveillance cameras proved it didn't. " Matusda tried to put Light's worries to rest.

"Honestly, I don't like the way things are going at all... let's do it!" L said

Mr. Yagami let out a gasp.

"I need you to fully restrain Light Yagami and place him in solitary confinement." L demanded

"What you can't!" Mr. Yagami yelled

"If we're going to do this, it has to happen immediately. If we're going to do this, it has to be somewhere where I'll be able to see you," L said.

"This is crazy. There's no way my son! He can't be Kira, he's not capable of doing so! " Mr. Yagami tried to reason with L

"It's okay, dad," Light sighed.

"Stop this Light!" Light's dad pleads

"Listen, something has to be done. As long as I have these doubts, then I have to work with you to catch Kira, but Ryuzaki, promise me this: until you can say with absolute certainty that I'm not Kira, you cannot set me free no matter what I might say or what condition I might be in. " Light set up rules

Mr. Yagami attempted to argue with

"Let it go, dad. If I don't do this, I won't be able to live with myself." Light said

"But.. son, do you really mean that?" Mr. Yagami asked

Light announced proudly, "I believe that by giving up my freedom, I'll be able to get rid of the fear that Kira lurks within me."

"What about you, N/n?" "L asked you curiously."

"Yeah, no, have fun... lol" you say, bidding them farewell

"You need to," L said, leaving no room for argument.

You stare at him blankly, huh?
