You looked at your phone and got a notification.

Welcome. You will now be entering our newest, updated system. The first task will be : Get L to fall asleep.

Reward: Unlimited battery life on your phone.

Punishment: You will lose your eyesight in one eye!

You grip your phone tightly before making your way to a convenient store to get melatonin.

You bought melatonin from the store, planning to talk out the sleeping problem with L. If he refuses, then you will drug him.

As you entered HQ, Light, L, Mr. Yagami, and Wendy were all sitting down. They were on the phone with Matsuda.

Oh right, Matsuda is in a bit of trouble right now... maybe I'll deal with L after Matsuda gets back safely

"Oh, N/n you're here." Light said, looking up at you

L nodded as a form of greeting, while Wendy remained calm, as if the conversation from earlier didn't happen.

"I'm sure you're aware of the situation," L said.

You remain silent.

"Uh, guys! One of the executives here knows I manage N/n and they are asking for N/n to appear. What should I say?" You heard Matsuda say anxiously on the other end of the phone. It was on speaker, so you heard it loud and clear.

"We're getting a request from one of the workers in the Yotusbas group. They're requesting N/n to appear at the reception," L said, not looking up at you.

"Yeah, I heard," you said.

*Ding*

You see a screen appear in front of you with the following content:

Side Quest: Go to the reception and embarrass a member of the Yotsubas group.

Reward: $25k
Punishment: None

You looked up at everyone else. 

You weren't even surprised. If you were able to make it into this universe, then you didn't doubt they could make a screen only you could see.

"It's not a good idea to send N/n" L continued

"Yeah, Misa should be enough," Light added.

"I can't just leave Misa all alone. Let me join," you stated righteously.

L was about to refute when Light intervened.

"Okay, this will be more motivation for Ryuzaki. Besides, N/n wants to go for her own reasons" Light continued

"Thank you!" You thank Light as L turns away.

"Okay. Do whatever" L said impatiently.

You press 'accept' in front of you, confusing the members.

"What are you doing?" Mr. Yagami questioned

From the side of your eye, you noticed Wendy glaring at you.

'I tried to warn you' she mouths over to you.

You simply wink before leaving to get ready to meet with Misa.

You remember this scene from the anime, the girls would meet all the men inside the hotel room while Matsuda would fall out of the window.

You meet up with Misa.

"Hi Misa," you greet Misa, already wearing a mask to cover your identity, along with the clothing prepared for you.

"N/n!" Misa ran over to hug you.

You smiled at Misa. You were a bit late to the event, so the men were already drunk.

"Huh? Who's this?" One of the guys questions while pulling the back of your shirt

You pause, restraining yourself from acting rashly.

Misa was about to speak up but you gave her hand a squeeze before smiling

"My name is (completely fake name) " you said with gritted teeth.

"Why don't you two put on a show for us?" the man said with a sick grin.

"I'd rather not," you replied.

You were waiting for an opportunity to humiliate him. You didn't want to humiliate him over one comment. You wanted to make sure he was a scumbag before acting.

"You b*tch! You think you have the right to-" He was about to continue, but you shoved a nearby napkin into his mouth.

Okay! Sweet! I'll just be getting paid to do God's work.

"Keep your mouth closed; you're drooling. Women don't like guys who thirst over anything that moves" You say, keeping a sweet smile on your face

"You little b-" The guy spit out the napkin and was getting ready to stand up, but you grabbed a nearby cup of beer.

You slowly poured it onto his head, not breaking eye contact.

"I hope this quenches your thirst," you say, unaware of the scene you caused.

I hope I get extra points for how much I humiliated these guys.

The guy stood up and grabbed you by the neck. You stared at him.

Can I sue him for this? Yotsuba's group is filthy rich; maybe they'll take the lawsuit for him.

You were contemplating whether to fight back or not, while Misa took matters into her own hands. She tried to grab the guy's arm to let go of you. 

He pushed Misa back, leading you to make a move.

You use your hand to get a grip on his hand. You crush his hand with excessive force, hearing a crunch.

That was cool. That feeling of the crunch was so satisfying, maybe I should do that again

The guy grabs his hand with his other hand and screams.

"You-You!" He attempts to run towards you but you move out of the way, leading to him stumbling into the table with food, getting food splattering all over him.

"You're making a fool out of yourself. I suggest you leave before a lawsuit falls upon your company," you say, taking a sip out of the cup you previously poured on top of the male's head.

Another member of the company grabs the man on the floor to stand up and escorts him outside to leave.

"It's not worth it," the guy whispered. It was the hot, long-haired executive that worked with L at the end.

The man put up little resistance, thinking that Kira would deal with you.

Congratulations! You will receive a reward of $25k with an added $5,000 due to your excellent performance.

Time left with the previous task: (16 hours)

When Misa ran over to you to see if you were okay, Matsuda made his move on the balcony, successfully diverting the attention off of you.

You checked your phone while Matsuda fell out of the window, acting like nothing out of the ordinary was happening.

You were about to respond but L, Light, and Wendy sent you a message

L: You acted rashly, be careful next time

Light: Are you okay? Why'd you do that

Wendy:  I wish you luck. Be careful

You look at all the messages and feel a weird feeling bubbling up inside you.

You thought it was the feeling of happiness or embarrassment due to the kind messages, but it was neither. You threw up right on the floor. The beer must have had something inside that caused you to throw up.

Coincidently, Matsuda fell out of the window as you did so. Others thought it was due to fear that you had thrown up. You were able to make an early escape due to this excuse.

You arrived at the task force building, everyone frantic to see if you were okay.

"I'm good, thanks," you reply.

You look over to L and make a request.

"Uhm, Ryuzaki? Can you sleep in the same room as me tonight? I've been worried about your health and I'd like to make sure you're going to sleep," you asked L, lying like a liar does.

Light was staring at you while L was trying to figure out if you were joking.

"You want me to stay the night in your room?" He asked, sounding amused.

"I just need you to take a break and fall asleep. I'm really worried," you say, watching as he takes a bite out of the cake you laced with melatonin.

Sorry L, just fall asleep tonight

L looked like he was about to accept, but Light tugged on the handcuff.

"We're tied together, so I would need to go as well." Light said, while Misa was standing beside you.

You looked back at Misa to see her reaction.

"Light?!" Misa yelled out. It was reasonable; her boyfriend was attempting to get closer to her friend.

Misa suddenly grabs your arm.

"N/n! We haven't hung out in a while. Can't you just sleep with me?" Misa asked, surprising everyone in the room.

Light was glad Misa wasn't bothering him with her affection, but he didn't like who the affection was aimed for.

"Sorry Misa, I just know Ryuzaki is in need of sleep. I don't know if he'll be able to sleep with everyone there," you say, appearing sad.

Light looks over to you, then back at Light

"I suppose this wouldn't be too bad of an idea." L hummed, he walked up and you both entered your room with 1 bed, completely ignoring Light being dragged by his hand.

"L sleeps in that bed, Light sleeps on the floor," you say, motioning to the floor.

L didn't mind you saying his name when it was the two of you, but Light was there. He didn't correct you though.

"What are you talking about!?" Light asked, surprised that you told him to sleep on the floor.

You groan.

You go over to grab the couch that was positioned in the main space and bring it next to the bed where L was laying.

"Where are you sleeping?" Light then asked

If I'm next to L, he might not be able to sleep... or he could have a really comfortable sleep. It's a gamble.

You get up and go with your gut.

"I'll share the bed with Ryuzaki," you said, ignoring Light.

"I just hope you sleep instead of staying up thinking about me," you say with a laugh, grabbing a blanket and sleeping on top of it, avoiding contact with him.

Light remained deafeningly silent.

"Alright, goodnight," you said.

You stayed still for about half an hour.

"L?" you whisper.

"Hm?" He responded

"Dammit!" you mumble.

"Please go to sleep. I'll be right back." You say

You go to the bathroom and get on your phone and receive a message from an unknown, well, now known number.

Unknown:
You don't have a lot of time left. What will you do?

You: 
Are you allowed to assist me?

Unknown:
That depends. Will we be getting a good show?

You

Okay, Monokuma wannabe, calm down.

You: 
I need chloroform.

Unknown:
TO DRUG HIM?

You:
Shut up. Are you going to help me?

It seems like he just fell asleep

You walk back quietly and notice L is fast asleep. You sigh in relief and get ready to leave the room.

"Y/n? Where are you going?" Light asked in a groggy voice.

"You—" you were about to confront him about the unexpected jump scare, but you couldn't because he was reasonably confused.

You walk out of the room without replying, while you make your way to your own room.

You noticed Misa had fallen asleep hugging your pillow.

How'd she get in? ...It seems like Watari must have given her my room code.

You leave your room and take a break outside. You turned your phone off and fell asleep on the couch in your room.
