One
Will heard someone knocking on the door, but didn't really feel in the mood to answer, so he just waited to Pines to open it. He seemed nothing but confused.
"What are you doing here?" Pines said shaking his head trying to understand what was going on. In a normal day, Will would have stood up to check who it was, but he wasn't feeling ok. He just wanted to stay in the couch forever, and only a miracle would make him change his mind.
"Does he still here?" That voice. Will knew that voice. He struggled to stand up, it was like his body wasn't answering to his mind anymore, he did his best to get near to Pines and check if he was not going crazy, if it was actually Gleeful, if his master had actually came after him.
"Oh. Here he is" Pines said, clearly, he still was confused, but it didn't matter. Will kept looking at Gleeful for a while, trying to keep eye-contact, but he just felt his face burning, he was definitely blushing. He glanced at the floor, trying to come back to normal.
Although, he couldn't believe none of that, he couldn't believe that Dipper Gleeful was actually in Gravity Falls, and that he looking for him.
The boy who had never cared about anyone, and probably wouldn't even cross the street to save his own sister, was there. There to get Will back.
Will felt the tears coming for actual no reason.
One of Will's biggest problems in life was deciding if he would follow his mind or his heart, usually, he tended to follow his heart, which always ended up with him crying about pretty much nothing.
What was nothing to other people was to him the most important thing in the universe, therefore, he couldn't help but to cry his eyes and soul out.
In that right moment, Will's head was screaming and begging for him to slap Gleeful's face for simply making him feel worse than he already did by himself. But his heart wanted him to run and hug Gleeful as fast as he could like there was no tomorrow.
Maybe that was the first time he actually didn't know what to do. Of course, for those who follow what is logical, Dipper Gleeful deserved a punch in the face, he had never been such a jerk and a dumbass in his whole life, and Will was kind of mad at him.
But he couldn't do such thing. He simply stood there for a few seconds, fighting with himself in his own mind to decide what to do. Then glanced at Gleeful, ran and hugged him as if the world was going to end.
He didn't want to miss anything, not anymore. He wanted to live every single second with Gleeful. That was what he wanted, and if it depended on him, what he would do.
**********
Gleeful was never the kind of person that felt comfortable in, well, hugging people. But in that right moment, he looked to that (smol bean) harmless blue-haired boy, that he loved so much, and he didn't bother at all. He wanted that hug. He needed that hug. Geez, he had missed it.
Gleeful always had one thing that made him be sure he was crazy, he never told anyone, but he used to miss things that never happened to him.
When he fell for Will, he simply accepted his madness. Falling for Will destroyed him completely.
And he never thought he would feel so amazed by being destroyed.
Will destroyed everything that was bad about Gleeful in the very right moment he looked at him and Dipper knew Will loved him back.
How could someone even feel that way? It was impossible. It felt so good, so destructive, so impossible, so amazing.
How could one single name when said make Dipper's heart beat faster? How could one single look could make him smile? How one single demon could destroy him, fix him, make him smile, make him cry, leave him down, helpless, and at the same time, give him a hand to stand up? How could Dipper Gleeful be feeling that single feeling that turns everyone's world upside down? How could he depend so bad in someone as if this someone was a drug and he the addicted?
Will Cipher was his drug, and he didn't mind about that. He didn't choose, but if he could, he wouldn't change a thing. He never had any choice in his life, but even if he had, he would choose that life. Even though most of his life was miserable, and he wasn't quite proud of the things he had done, if he could choose anything on the world, including be happy since the day he was born, he wouldn't. He would choose that awful life, because after all it was the only life that would lead him to Will Cipher.
