'Don't cry, Solar...'

The light element thought to himself as he tried to hold back his tears.

'It's for the best...'

'It's for my little brother's own good...'

He kept telling those words to himself.

He kept thinking about his little brother and their happy memories together.

"I don't want you to cry. Please be happy. Please smile for me..."

He gritted his teeth, trying not to shed a tear from his eyes.

"Thank you for your bright smiles that lightens up my day, big brother."

He couldn't hold back his feelings anymore and broke down into tears.

He stopped walking as he dropped both of his knees on the ground and cried softly.

"What have I done...?"

The elemental cousins became speechless after Solar's disappearance.

Cyclone and Blaze's mouths were wide open after watching the whole scene.

Quake and Ice were frozen from their spot.

A shock expression can be seen on Thunderstorm's expression.

And,

The one who was affected the most.

Was Thorn.

For the first time, Thorn felt guilt.

He'd never felt so guilty in his life before.

He never was, he never did.

But now, he felt like it.

After seeing his big brother leave, he felt like as if his heart dropped from the inside.

He felt anxious.

Loneliness.

Sadness.

Pain.

And regret.

He wanted to run upstairs and lock himself in his cousin's room, blaming himself all day, all night.

But, he didn't.

He wanted to stop his brother from leaving.

But, he never did and regretted it.

But, he never regretted his decision...

The leaf element took a step.

"Thorn...?" Confused, the lightning element glanced at his little leaf elemental cousin with concerned.

To find his beloved, big brother.

The leaf element sprinted towards the door and opened it.

"Thorn!?" His cousins exclaimed in shock.

Before the leaf element leaves the house, he stopped to look back at his cousins with a sad yet determined look.

"I have to find him. He's the only family I have right now..."

The leaf element then exited the house and started sprinting to find his big brother, Solar.

"THORN!"

The light element continued walking away, far from his cousins' house with tears still streaming down on his face.

His hands were shoved inside his pockets of his white jacket while walking with his head hung low.

"Big brother!"

Solar's eyes perked up.

'That voice...'

He thought.

"Solar!"

'...Thorn...?'

He turned his head backwards.

But surprisingly...

His little brother wasn't even there.
