"SOMETHING BIG WAS GONNA HAPPEN"
MADISON'S POV:
DAYS AFTER:
I had this gut feeling, something wasn't good.
I haven't heard or talked to Shawn in a few days.
I needed to talk to him about his strange behaviour anyways.
I called him over to my house for some dinner.
I made chicken caesar salad and hamburgers, I'm not a very good cook so I settled with that.
DING DONG!
I flung myself over to the front door and was greeted with a sad, depressed, out of shape, Shawn.
He looked like an utter mess, I welcomed him inside and took him to the kitchen.
I was just about to mix the caesar dressing into the salad when I heard soft, manly, weeps.
I spun around and saw Shawn bawling his eyes out, staring me dead in the eye.
"Sh-Shawn?" I coughed out.
"I can't help it Mads,"
"Shawn what's going on?" I asked forgetting the fact he was crying.
"I can't tell you, I'm not allowed. You'll hate me, you'll be afraid of me!"
"Shawn," I eased.
"No you don't understand, you don't understand!" He was breathing unevenly now.
"Shawn," I said more firm.
I took a step forwards and he backed up.
"This-this was a mistake," he stammered and made a breakaway for the front door, not looking back.
Where has my old Shawn gone? I don't think I like this mysterious one, no not at all. Something big was gonna happen.

It was Sunday afternoon, again I have been without talking to Shawn for three days straight since he came over for dinner. Minus the dinner part of it.

SHAWN'S POV:
I found myself at this 80's diner again, the same red plastic straw between my cracked, dry lips. I slouched over the counter, once again, sipping ever last drop.
I turned my body to leave when I saw her.
The girl that I saw a few days ago was sitting a few seats down from me.
Her hair put up in a messy bun with her oversized sweater, sweatpants, and runners on.
Her lifeless body turned towards me and our eyes met, her blue eyes and plump pink lips stood out from her pale face.
A genuine smile appeared on her face and I smiled back.
She stood up to leave and I copied her, he found ourselves outside staring at each other with curiousity.
"Who are you?" I mumbled.
"I could ask you the same, but it seems as if I know you all too well,"
"What? What are you talking about?" I panicked.
"Shawn, I know your name is Shawn,"
"How?"
"I know about last summer," she muttered under her breath.
"You're the one who sent me the message aren't you?"
She nodded her head weakly and kicked the ground nervously.
"W-what do you know?" I asked.
"Shawn," she said as if she was going to cry," Shawn I was the one inside the car,"
That pit of guilt formed inside my stomach again and I clutched my stomach.
"No,"I spat,"That's not true!"
"Shawn you did this to me!" She quivered and slightly lifted up her sweater to reveal a scar starting from one end of her stomach and ending at the other.
"You did this to me...and she's gone now because of it,"
