Brice spent that night rushing to get his homework completed. He spent the whole day either drawing or procrastinating in general. It was a habit of his — actually scratch that, it was every college student's habit at some point.

It was around 1 in the morning when he finally finished his project that was due two days from now. Phew, good thing he didn't procrastinate too much. He leaned back in his chair, smiling to himself while murmuring, "Finally fucking done."

He swiveled his chair towards his bed, then plopped down on it. His phone rested on the nightstand, then went to go grab it. He hadn't checked it since when he first began, which was around 9pm. He smiled at the notification.

Brice stood at his open windowsill, feeling the cold breeze brush against his skin. There was a full moon tonight, along with some scattered clouds that blocked the stars. Brice scrolled through his contacts and pressed Seto's contact, then called him. It rang, but then he picked up.

"Hello?" A voice asked, one that Brice had assumed to be Seto.

"Your voice is nice," Brice replied, chuckling.

"Yours is, too."

"Did you really just compliment me?"

"I did, are you surprised?"

Brice laughed again, "I'd never dream of the day where you, Sealion, would compliment me. I am swooning already."

"Haha, right."

"You're really sarcastic, aren't you?"

"Of course I am."

"You know you're really good company. I'd like to be sitting next to you someday."

"I'm still not giving you my appearance."

"Dammit."

"It's still a risk for me to be sitting out here, especially since my brother's at my throat."

"Why is he at your throat?"

"Don't know. I guess he's not use to seeing me this happy before."

Even though they were talking on the phone, Brice could tell the other was smiling, "Who knew online friendships could move this fast. We talk like we've known each other for years."

"Yeah, it's nice, I have to admit."

"But hey Sealion, do you believe in ghosts?"

And just like that, the two found themselves talking until both of them had fallen asleep (and yes, Seto fell asleep on that roof without a care in the world).
