Jungkook placed the plastic bag filled with snacks carefully on the floor once he got inside his room. He didn't bother turning on the light as he finds the light illuminating from the window already enough; managing to navigate himself around the room without tripping on anything.

He plopped onto his bed and rolled to face the ceiling. His mind was filled with lots of things: their upcoming comeback, practice schedules, and Jisoo. Yes, he has been including the female idol in his thoughts despite the busy schedule. He really wondered why he suddenly had the courage to ask her a question that would've led them down a thorny road if Jisoo had said 'yes'.

He knew very well how harsh the idol business is nowadays. One slip up and everything you've built would come crashing down; their fanbases would go nuts if the two were spotted together. So why did he feel discouraged the moment Jisoo politely declined?

Jungkook sighs as he pulls out his phone from his pocket. He flinches a bit at the sudden contact with light, but he was able to adjust a few moments later. He goes to his contacts and scrolls down until he spots Jisoo's number.

She didn't any nicknames, she kept her contact name simple and plain: 'Jisoo'. Jungkook smirks as he decides to change it, after all, this was his phone.

Jungkook smiles before tossing his phone aside. He then looks up at the ceiling, before his eyelids slowly start to close. In a few moments, he was sound asleep.

The Next Day...

"Unnie's still sleeping?" Chaeyoung looked at Jennie in disbelief as the brunette nods in response.

"Why are you surprised Chae? She's always too lazy to wake up early." Lisa says as she snuggles closer to Jennie, who was watching television whilst petting her dog Kuma.

Chaeyoung sits right next to Lisa. "Yeah, but it's noon time!" She then glances at direction where Jisoo's bedroom is situated, "Did you guys even try to wake her up?"

Lisa nods. "I did for at least ten times and still got no response. She's dead tired."

Chaeyoung then looks back at Lisa, a confused look on her face. "Tired? She hasn't even left the dorm yet."

"Well it's Jisoo-unnie we're talking about.. She's unpredictable." Lisa then tugs on Chaeyoung's shirt, ushering her to come closer, "But let's worry about that later, let's watch TV together."

Chaeyoung sighs and scoots closer to Lisa. Though she had a television in front of her, she still thought about their eldest member.

A few hours later...

Jisoo yawned as she rose up from her bed. She then stretched both of her arms and did a few more stretches before looking around. The bowl of ramen she consumed hours before was still there, right beside her laptop. She had one hell of a win streak last night, and boy did it boost her confidence; she even stated that she could beat Jungkook and shove her victory down his throat.

"How long was I out?" Jisoo grabs her phone from the nightstand and her eyes nearly popped out of its sockets when she read the time.

'5:00 pm'

"I wAS oUt foR tHe wHolE dAy?" Jisoo then rushed to the living room and found Lisa lying on the sofa as she was reading something on her phone, "wHy dID nO oNe wAke mE uP?!"

Lisa looked at Jisoo, completely unfazed by the older's outburst. "Hey Jisoo-unnie." She states in a casual manner before going back to reading.

"Don't 'hey unnie' me. I was asleep for nearly the whole day and no one even dared to blast the speakers just to wake me up." Jisoo huffed as she sat right next Lisa's feet. She then looked around and noticed the silence in the dorm, "Where's Jennie and Chaeyoung?"

"Chaeyoung's in her room whilst Jennie went out to buy more food for us." Lisa replied before setting her phone aside, "Also, you were too stubborn to wake up. l tried ten times and you were still laying flat on your bed."

Jisoo groans, leaning against the couch whilst rubbing her (fluffy) cheeks. "I regret playing games until four in the morning."

"Heh." Lisa chuckles as she leans on Jisoo's shoulders, "I find it amusing how the younger ones have their lives together whilst the eldest is struggling."

Jisoo smacked Lisa on the forearm and scoffed. "eXcUse mE but I have my life together. It's just that my sleeping schedule is all flunked up."

Lisa sighs and shakes her head. "Whatever you say unnie." She then grabs the remote control and turns on the television.

Silence shortly followed as the two did not converse any longer. They both decided to enjoy each other's company and watch the variety show that was currently airing on the SBS channel.

Meanwhile...

"eXpLaIn tHiS."

Jungkook glanced over his shoulder and sees Taehyung holding his phone with the screen lit up. The younger turned to face him and read what was on the screen. He looked closer only to see that it was Jisoo's contact information.

He then looked at Taehyung, completely unfazed that the older had found out. "Uhm.. Jisoo's phone number?"

"When did you guys exchange phone numbers?" Taehyung said, still in disbelief.

Yikes.

Jungkook froze in his spot, the cool and calm demeanour slowly disappearing. His heart began to palpitate as sweat began to form in the corners of his fingers. He should've been more careful, now he is going to get in trouble. He stayed silent for awhile before he thought of a harmless lie.

"When we played together." Jungkook says, a wave of relief washing over him.

"You hesitated to answer." Taehyung stated bluntly.

Jungkook scoffs and turns away from Taehyung. "Just mind your own business."

Despite being 'shoo'-ed away by Jungkook, Taehyung leaned closer to the male as a grin made its way to his lips. "As expected of our maknae, snatching girls left and right." He teased, nudging the younger's arm.

Jungkook grimaced at the last statement and moved farther from the male, though it was completely useless since Taehyung would also scoot closer. He then pushes the older, and since he was a muscle pig, his poor member tumbled to the floor.

Jungkook laughs as he watches Taehyung rolling around the floor in pain whilst muttering something about 'making poor life decisions'. The older glared at him, but he was unfazed by it. "Don't look at me like that." He says, holding his hands up defensively, "You got what was coming to you."

Taehyung huffs as he gets up from the floor. "I'll have my revenge eventually." He mumbles, "Just you wait Kookie." He then hands over Jungkook's phone and turns to leave the younger alone; but as he was just about to exit the living room, he turns back to face Jungkook.

"And Kook." He says, catching the younger's attention.

"Yeah?"

"Be careful." And with that, Taehyung left.

Jungkook slightly tilted his head as he slowly turns to face the television. He didn't really understood what Taehyung meant by that, so he didn't put a lot of thought into it and continued watching. A few moments later, he found the show to be quite boring and decided to turn it off. He then glances at his phone and picks it up.

He enters his password and sees Jisoo's contact information on the screen once again. 'Should I..?' He thought, pressing his curled up finger against his lips, pondering whether he should initiate a conversation or not. Jungkook contemplated for awhile until he sees that he has received a new message.

Chichu 🐰: Hi 👋

Jungkook's eyes nearly bulged out of its sockets when he read it properly. He jolted up from the couch as he read the message again, still not believing it.

Jungkook: Hey 👋

He couldn't help but cringe as he threw his phone to the side, instantly regretting his life choices. Jungkook then rolls over to the other side of the couch, hoping that Jisoo would tell him that she sent it to the wrong person.

He hears a 'ding!' from the other side. He then looks at his phone and starts to contemplate whether or not he should reply back in lightning speed. Jungkook paces around the living room, arguing with his conscience.

"You know, it's probably best that you pick that up." His conscience says, clearly bothering him.

"I know I should." Jungkook mumbles, "But for the love of God, I regret how I sent her back that emoji."

His conscience scoffs. "Please. She probably doesn't mind it, plus this isn't your first time communicating with her."

Jungkook's eyes widened in realisation. He then gives his conscience a pat on the back before turning to his phone. He picked it up and opened up the messenger app;

Jungkook smiles as he reads the message. He finds it absolutely adorable how Jisoo sounds completely passionate about the anime she had mentioned in the chat. Whilst he was typing his reply, Jin walked in.

"Hey Jungkook." Jin says.

The younger could only nod and hum in response as he was too busy with his phone. Jin sighs and tells him to put away the device since it's time for them to eat their dinner.

Jungkook had no choice but to erase his whole message and compose another one;
