Kai is being a little bit of a (dick) I mean brother in this. (I love ki but I thought this would suit his character)
Lloyd kept stirring and eventually woke up in a panicked state. He tried to get up out of bed but instantly collapsed down on the floor, clutching at his side.
"Lloyd!" Nya shouted running to his side. He tried to get up but Nya stoped him.
"Let go of me, I need to, I need,"
"Sorry buddy but you aren't going anywhere" Kai said, needling down next to him as well
"I need to find Arin! I need to make sure he's ok!"
"He's ok-"
Lloyd interrupted Kai with a violent coughing fit. He kept hacking up a strange black liquid while clutching his side. He then tried to stand up and was successful this time. He shoved past Kai and Eden and made his way to Arin in the hall, using master wus old staff as a crutch. He staggered out the room and practically fell onto Arin.
"Lloyd? Are you ok? You look quite pale, and why are you crying?"
Arin felt Lloyd's tight grip on his gi loosen and the green ninja fell to the ground with a thud, his once bright and vibrant eyes now dead and empty, and staring at the ceiling unconscious. Nya and Kai rushed out to pick Lloyd up.

A few hours later

Eden knew exactly what had happened. She knew the moment that they mentioned that he was part dragon. Nya and Zane were sat by Lloyd's side, Eden was leaning against the windowsill, Arin, wildfire and sora were at the door, and Kai was pacing back and forth.
"What could have happened!"
Eden stood there, it was the dragon root that was in the cure for the oni tranquilizer, it was extremely lethal to the magical creatures. She had figured that being priced with it twice didn't do any good to him. She decided to speak up.
"I gave him dragon root,"
"YOU FUCKING WHAT!" Kai screamed at the top of his lungs
"It was the only way! The toxin stoped his oni power from working, he would have died from his wounds!" She tried explaining
"No, I bet you were trying to kill him, because you're a disgusting lying oni, who only thinks for themselves! You were trying to get close to him, so you could stab him in the back!"
"Kai, that's enough" Nya spoke up in a calm manner, as not to escalate the situation
"No! It isn't! Or should I remind you of what happened with harumi,"
Nya looked over to Lloyd, only to find him barely conscious and with tears streaming down his face.
Zane hurried every one out the room to give the two boys time to talk.
"So you think that she's a liability, Kai,"
"Of course Lloyd! She's an oni!"
"Part oni, like me,"
"But Lloyd you're different, you're-"
"Im a liability to then"
"No, Lloyd, you're part dragon aswell"
"So that's why you keep me around, because I'm part dragon, because I'm the green ninja"
Kai looked down at his shoes, knowing that Lloyd was mostly right. He stormed out the room. Shortly after, Eden walked in.

"You didn't have to defend me like that you know,"
"I had too, he was being unfair,"
Lloyd tried to stand up but passed out and hit the ground. This time, he dropped with no pulse.
"NYA!!!" Eden screamed. Nya, zane and arin rushed into the room. Zane scanned the room, then scanned Lloyd. He stet him on the ground and immediately started doing CPR. Arin, Nya and the others stood there in shock and tears as they watched Lloyd be resuscitated. Arin walked out with tears streaming down his cheeks. He leaned against the wall and sank down. He was crying for around a half an hour garmodon saw arin and walked up to him. He crouched down next to him.

"Hey kid, you good?" Garm asked. Although he didn't tell anyone, ever since his parents had gotten lost in the merge, he saw Lloyd as a father figure. He saw him as his dad.
"I, I just, Lloyd is-"
"You see him as your father don't you,".
Arin looked shocked at garmodons statement.
"Look, kid" he started, "I can read a room pretty well. Since I was out of his life for the main majority of his childhood, Lloyd sees Kai and Nya as his siblings, and it's obvious that you see him as your father, and it's even more obvious that he sees you and sora as his children". Arins eyes lit up at this information. For once in a long time, his eyes had a joyful glint.

In the imperium throne room

Lord Ras: " DOCTOR LAROEW! GET YOUR ASS IN HERE NOW!!!"

Dr larow rushed into the throne room, a pencil behind her ear and a clip bord in her hand.

Dr L: " y- y- y- yes, my lord, what is your command,"

Lord ras: "I want you to tell me how your progress on the project O-D-L-haurientes."

Dr L: "we will just need to find and collect enough components to withstand and energy burst around two times the amount imperium uses in a century, then we can drain the green ninja in one go, hopefully preventing his fight or flight reaction and successfully draining him completely."

Lord ras: "good, but we also need to find a way to separate the group and lure him here"

Dr L:  "my team are working on that as we speak sir,"

Lord ras: "very well then, soon we will have all the power for a weapon that can get us all the dragons we wish for! Now go doctor, and do my bidding and I have instructed for you,"

Dr Larow rushed out the room through the same door that she came through, leaving lord ras in the throne room, a devilish grin creeping up his face...
