Next morning after the battle, the sun shines on the broken fort, the Kagesama Samurai rest while some aids the villagers in fixing their home and the fort. Yuriko smiles as she aids an elderly couple, setting their stuff back in place while Mitsuhade fixes their roof planks. Hachi gathers the people in line as he begin to distribute foods and supply. Tesso, Saori and Tomoe helps in fetching them some fishes from the nearby river. Koji smiles as he looks at the people of Kagesama, finally freed from their tenses and fear of the Kurosawa. Sayaka in other hands is keeping the kids entertained, she sees Koji and waves him over. Koji arrives and smiles at the kids and Sayaka as he asks "You all seems relaxed, what are you doing?" Sayaka smiles as one of the kids saying their playing tag like how The Crow was when he was chasing away the Kurosawa. Koji raises a brow and looks at Sayaka with an impressed smile. He then pats the kid back as he asks Sayaka to follow him.

Together, Koji and Sayaka walks around the fort, offers a helping hand to some villagers. Hachi and Tomoe chats as they are now together distributing the foods. Tomoe turns to Hachi as she asked "So what are you? War general?" Hachi smiles and nods as he passes the supply to the villagers while he answer "You got that right. I have been a loyal servant to the Kagesama clan since forever. I know they are the clan I want to serve right after I know about the legendary Norio." Tomoe snorts and hands the supply while she say "So what is your take about this Kurosawa attack? Any Veteran tips for us newbies?" Hachi chuckles and turns to Tomoe before he says "You are a living legend yourself Fox. I know that mask and the archery style, you are just like your mother." Tomoe blushes and nods as they continue with their work.

Yuriko then joins Koji and Sayaka while she wipes the sweats off her cheek with a smile. Koji then asked where is Miyamoto, Yuriko smiles and shrugs as she answers "I've been looking for him as well, the people wants to see him." Koji nods and place his hand on Yuriko's shoulder as he winks and says "Why don't you go look for him? We'll take care of the villagers." Yuriko smiles and nods with a thanks before she walks out to look for Miyamoto. Koji then turns to Sayaka before they together continue in rebuilding the village.

The sound of the waterfalls softly sways in Yuriko's ear, companied by a soft breeze of wind and songbird's chirping. Yuriko hiked on the waterfall close to the fort. As she reach the shoulder of the mount, she smiles as she sees Miyamoto resting on the cliff,under a clumper of yellow and green bamboo. Yuriko approaches and Miyamoto offers Yuriko a tokkuri as he softly says "Sake?" Yuriko chuckles and takes it from Miyamoto as she takes a seatnext to him. Both of them chuckles as they look at the villagers washing their belonging and enjoying the water after months of trapped in their own fort. Yuriko takes a sip of the Sake and whines a bit, Miyamoto chuckles, his eyes never leaves the happy villagers on the river as he ask "I had the same reaction when I first tried sake." Yuriko grins and takes another sip, slowly this time before she wipes her mouth and says "I'll get used to it." 

Two of them enjoys the peaceful moment they have ever since the last time they met, Yuriko takes a deep breath and sigh, she then ask "So why did you do it?" Miyamoto drinks his Sake again as he looks at Yuriko "Do what? Teaching you how to be an awesome adult?" Both of them breaks into another giggles before Yuriko wipes her laughing tears and asked again "I mean what you did last night. Saved me, the village. Also ignites the spirit of my people. Why?" Miyamoto sigh before he takes another sips and smile "You seems like you needed a saving, and I can't stand looking at your people feeling defeated in a battle that they haven't even fight yet. The Kagesama clan, it is the clan that used to be the daimyo in this prefecture. They need to be stronger than that if they want to keep up the reputation. They need to be as strong as you." Both of them looks at each other in the eyes, Yuriko raises her tokkuri and so did Miyamoto before they drinks again.

Sound of leaves stepped on from behind, Miyamoto and Yuriko turn around and find Koji and Sayaka. Both of them joins in and together taking the peaceful sight of the nature and its people. Koji then clears his throat before he says "It was rumored that Castle Kagesama survived the invasion. Lady Sayaka and the Ikeda was somehow able to push the Kurosawa out." Yuriko eyes widen as she turns to Koji with a smile, confirming the rumors with him as he nods. Yuriko then grins and wraps an arm around Miyamoto's waist before he smiles and holds her waist. After a while, Tesso and Saori joins them with bottles of Sake and grilled fish. Together they enjoys their treat while Koji lays out his plan. Koji chews on his food as he says "After we are done fixing the fort, I would like if we visit the Castle Kagesama. It is important to bond with such strong ally." Miyamoto nods as he adds "Yuriko must also misses her family, am I right?" Yuriko smiles and nods. All of them continue to enjoy their treat before returning to the fort to continue their work. As they all walks down the hill, Yuriko reaches and holds Miyamoto's wrist, whispers a thanks.
