As the villagers begins to hide inside their shack, the remaining Samurai stands guarding the wall and the gate. Yuriko and Saori walks around the fortress and checks on every villagers they find. Koji approaches the old man as he sees the commotion near the fortress main gate, The old man looks at Koji and sigh before he says "I'm sorry about earlier my lord. My nerves got the best of me when you, Lady Yuriko and your friend sneaks in to the village. We were so tensed as we thought you were one of the Kurosawa." Koji smiles and pats the old man's shoulder, saying that he understand the situation. The old man then looks at the gate as one of the Kurosawa general approaches, the old man then says "My name is Hachi. I used to serve the Kagesama as their war general. But now? This is too crazy even for me... Now their general is approaching, it is likely that they want to declare their attack. Can you do me a favor of taking my place for me, my lord?" Koji smirks and nods as he looks at the gate.

Before Koji can instruct the guard to open the gate, Miyamoto clears his throat from behind. Koji turns and chuckles as he sees Miyamoto,the  determination in Miyamoto's face as he joins Koji with Tesso right behind him. Miyamoto's eyes fixed on the gate as he talks to Koji "Tesso and I will join you in this. I too, have a few word for the Kurosawa." Koji nods firmly and tells the guard to opens the gate. Some of the Kagesama Samurai fleet back reluctantly, clearly afraid of the Kurosawa presence. Koji in the middle, Tesso in the left and Miyamoto on right marches on the drawbridge of the Kagesama fort, and stops short, keeping a safe distance between them and the Kurosawa general with the other two of Kurosawa guard. The general smiles and talks in a loud tone "Greetings again people of Kagesama. I'm not sure if we have met, so I'll introduce myself. I am General Kurosawa Kobe, general of the Kurosawa clan and also known to be a better swordsman than Takayuki himself. I am here to give all of you a last chance to keep your life, surrender! Or we will attack by next sunrise." Kobe giggles

Koji glares at them and say "I am Masaharu-. " Miyamoto cuts Koji off with a scoff and says "I'd like to see you coward try... I promise you this, once you starts to attack, you will never again see the light of day again, Kobe..." Koji calms down and steps back a little while Tesso taps Koji's back and whispers his question of why Koji let Miyamoto talks his thought. Koji smiles at Tesso and says "Because I like where this is going." Kobe glares at Miyamoto and spits on the bridge as he steps forward and ask "And who are you? Peasant..." Miyamoto glares and keeps his eyes sharp on Kobe before he answers "I am Ogawa Miyamoto... Last warrior of the Ogawa clan, and I can promise you Kobe. Set your foot closer, and I'll make sure my blade will cut right through you..." Kobe smiles and nods before he says "Okay then Ogawa scum, see you then. We will attack at Dawn!" The Kurosawa falls back to their camp, Miyamoto let out a long breath he didn't realize he was holding. Koji smiles and brushes Miyamoto's back and says "I'm proud of you Miyamoto, keep this up and you will soon be one of us..." Miyamoto scoffs and turns to walk back into the fort with the others.

Hours after the meetings, Miyamoto finds Yuriko in the fortress supply shack. He smiles and approaches but stops himself as he sees Yuriko sitting on the ground with her face buries in her palm. Miyamoto sigh and turns to walk out but stops as Yuriko speaks so softly "Do you think we can win?" Miyamoto turns his head around slightly and sees Yuriko half sobbing, her eyes is red and damp with tears and her voice is shaky and rattled. Miyamoto sigh and keeps his head down as he answers "We cannot lose hope, Yuriko... You taught me the way of the Samurai, back at the yacht-." Yuriko cuts him off and says "That was not the same!" She continue her cries. Miyamoto turns back and drops on his knee with a hand place on her shoulder. Yuriko tries to speak between her sobs "One of the villagers even told me, that we are as good as dead. They should have just defies Lord Norio and joins in with the Kurosawa... I feels so helpless, Miyamoto" Yuriko's tears glisten on her palm, her eyes is as swole as it can get from crying. Miyamoto looks down before he reaches into Yuriko's pouch, grabs her Kagesama headband and ties it on his head. Yuriko looks up confused as Miyamoto smile and says "Just leave it to me, Yuriko... I shall represent and bring back the honor of Kagesama..." Yuriko grits her teeth, cries as she slowly reach and hugs Miyamoto.

Hours left before sunset, the Samurai of Kagesama is preparing their defenses as they slips into their body armor and helmets. Koji does his round up on each of the Samurai before he steps on a crate and speaks "Samurai of Kagesama! We are to prepare a defense against the Kurosawa armies that will attack by next morning! I want every villagers to stay inside the main fort, Samurai lead by General Hachi will stay with me in the battlefield. I want the archers to stay and attack the Kurosawa on the next morning from the shacks roof and watchtower, keep staying on the high ground. The archer will be led by Lady Yuriko and Tomoe. Any more questions?" The Samurai and villagers nods silently. Koji sigh frustrated, he steps down the crate and walks toward his alliance shack and finds his comrade has all wears the Kagesama Samurai armor. A White Yukata, black and brown lining of body plate and greaves with a brown Hakama.

Koji smiles as he meets Mitsuhade, their fists bumped while Mitsuhade speak "We got this Koji, this is just like the fight against the rebellion we used to have." Koji and Mitsuhade's chuckles were interrupted by Tomoe who steps closer and says "Except this one is not a regular rebellion. It is the Kurosawa clan." All of them giggles as they mock the Kurosawa, Koji walks to find Miyamoto. He ask the others about Miyamoto's being but the others says they have not seen him. Koji walks out the door and finds Miyamoto in the back of the shack. Koji chuckles and points out as he says "Your Hakama is supposed to be in your greaves buddy." Miyamoto turns back and chuckle as he answers "How am I supposed to know? I'm no Samurai." Koji pats Miyamoto's back as he finds the direction of where Miyamoto is looking. Finally Koji breaks the silence and ask "Something bothering you buddy?" Miyamoto swallows his saliva as he points at the camp, their torches is seems to stay lighten. Koji brushes it off and invited Miyamoto back to the shack. Miyamoto refuses as he walks away.

Miyamoto walks past the villagers who is preparing to go to the main fort, he spots Yuriko helping one of the villager's old elders. Miyamoto approaches and pulls Yuriko away by her arm. Yuriko startled and follow before she pulls her arm back and glares at Miyamoto as she says "What's going on Miyamoto?" Miyamoto sigh and looks around before he leans and whispers "The Kurosawa will attack tonight, we must warn the others..." Yuriko sigh and walks back softly and smiles toward him as she say "You're just tensed Miyamoto, its fine. The Kurosawa is just scaring us, they act as if they are attacking tonight to get you a sleepless and attack when you are the most tired. Try to get some rest Miyamoto..." Yuriko turns to walk away but Miyamoto grabs her wrist softly as he says "Yuriko please..." Yuriko turns to Miyamoto and smiles before she softly latches her finger on Miyamoto's hand and softly peels his hand off her wrist before she says "It's okay if we lose Miyamoto... Sometime the best way to fight, is to lose. And let our pain flies away from this mortal life." Yuriko eyes wells with tears before she quickly wipes it and walks back toward the villagers.

Miyamoto sigh defeated as he walks away, he finds an empty broken and abandoned shack near the south gate. He walks in and sits on his knees in the middle of the shack. He closes his eyes and let his thought wanders in his mind. "What am I doing here? Why am I here? I was just a normal guy who only fight for wealth. I take advantages of the wealthy Samurai, not loyal. And definitely no honor... Why would I waste my time and energy for something so pointless? What changes me?" Miyamoto brows furrowed, his fist turns into a ball as he search for an answer within him. Suddenly it appears in his mind. He remembers the face of the villagers, defeated and scared of their fate, caused by the Samurai. The face of the sailors from earlier, kind enough to let themselves be fooled by a liar like him. The face of his family, fighting to the end of their breath despite being deemed having no honor. Then, she appears in his mind. A woman, beautiful and strong woman with a bow. And a beautiful white Yukata that makes her much more gorgeous. "Who is she?" Miyamoto minds thought.

As Miyamoto reflects on himself inside the shack, Yuriko and the others helps the villagers toward the main fort up the hill within the gate. Hachi and his men opens the gate as they let the villagers in slowly. Yuriko wipes the sweat on her forehead, she reach into her pouch but finds her headband is not in, suddenly she remembered that Miyamoto took it with him and the promises. She blushes and smiles to herself as she continue to help more villagers. Suddenly she turns around and sees a big explosion on the main gate, it breaches the gate easily and the Samurai who was guarding it falls of the watchtower. The moonlight silhouette against the burning fire. The Kurosawa Samurai charges in and attack the villagers and the Kagesama Samurai. Yuriko quickly urges her people to run back into the main fort up the hill. Hachi spots the attack, he grabs the Horagai from his belt and blows it alerting all of his men regarding the attack. Koji and the others has begun to charge toward the main gate to defend it to holds more Kurosawa Samurai from getting in. Archers tries to get into positions but fails as the Kurosawa has begun to burn the shack and blocking their way. Tomoe joins beside Yuriko and slaps Yuriko across her cheek as she yells "Snap out of it Lady Yuriko! Your people needs you!" Yuriko eyes widen and nods before she reach for her bow and begins to attack the Kurosawa invaders.

As they gives they all in defending the fort, Yuriko realizes that some of the villagers is unable to save themselves toward the fort as the Kurosawa attack was not as informed. Sayaka hurries toward Hachi and informs him regarding the situation. Hachi pushes Sayaka away as a Kurosawa tries to stabs her from her side. Before the Samurai can stands back up, Hachi drives his blade right through the Samurai helmet and skull. Hachi kicks the Samurai down and turns to Sayaka and nods as he says "Go! My men and I can manage!" Sayaka nods gratefully and runs down the hill toward the villagers shack area. Sayaka finds Yuriko and Tomoe covering themselves behind a barrel as the load their bow again. Sayaka spots two Kurosawa samurai charging toward them as they trying to load their bow, before the Samurai could sneak behind Tomoe, Mitsuhade charges toward the Samurai and strikes his blade right through the samurai's back and kills them. Yuriko manages to pull out her Tanto and strikes the Samurai on the face before Sayaka continues with blows after blows of her Yari shaft on the samurai's head.

Yuriko yells at Sayaka to duck and she does just right time as Yuriko shoots her arrow passes Sayaka to the Samurai who tries to sneak behind her. Sayaka holds Yuriko's arm and yells "I realize some of the villagers are not at the fort!" Yuriko nods and replies "You are right, but we can't get them away with just us! We need more cover!" Tomoe and Mitsuhade nods as they begin to fend off more Kurosawa samurai who tries to stop them. They are blocking the samurai from getting into Yuriko and Sayaka's way in helping the villagers out of the shack. Kobe finally walks into the fort and swings his blade, killing more Kagesama Samurai. He finally stops as his eyes meets with Koji's just as he passed the gate. Koji raises his blade and readies himself same as Kobe, preparing for their duel.
