Yuriko, a 26 years old samurai, ties her black headband under her pony tail. She adjust the red armor plate on her chest and back before, wearing a white Yukata and pant. She looks at her best friend, Ikeda Nanami who is wiping her Katana. Yuriko approaches her and gives a thumbs up and say, "We will get through this together okay? The preparation has been done flawlessly. The enemy won't know what's coming to them." Yuriko smiles and kneels to face her best friend, her best friend then wraps an arm around Yuriko's shoulder and smile "As long as we have each other, we won-" She cuts off and stands, looking at the sky as they sees a giant burning boulder is flying down toward them. Yuriko's best friend pushes her away and tries to dodge before the boulder hits the ground and knocks Yuriko out.

The heat of a burning flames awaken Yuriko from her sleep. Yuriko realizes that she has been knocked out on the battlefield. Last thing she remembers is an explosion right in front of her team. As she realizes that her teammate has all fallen, she stands and quickly grabs her bow from the ground and hides behind a giant boulder. Cursing as she takes an arrow and quick aim on the opponent clan before she shoot them right on the head. Yuriko runs away from the ground and climbs on a boulder in the field as she takes aim and takes out more of the opponent clan. She sees that her clan is at disadvantage as most of them has already been killed. "They fought without honor, shameful! They deserve no mercy, No Mercy!" Yuriko yells

Yuriko jumps off the boulder and runs toward one of the fallen comrade archer, she takes her head and place it on her thigh as she taps on the Samurai face, trying to wake them up. Tears stream down her face as she realizes that the fallen Samurai is no other than her best friend since childhood, Nanami. Losing her temper, Yuriko unsheathes her best friend's Tanto and screams out her lungs as she charges toward a nearby opponent and thrust her Tanto right into his side, pulls the Tanto out and thrust it back in his throat. As the Samurai falls. Yuriko sheath the tanto back on her Uwa-Obi, a belt samurai uses to hold their blade.

Yuriko pulls out her bow from her quiver and rains her arrows on at least 5 more Samurai before she runs out of arrows. Scoffs, Yuriko yells to her comrade to never fall back. Despite her effort, more of her comrade is fleeing from the battlefield, running toward the Kamo River. After more of her comrade has flee. Yuriko curses under her breath before she puts her bow back in the quiver and runs off with them. Not before she stops by her best friend dead body and kisses the corpse's cheek farewell.

As they all together running toward Kamo River to regroup, hundreds of flamed arrow rains on their direction, burning the tree and killing more of their samurai. Yuriko jumps behind a boulder beside the river and hides. She is shaking as she sees all of her comrade yelling and screaming in pain as the fire arrow hits their vital point, their corpse falls beside and near the river. Kamo river changes into a dark crimson red as corpse and injured samurai fallen near it. Yuriko looks up and quickly ducks back behind the rock and hide as she sees the opponent Samurai comes closer to the river. An injured Samurai crawls back in pain and fear, one man then steps forward and yells "I am Kurosawa Nanobu! Commander of the Kurosawa clan. Kagesama Samurai, Surrender and you will be free from the suffering." The fallen samurai screams in fear tries to crawl away as he begs them not to kill him, "Please! My mother is sick, I have a wife and daughter to take care of! Please don't kill me!" The samurai begs as he crawls. Commander Nanobu draws his blade and press the blade point on the samurai back. With a smile, Commander Nanobu lifts his blade before thrusting it deep through the samurai back, before pulling it out and stabs again and again. The Samurai screams in pain, yelling please stop to the commander uselessly. Slowly losing his life.

Yuriko grits her teeth in anger as the Kurosawa clan continue to slaughter more of the remaining fallen samurai. She holds her Saya, the holder of her Tanto slowly unsheathes it. She slowly approach one Samurai and closes his mouth with her palm as she strike the Tanto into his throat, slitting it open and put him down. Before she can kill more, one samurai yells and points at Yuriko. Leaving Yuriko with no other choice but to flee, she runs into the bloody river but an arrow hits her left shoulder. She stumbled on the river and continue her runs until she slipped into the deeper part of the river and drifted far. She hits her back on a boulder and was again knocked out as the river brings her away from the enemy.
