I want to say that in this story your an ice dragon slayer and that maybe in an other one you can choose it yourself but at this moment this is the easiest manner of  writing for me.

Your pov

I was still wondering why my dragon had left me. I don't understand what I did wrong. A voice pulled me out of my thoughts "(y/n) are you okey and are we going to eat soon." Was the question  of my exceed. "Yes I'm okey and we are going to eat soon (e/n)." I say to her. "We have to find a place to stay for the night. And then tommorow trying our hardest to find the Fairy tail Guild. " I say to (e/n). So we walk to a building that looks like a bed and breakfest kind of thing so we go inside. There is a nice female that asks us what we want to drink and eat. So we chose for our (f/f) and (f/d). Then we sat down and waited for our food.  When the food was here we dug in.

After eating we asked if they had a room to stay and payed for everything. Then we went to our room and went to bed.  

~timeskip the next morning~

I stand up and let (e/n) sleep. I go and take a bath. After the bath I put on some cloths and brush my hair and teeth. After that I wake (e/n) up. And walk with her to the first room for breakfest. After breakfest we went on our way again. "Neh (y/n) do you know how long it still will take to get to fairy tail?" (E/n) asks me. I get the map and show her where we are now and where the guild is. "I think it's about half a day away if we keep walking without stops and then we can finally join the guild of our dreams." I say to her with a huge grin on my face. "And what about eating then?" (E/n) asks. "Hahaha we can eat all we want at the guild but how faster we are there how faster we will be home." I say and put the map back in my bag. After that we start walking again. After a while we find a train station to Magnolia and to be quick er we decide to take the train. In the train I lied down so I could handle my motion sickness. I'm happy that it isn't so bad as by some dragonslayers. "(Y/n) you can do it we are almost there." (E/n) says. And indeed After a while the train stops and we go out. "Can we please stand still for a few seconds?" I ask (e/n) while binding forwards to regain composure. "Of course I know you need it." (E/n) says while standing next to me. 

"Okey lets go." I say after a while. From the train station we walk through the city and I see a big building in the center of the town. "Look (e/n) there it is the fairy tail Guild lets go." I say and look at (e/n) with a very happy smile. so I begin to run and of course I'm hyper so I run faster and (e/n) can't follow me. Until she begins to fly actually than she can follow me. So that's what she did. When I runned for a while we both stood before a huge building with the letters fairy tail on it. I looked at (e/n) "are you ready (e/n)?" I ask the exceed. "Hai." Is her happy answer. So I open the doors and walk in. When I set one foot inside I can  already dodge a flying chair. I look at my exceed and walk over to the bar where a girl with silver white hair stands. When she sees me she give me  a big smile. "Hello what can I do for you?" She asks me. "I want to join the guild." I say with a big grin. "Okey where do want your stamp." She looks at me with a questioning look. " I like to have it on my right shoulder please." I say and I get it there in (f/c).
Also (e/n) gets a guild mark so were officially part of the guild. "By the way I'm Mira-Jane but everybody calls me Mira." "Nice to meet ya Mira I'm  (y/n)." I say and I then see the two troublemakers. One of them has raven hair and is almost naked and the other one has pink hair and wears a vest with a scarf. Pretty cute I think to myself while blushing a little bit. "That are Gray and Natsu two troublemakers here. The raven head is Gray and the pink haired one is Natsu." Mira said with a smirk. "See I some one blushing?" She teases me. "N-n-no Shut up i-i don't blush." I say but I know I failed because of the stuttering. 

After some more dodging there walked a woman with crimson hair in the guild. "Natsu Gray stop fighting." She said with a dark aura the two boys stopped immidiately with fighting. "Hai Erza" the said in unison. I tried to hold a giggle back. When they finally stopped fighting that woman Erza walked over to the bar. "Hello your new?" She asks me with a sweet smile. "Yes I'm  (y/n) nice to meet ya." I tell her. "I'm Erza also nice to meet you to. And Mira can I get some Strawberry cake?" "Of course Erza it's coming up." Mira told her. After a while Natsu walked over to the bar and ordered something to eat because the fighting made him hungry. "Never seen you around I'm Natsu Dragneel." He says and hold out his hand for me to shake. "Hello I'm  (y/n) (l/n) nice to meet you Natsu." I say while shaking his hand. Wow his hand is hot I thought. "Are you cold?" His question got me of guard "No why?" I ask him. "Because your hand is cold." I began to laugh " No I'm not cold but I'm an ice dragon slayer so my body temperature is colder than from most people." I say and I point to my exceed "This is (e/n)." (e/n) started to wave. " Oh that's cool the blue categorie over there is Happy and that is my exceed. By the way I'm a fire dragon slayer." He says with an adoreble smile. (Like in the picture above) I began to blush. Mira gave Natsu his food and he began to eat it after that he gave the bord back. "Heey (y/n) do you want to go on a mission with me?" "Yeah I like that please choose one and I'm going with you." I say back.

After some moments he came back with a job flyer in his hand. "Come Happy" "Come (e/n)" Natsu and I say in unison. So we walked together out of the guild.

"So (y/n) do you think we can walk because I have motion sickness and the train doesn't really help" Natsu looked at me hopefully. "Of course I have the same problem so walking is no problem." I say and was happy because I didn't have to go in a train either. When we finally get to the Village we went immidiately to the person from the job. After getting what we had to do we went to the forest to look for the forest vulcan we had to get away from the Village.  After some walking we finally found his hiding spot and told him to go away. But of course he isn't going away. So we have to fight him.

"Fire dragon Iron fist" I hear Natsu yell next to me before he jumps at the vulcan with his hand engulfed in flames. I can't be left out of this so I yelled "ice dragon wing attack" and also jumped at the vulcan. I got to hit him but one of his massive hands hit me also and because of that I became launched and knocked against a tree and had diffuculties to stay concious.
I heard far away an "stay awake (y/n)" but after that everything became black.  

Natsu pov

After (y/n) was launched against the tree I yelled to her "stay awake (y/n)" but I saw her eyes close themself when she lost conciousness. "You bastard" I yelled to the vulcan because I was really pissed off thanks to him and I really like (y/n) it could be love at first sight. The vulcan only laughed a bit so at that moment I was boiling with rage. "Roar of the fire dragon" I yelled and hit him in the guts with roar. But I was still not done. "Fire dragon talon" I hit him with my foot and because of my rage I got him unconcious. So After the fight I run to (y/n) to look if there wasn't to much damage. When she still didn't regain conciousness I picked her up bridal style and carried her back to the Village. I hired a room and laid her on the bed to rest. I grabbed a chair and sat next to her. After a while my eyes became heavy and I fell asleep.

~ timeskip to the next morning your pov~

I woke up and tried to sit straight but couldn't do that because of the pain in my body. I also let out a yelp of the pain and I saw Natsu lying in a chair next to the bed. Thanks to my yelp I heard a soft groan and saw Natsu waking up. "Good morning" I said to him. He looked at me and his look became slightly relieved. "Good morning your awake and how is your body?" He asks a voice full of concern, "I'm fine Thanks to you so thank you for saving me". I say to him and I give him a quick kiss on his forehead. He began to blush just like me.

When we finally got up we went back to the person who gave us the job and got our reward. After that we decide to walk home together. Natsu still had to support me but that's fine.

After some walking we were back at the guild and Natsu brought me to the  little infirmary at the back of the guild. "Wendy please can you help me (y/n) is wounded." Natsu asked a little girl. "Yes I'm coming" We heard the answer. So I lied down on the bed and the little girl Wendy came in to the room and used her magic to heal me. "You still have to keep calm for a couple off days but you have to be fine" she told me. "Okey thank you for the help I said before drifting back off to sleep.

Natsu pov

After (y/n) fell asleep I went to the front and told everybody what happened and that they didn't need to be worried. After that I went back to the infirmary and took chair to look at the peacefull sleeping face of (y/n).

After spending almost three whole days by her side Erza came to me. "Natsu it would be the best if you go to home and get some sleep we are all worried about you." She said.  "Okey but I don't want (y/n) to be alone". I say in my defence but I know better that doesn't change the fact that I need some sleep. " I will be by her side and after a good night sleep you can go and sit here again." Erza said to me so I just nodded and walked off to my house to get some sleep.

~timeskip the next morning~
Your pov

Before Natsu could come back to the guild I woke up and of course didn't see Natsu. I saw Erza sitting in a chair next to me wide awake and reading a book. "Where is Natsu? Is he okey" I ask Erza because I was afraid that there was something wrong with Natsu." Good morning Natsu is at home sleeping everything is alright with him but he has stayed by your side for three whole days without sleep so I sent him home yesterday to get some sleep" She said and smiled a little bit. "Thank you and I have been out for three whole days?" I asked shock written all over my face but I was also blushing a little bit from the thought that Natsu ws by my side all this time. Before Erza could give me an answer we heard the door opening and I saw Natsu walking inside. "(Y/n) you're finally awake" He said before hugging me tight. Erza walked out of the room to give us some space and when she was gone Natsu and I both where blushing bright red and there was a really akward silence.

After a while Natsu spoke up "(y/n) I'm glad your okey I was afraid that I would lose you there. I really like you and would like to go out on a date with you if you want that to of course" He said it blushing bright red. "Yes I want to go out with you and I really like you to" I said. After that we kissed and he told me he was going to get the both of us some food.

After some months of dating Natsu and I are finally a couple and everybody in the guild is very supportive. I have also become much stronger just to protect Natsu to and that there isn't a repeat from our first mission together.
