Your p.o.v

It was the same routine as everyday. People are afraid of the dangerbeast and I have to kill them. The only thing that's different is that I finally have an imperial arm.

~ Flashback~

I walked through the forest because there was a report of a strong dangerbeast. And of course I chose that mission to do. So I walked further and heard some screams. At that moment I knew where the dangerbeast was so I ran towards the voices. After a few moments I saw a dangerbeast who looked like a dragon and was breathing fire. So I told the people to go away and unsheated my sword, I land a few blows but then he hit me. So I crashed against a tree. After some time I finally won against him and drank his blood. Then it felt like my body was ons fire and I began to hear voices but I was stronger than the blood and won. So I got a tattoo in the form of a flame on hip.

~ end flashback~

After that day I was always fighting with my fire. And today was finally the day that I was going to join the imperial legion. Also because I knew that there was a slight chance to become a member in general Esdeath's legion. That's also the team I want to be in because of Esdeath. From the first time I saw her fighting I had a crush on her and I still have it. So I'm hoping to see her more.

~timeskip~

I was accepted in the imperial legion and was the lowest rank so I was going to do my best and become a high rank so maybe one day I can fight next to Esdeath. To become stronger I went to the gym.

Esdeath p.o.v

I wanted to train some more before going on a job with the jaegers so I went to the gym. On my way to the gym there was one person on my mind Tatsumi because I still love him very much but I also know that he doesn't love me back and that's why I want to impress him. So i'm gonna train harder for him. When I finally made it to the gym I heard noises inside like somebody else is also training. When I walked in I saw a girl a little younger than me but not much she looked like 18. And I never saw her before so she could just have joined us. She looked a little frustrated and used fire. I was shocked and asked myself why they didn't tell me, I want to have her in my team. I walked closer and when she heard my heels she turned around and looked at me. when she saw me she looked shocked but that could also be an illusion from my side. "Hello who are you"? I ask her hoping that she was going to answer me. "(Y/N)" was her short answer. So I decided to ask an other thing. " When did you join the army and why didn't they tell me about your amazing powers because I want somebody like you in my team." She blushed and I didn't know why but I thought it was very cute. " I just joined today and they didn't tell you general because I never showed any of them my imperial arm. So if you want to blame somebody please blame me for not showing them." She said. With that I found that she has much courage to talk back to me. "Oké were going to your boss and talk to him I want you to transfer to my team as so on as possible if you want or not." I said and realised I was really blunt to that girl and get her scared for me. "Oké if that is what you want general then we go and find my boss." She said and she smiled something I didn't see coming especially because I was so rude.

~ Timeskip ~

Finally we are by the boss and I knocked on the door. "Come in" we heard so we walked in. "General Esdeath what brings you here"? He asked. "I want (y/n) in my team so I want you to hand her over to me". But he only shaked his head and said " I can do that only if that is what (y/n) wants. So if she doesn't want to go in your team than you don't have a choice but to respect that. So (y/n) what do you want?" He asked (y/n). " I like to go to general Esdeath's team sir." She said and I could feel butterfly's in my stomach and I knew that feeling from one person only Tatsumi. And I know for sure that she isn't Tatsumi and I really don't understand why I feel this way about her. "Now general succes with your new team member." He said. I only looked at him and turned around to walk away. " Come with me (y/n) you're going with me." (y/ n) and I walked out and I was in thoughts until I heard a sudden voice. " GENERAL ESDEATH" She literally yelled to me. " yes" I answered. "You spaced out. Where do you think about"? She asked me with a little worry in her voice. "Nothing to worry about just the mission". I said because I couldn't tell her that I was thinking about her. "I will bring you to your room so you can sleep." "Okey" I heard from beside me and I didn't dare to look at her. Every time I looked at her my heart speeds up and I feel heat rush to my cheeks.  "Here is  your room and if you need anything at the and of the hallway is my room. And before I forget it be careful in the hallway's at night because it's dangerous in the castle." I said with a small smile in the hope that she would come to my room at night. " Okey thank you for your kindness and good night." She said to me before she went inside of her room. " good night (y/n)." I said before heading to my own room.

Your p.o.v.

After bidding Esdeath good night I went in my room and heard from her a "good night." In my room I stood about 5 minutes with a stupid grin on my face. I took a shower and did everything to go to bed. When I finally laid in my bed to sleep I only could think of one person Esdeath. I know I always had a crush on her but I think that today it has become much more everytime she talks to me I feel like I'm floathing and my cheeks begin to burn. I finally went to sleep.

~ timeskip to midnight~

I was awake and couldn't sleep anymore. My mind still lingered around Esdeath and I was thinking if I must go to her room. I had a brave moment and stood up from my bed. I walked over to my door and opened it, when I walked to Esdeath's room and I felt my courage fade away. Without realizing I was already knocking on Esdeath's door. I heard a sleepy "come in" so I walked in the room and closed the door. When I turned around I looked to the bed and saw Esdeath sitting in her bed and I felt the blood rise to my cheeks, I was happy that it was dark in the room. I stood there still frozen because I didn't want her to be angry if I walked up to her. "Come here" I heard so I walked close to her. "What's the problem? Can't sleep or is there something you want to talk about?" She asked me and I just stood beside her and didn't know what to say. Until she grabbed my arm and pulled me over on the bed. I looked very shocked and I felt my whole face become hot and red. "So please tell me what is wrong otherwise I can't help you. You know that you can tell me anything right?" I just nod my head and then remembered that it is dark and she probably didn't saw me nod. "Y-yes I know I just can't sleep and I'm thinking if I'm good enough for your team that's all." Of course I'm not gonna tell her that I'm also thinking about her that would be very akward. "First I have seen you training and I think your good enough otherwise you were still in the other team and second you can sleep here I don't have a problem with it." She said and I began to blush more just thinking about the fact that I can sleep in the same room as her." Okey I will go to the couch over there and sleep there." I wanted to go up but I felt again an arm pull ingevuld me back. "No you sleep in the same bed I won 't bite and the bed is big enough." I just went to lay down next to her and I was sure she could here my heart beating. "Sorry to be a bother to you and also sorry for waking you up and not say sorry first." I felt the weight on the bed shifting and knew that she had turned. "You don't have to say sorry I did tell you to come if you couldn't sleep." She told me but still I felt guilty for waking her up and I turned around to look at her. When I looked in her eyes my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest.

Before I knew it I saw her face come closer. "General Esdeath." I said a little bit in panick because I didn't expect this and not only that but I wanted to kiss her for so long. I got pulled out of my thoughts by a pair of soft cold lips on my own. I looked at Esdeath in shock and before I even could kiss back she broke the contact. "Sorry I shouldn't have done that it's really unproffesional and I understand if you hate me and want to go out of my team." I just looked at her and realised that if I didn't say anything I would break her heart probably. "General could you please look at me?" I asked and I heard a soft answer. "(Y/n) call me Esdeath and not general it's so formal." So I began again but then with a little twist. " General I mean Esdeath could you just look me in the eye?" I asked her and when she finally looked my way and looked me in the eye I just put my lips on top of hers for a gentle kiss.  It didn't take long before she began to kiss back. "Esdeath I have had a crush on you from the first time I saw you and after the competition you set up and found Tatsumi I just gave up on you because I never thougt that I would still had a chance on you. So I want to tell you that I love you and that I would die for you." I said and hoped that she would feel the same and that it wasn't just something from the moment. "(Y/n) I think I love you to. From the time I met you today you have found my interest and I can say that Tatsumi isn't on my mind anymore so there can be love at first sight. And I would freeze the whole world for you if that's what you want." She said back before we ended up in a loving kiss. After that we both fell asleep in each others arms.
