What if [Romeo Juliet Minsung]

Every morning he woke up to an empty space beside him, reminding him he wasn't there, at first he still had the habit of buying his favourite pudding but as days blew buy he's accepted it. He was gone. He no longer roamed these hallways, no longer laughed loud at silly pranks Jisung would do. No more warm home cooked meals made with love, there wasn't a reason for him to smile yet the little girl on the sofa always reminded him, Minho was here. He had left behind a very big part of himself. Their daughter, she was everything Minho was though she had her mother's lips and skin. Infact she was a little Minsung. As a child she always asked him,

"When will Daddy come home?" Every birthday, every occasion. At first he would lie saying he'd show up someday, a secret he told himself. But when little Hyacinth grew to be a beautiful girl of 10 he had to sit her down and explain.

She had cried for hours then days, eventually she came around. She started to accept Daddy was in heaven. She'd call him her guardian angel whenever she'd miraculously saved. Jisung wasn't strong as his daughter, he was weak and pathetic. He still hadn't gotten over the image of waking up to a dead Minho, beside him with blood.

His parents tried to marry him off so he'd move on but he couldn't. 9 months after Minho was buried he gave birth to twins yet one little girl followed Daddy instead of being with Mommy. He was devastated yet when Hyacinth knew of the truth she sat him down at the age on 15 and said,

"Mom he has my little sister so he'd not be lonely. She'll take of Daddy. He loved us so much even though I've never seen him in person I'm sure I felt that." She wasn't wrong, perhaps Minho felt lonely up there? Jisung tried to suck in the sunshine his daughter always had around her but he was in eternal agony of loosing a part of his soul.

After yearning for Minho for years and finally getting together he lost him the following day after they found out he was with child. It hurt and no one quite understood his pain. Chan did of course he lost his lover before his eyes. Each day felt staged with no joy like he was a marionette dancing to the tunes of life.

"Son she needs a father......" His mother had once said.

"Grandma my mother is a man isn't he? If a single mother can play the role of both parents then my father can play both roles too. It's just that Mom will always be Mommy and Dad would be Minho. I'm happy, so is Mom even though he's depressed and he'd soon follow Dad I know I'll be content. I don't want another man ruining what we have. Thank you but Jisung is for Minho and that stays that way." Hyacinth had been barely 14 when she had said that, confidently with her chin helped high. It wasn't pride but the acceptance of her life and the undying love she had for her male mother.

It was around the years of her highschool when she had come home to Jisung, to relate about the boy in her class. He was a year younger with eyes and bulking arms, Jisung had instantly knew he was Changbin's son.    He had Seungmin's height and Changbin's lovely muscles, to add up he loved working out. But as days blew by and Hyacinth fell in love Jisung fell ill.

She knew immediately that her mother was tired of living a life without his Minho, the light of his life. She was understanding and prayed for his happiness. He grew weaker and weaker, would stare at empty walls or her father's picture.

"Mom? Why didn't you follow Dad back then? Uncle Hyunjin said you vowed to end things if Daddy ever died." She had asked one day, carefully tucked in her  mother's arms, in Jisung's fragile old hand as he combed her brown hair. He smiles a little tiredly with a little grunt.

"You......You were the only thing Minho left behind for me. The token of his love for me, he knew I was carrying you even before I did. Oh darling you were the best gift I ever received." Jisung smiles again kissing her forehead one last time just like how he'd kissed her twin before she was buried beside her father.

"Thank you Mom. I love you so much." She was older now, 25 and had   given birth to her son. Happily married to Seungmin's son when Jisung left side his daughter, in the same place Minho had once left him. Quiet and peaceful.

As Jisung was lowered beside his boyfriend Hyacinth cries, not of sadness but of happiness for her mother was put to rest beside whom he's always yearned to be with. He's seen things Minho had been ripped of off, she's sure he'd have so much to relate, 25 years of his life without his heart. He was young but left them before he even turned 49.

"Do you think they'd have a handsome wedding in heaven?" She pouts at her husband.

"Oh dear I bet they would and be so disgustingly in love that your twin sister would have to runaway." He chimes as their baby giggles.

Hyacinth notices her baby looking back at the graves, she giggles for she's learnt that babies were able to see things humans cannot. Perhaps he saw his grandparents and aunt? Finally reunited? Were they waving at  him?

"Until we meet again. Bye!! I love you!" She waves at the graves she's seen since she was 3, first it was only Daddy and Hiraeth but now it was three. With her mother, Lee Jisung. Minho hadn't married him because he left before he could but Jisung had changed his name for he was married to Minho at heart and so he chose to live as his wife.
