I've introduced her to danganronpa and now she's obsessed with Naegami and Byakuya.

Prompt: One of Himiko's magic tricks backfired, and now the ultimate affluent prodigy is a rag doll cat.
This should get interesting.

Warnings: none, this chapter is fluffy.

Makoto Naegi x Byakuya Togami

Makoto's POV

"Byakuya! I'm back from the store!" I called as I walked into my dorm. Normally we would have been in separate dorms but due to Byakuya's current predicament the school has allowed him to stay with me.

      A bubble of worry began filling in my stomach when nothing responded to my call. Had he run out? Was he hurt?

If only I had bothered looking at the top shelf of my bookcase.

After I had taken two steps forward, I felt a sudden furry weigh on my back.

"Oh there you are Byakuya," I smiled, trying to get him off my back. He merely hissed in response.

"Look, I'm sorry I left you home alone. I had to get some cat supplies for you, because you walked by Himiko as she was transforming her rabbit into a cat."

  I think Byakuya grumbled at that, but he finally released his hold on my back.

"Now, I've gotten a lot of cat toys for you, namely a scratching post so that you don't use me as a scratching post anymore," I chuckled. "I've also gotten a laser pointer, cause I wanna see what you do."

   I'm pretty sure Byakuya would have made a commoner comment about the laser pointer then, but as he was unable to speak, no such comment was made.

   To my amusement, Byakuya loved the laser pointer. I'd have to repair the various lamps and potted plants that had been in his way, but at this moment in time, I couldn't care less.

  "Hey, is anybody home?" A new voice called from outside my dorm.

  "Oh, one second, I'm coming!" I responded, quickly getting to the door and opening it.
"Hey Himiko, what brings you here?" I asked.

   "I found out how to undo my spell. Only problem is, it takes up a lot of magical energy-" she yawned midway through her sentence-"so I had to take a really long nap before I got here."

   "Oh, okay, thank you so much," I grinned. "Byakuya, Himiko's here to change you back!" I called.

   I swear that cat destroyed the other half of my dorm in his rush to the front door.

  "Abracadabra bippidi do," Himiko chanted, waving a wand over Byakuya and covering him with a tablecloth. When she jerked the tablecloth away, Byakuya the cat was gone.

   "I have the biggest headache right now," he grumbled, rubbing his temples.

  "I'd think so," I replied. "Himiko turned you into a cat."

  Himiko murmured something about replenishing her magical energy and left. Meanwhile, I helped Byakuya to his feet.

  "Naegi, I was under the impression that your dorm would be more...clean than this."

   "Normally, it is, but you chased a laser pointer and it was adorab-" I tried to cut myself off before I said too much, but I had failed at that.

   "You're one to talk about being adorable," he mumbled, a light blush gracing his cheeks.

"Wait, you think I'm adorable?" I squeaked, my face heating up immensely.

"No, you're just more...pleasant than the other plebeians in our class. Anyways, thank you for letting my cat form stay but it's time I headed back to my own dorm again."

"Wait! Before you go..." I couldn't finish my sentence, but let the action of hugging him speak for me. It took a second, but he huffed and returned my hug.

Surprisingly, he didn't let go of the hug as quick as I thought.

Unexpectedly though, I felt my eyes begin to water.

"Why are you crying Naegi?" He asked when he finally released the hug and got a good look at my face.

Embarrassed, I wiped my tears away and looked away from him. "I'm gonna be in an empty dorm tonight," I sniffed. "I'm gonna miss you."

"You do know that we are in the same class, correct?"

"I know but...but I've gotten used to having you-well, a cat version of you in my dorm with me."

Byakuya sighed and got down to face level with me.

"Meet me at the front of the school tomorrow. Don't keep me waiting."

He didn't give me very long to respond until he-well, to put it simply, kiss me.

A chorus of cheers rang outside my dorm, and I hid my face in my hands when I remembered that my door was still open.

"Atua has surely blessed you two for allowing this union to occur!" Someone said.

"I told you guys that I was a mage. Only someone with magic could have brought them together," Himiko grinned.

"Wait, the cat incident wasn't an accident?" I wondered aloud.

"No, Himiko and Angie heard from Ibuki who heard from Sayaka that you had a crush on each other, so they made this large plan to get you two together," this person was dressed in what looked like a maid outfit. I think her name was Kirumi?

"So? Did Ibuki's plan work?" Ibuki, I think, asked.

Byakuya and I locked eyes for a moment before slowly nodding in agreement.

Thankfully, that seemed to satisfy the crowd and they quickly dispersed.

   "I'll see you tomorrow then, Togami," I smiled, my grin barely containing my excitement.

   "I'll look forward to it, Naegi," he replied.

     With that, he slipped out of my dorm, the mess behind me and the color on my cheeks the only reminders that he had ever been in my dorm.

  I hope y'all enjoyed this oneshot! This was my fourth time making a canon character x canon character and the first boy x boy of the book.
