For this years thanksgiving it was going to be special. First off it was the first thanksgiving you and jungkook had since getting married, and secondly both of your parents were going to come over to your house. Which meant both of you had to cook the thanksgiving feast.

At first you thought it would be easy, but as time went on and more mistakes happened, well you both were regretting taking on such a big task.

Inviting Jin over he would help the both of you cook, making the dishes at least edible and actually tasteful. When the parents came over the both of you were a mess of nerves, Jin had left so now it was up to you to play hostess. While jungkook finished up the food in the kitchen.

You were very hesitant at first, nervously playing with your fingers while you talked with your step mom and dad. Your own parents going into the kitchen and talking to an equally anxious jungkook. But soon enough the awkwardness broke off and you were laughing along with them.

Dinner was served and everyone ate so much, it was all so delicious and laughter filled the air. Once it was time for them to leave you and jungkook plopped down exhausted on the couch, glad that the house was empty again once more.

To try to ignore the stack of dishes in the sink jungkook would nuzzle his face by your neck, holding you close and whispering why he was so thankful to have you in his life. You just grinned back and stroked his hair, the low hum of a kdrama on the tv becoming the perfect background noise.
