Standing outside of the BigHit Entertainment public auditions in LA, all alone, was not the way you wanted to start out your summer.

Instead since the beginning of the year you envisioned lazy days of hanging out at the beach in Hawaii, where you live. I mean seriously, going from Hawaii to California takes a lot out of you.

You're basically a living walking corpse, just wanting to fall on the burning sidewalk and sleep for a few hours.

At the same time, also wondering what people would say if they found your body on the pavement as well.

Would they automatically asume you're dead and just leave you on the cold floor?

Or would they wake you up so people don't step on you, I mean how should you know how LA people act?!

Your mum and sister are at the hotel, they had no idea the only reason you came to LA was because of this audition. Okay and sightseeing was also another main reason for coming here.

You're going to be leaving later on today to catch the plane back to Hawaii. But on your walk here you have to admit you chickened out a lot, basically during the whole trip you were asking yourself if you were crazy.

But then again aren't all the best people a bit bonkers?

Unfortunately your brain didn't listen and that's why you are currently glaring at the building.

Oh and feeling like you wanted to barf from nervousness and worry. Also having a bunch of emotions rushing through you, that you were definitely not going to sort out at the moment.

With a shaking sigh you walked up to the line, yes there was a gigantic line outside the building. Isn't there always in these types of cases?

It was an even bigger line then the one at the BigBang concert you went to in Hawaii, that was amazing.

Shuffling your feet you looked at the ground and took your place all the way in the back of the line, trying not to faint.

Or drop dead,

or suffocate from lack of air.

You didn't even want to be here in the first place, it was your grandma that made you come here.

With the thought of your grandma in your mind, it took all your will to make sure you didn't start to cry in front of everyone like a lunatic. You loved her so much, the both of you would always hang out together on weekends in her little cottage. You could still remember the lemonade she'd make especially for you, with the small sugar cookies.

Before she passed away a few months ago, you went to visit her in the hospital. She had another heart attack, the doctor said, but you weren't worried. She usually always had one every once in a while, but she turns out fine in the end.

The last time you saw her, something was troubling her. She never said exactly what, but now after it happened...did she somehow knew she wouldn't be here for much longer? You hoped not...that's an awful burden to have.

Anyway though she took your hands and made you promise to try out for, and or audition for a music company.

At that time you didn't really think much about it, I mean you promised and all but you thought she was joking.

Like really,
audition for a music company?
Hell no, you know you wouldn't make it out alive.

You used to always sing with your grandma in the house though, English and sometimes Kpop. You loved kpop, basically obsessed with it.

The only person who ever heard you sing was your grandma. Time after time she would tell you that you should join your schools chorus.

First off for one you are very unsocial, basically have no friends at school and not in any clubs.

Sure you could make friends if you wanted too... you just don't.

Second of all, you knew yourself as the plain 13 year old middle school student with no talents at all. Like how is a person like you able to have a chance at stardom?

None that's what, evidently you don't see the logic in that at all.

So you always shrugged her off, but ever since she....passed away...you promised yourself that you would try out. For her, because that was the last thing she asked anyone. You could put away your pride for your grandma right? It's the least you could do.

Of course you didn't tell my mom, she wouldn't understand. If you told your sister she would just tattle on you too, she loves to get you in trouble.

You don't have any friends at school ether, so basically no one knows that your here except yourself. No one knows you sing except for your grandma for gods sake!

The line moved an inch at a time, but soon you got to the front. By that time though, you were feeling really stupid. As you were waiting in line all these people were practicing...and they were good. Definitely better then yourself was all that was going through your head. Making you question why you were here in the first place.

However, then you thought of your grandma.

With a sigh you pushed away the worry, and a few pieces of hair that got in your face. Just a few hours and you'll be done, hopefully you don't embarrass yourself on an extreme level.

"Next," the lady barked out looking at her clipboard. You quickly scampered forward into the building, not looking back in case the lady wanted to scream again at you.

There was a gigantic room filled with chairs in random clumps, and a desk with a stack of papers in the front.

The lady behind the desk waved you forward with her hand, steading your breathing as you took the application she silently gave you with your shaking fingers.

Your nerves were all over the place, and you didn't even audition yet!

With a relived sigh you sat down, alone in a corner of the room, and took out your pen. You started to fill out the form, the task setting your nerves at ease for a while.

The back was a contract but you didn't really read it, why did you have to? You wouldn't get in anyway, so you just signed your name and quickly walked up to the front. Putting your application on the stack of other ones, the lady behind the desk didn't even give you a glance. So you took that as your cue to go back and sit down in the corner.

When you turned back though, another girl was sitting next to your seat. She had black hair and no makeup, yet she still managed to look beautiful. This confidence was radiating off her, it also shown in the lazy way she sat.

When she turned and saw you staring at her though, you didn't know what to do...it looked like she could kill you with one glare. Gulping you looked down, awkwardly walking to your way to the empty seat beside her.

This wasn't going to turn out good at all.
