"Aw, I lost..." I pout a little as I watched my blue haired opponent slide down into the arena and pick up both beys. She climbs back up and hands me mine.
"But it was a really good fight. Look at how we destroyed the arena!"
True to her word, the area around us was completely decimated.
"Yeah, but I still lost..."
"I know what will make you feel better! Let's go get ice cream (Or Italian ice if you're lactose intolerant)!"
I perk up a little and nod, making a mental note to have Madoka look at them later. Hikaru grins and takes my hand," then let's go! I know a really good place not too far from here."
She tugs me along until I catch up and then just holds my hand until we get there, a little shop between two bigger ones. She holds the door for me and I thank her quietly before looking at the menu. I take a minute before choosing (choice) and ordering it from the employee. I take out my wallet to pay but Hikaru beats me (again) to it.
"Riku, let me pay! I lost the battle!"
"Now why would I do that? Doesn't seem fair to win and get free ice cream."
I pout but take the treat and plop down at the barstools.
"Aw, is someone upset that they couldn't pay?" She teases before tasting her chocolate.
I feel myself blush and take a bite to ignore her. Strangely, she leaves me alone for a few minutes before stealing a bite from my spoon.
"H-Hey!" I steal hers and she grins.
"There we go! All happy again." I pause before realizing I was barely smiling.
"You're too cute, you know that?"
