'I-I lost?' The words rang in Damian's mind as his bey smoked at his feet, chipped, still, and defeated.
"You're weak! Nothing more than the others. And I thought I'd get a challenge out of you; guess not." His opponent walked away after catching his bey.

Damian fell to his knees and held his bey," I-I lost. I'm so sorry, (y/n). I couldn't win..."

"Damian, it was a battle for fun. Not my life,"I giggled as I crouched beside him and smiled," besides, there's always someone better than us. That's life. That's why we battle, to get better and stronger. So we can push each other. Its ok to lose; we all do eventually. What's not ok, is moping about it and not not getting back up, brushing off the dirt, and asking yourself,' what can I do better? What will help me win?' Come on, let's head to my place."

Damian nodded as I heaved him to his feet and pushed him slightly," come on, slowpoke!"

I raced ahead and looked back to see a small smile make its way onto his face," you better start running, (y/n)! I'm coming!"

He barreled his way towards me and I squealed, racing off towards my house.
He eventually caught me and held me tightly so I couldn't escape," gotcha..."
I squirmed and he chuckled, tightening his grip on my waist. I huffed after realizing the futility of struggling and turned around to be met by a smirk and eyes sparkling with mischief.

"I don't know what I'd do without you, (y/n)." He walked me backwards until I was pressed into a wall. He leaned down to my ear as his hands trailed down my sides," I know I wouldn't be able to do, say, this!"

His fingers sprang into action, tickling my sides and neck. I screamed, laughed, and squirmed as he pinned me down on the floor, keeping me somewhat still as he continued his tickling barrage," s-stop! P-please!"

"Say it." He grinned.

"F-fine! Damian is the best blader I've ever known and will ever know!" I choked out between laughs and he stopped.
I panted, trying to catch my breath as he leaned down to my level," I love you, (y/n)."
"I-I love y-you t-too." I grinned at him
