Synopsis: In which (Y/n), the well-known Cupid, has a certain idol as her target.
(lots of angst in the previous oneshots so I think a comedic one would suffice for this one)

。。。。

(Y/n) was famous in heaven.

It wouldn't be shocking as she is the Goddess of Love, the successor of Cupid. But it is more than her position in Heaven. As Cupid qualified (Y/n) to become the perfect shot and trained her everything to fight and become graceful, he soon retired to savor the red wine and limitless amount of grapes and wealth with the other Gods.

(Y/n) didn't mind taking up the job of Cupid though, she loved discovering the mortals' content. She fell in love with the mortal culture and lifestyle. Her stubbornness to integrate mortal materials into Heaven brought uniqueness and gave her attention and respect. It was as if she was the spokesperson for humans. Of course, what comes with unfamiliar behavior comes suspicions and enemies. She did have many angels and spirits against her but she didn't care for them. (Y/n) was fascinated with how humans work and sometimes she would cry for them if they couldn't do it themselves. But her tears and sadness affect part of the world. People who were passionate about love would feel her pain and feel immense sadness for no apparent reason.

She was that powerful. But she didn't acknowledge this much.

All in all, she enjoyed the mortals. She enjoyed them much more than Heaven. She would often bend the rules to let her walk on earth as a visible being sometimes, just to take in the scent and feeling of the world God had designed. It really was taken for granted though. Even then, if mortals forgot all about her or never saw her, she felt obligated to the mortals.

She loved them.

But that could just be the pureness of her heart speaking.

Her heart may be pure but that didn't mean everything else was pure...

"What the f(lippity flop) is this go(odboi) bulls(eye)!" (Y/n) screeched as she threw chips at the flat screen TV. It played a soft melody signifying the end of her favorite K-Drama. Heaven may be in the clouds but it didn't mean that they were keeping up with modern technology. Her foul language was what made her catch Cupid's eye. She wasn't just a normal angel all sweet and pure, but a chaotic, down-to-earth girl.

"(Y/n)! What did I tell you about using God's name in vain?!" (Y/n)'s best friend, Jin, scolded her. (Y/n) rolled her eyes at the worldwide handsome man.

"Sorry eomma-" She was interrupted.

"I'm a man! Not a woman-"

"-I swear it won't happen again." (Y/n) cut him off with a grin while finishing her sentence.

"You say that every time. You should be aware that I won't bust you out of falling if the archangels come." Jin warned.

"Yeah-Yeah, you say that a lot. But I won't get nabbed because I'm practically a Goddess in their eyes." (Y/n) countered while offering Jin the bag. With a click of his tongue, Jin sat down and grabbed a handful.

"That's the thing, you are a goddess. You should be setting an example for your pupils-" He was cut off with a snort.

"What pupils? I'm not dying or falling anytime soon, Jin. No need to worry, my dear." (Y/n) laughed as he stuffed his mouth to stop bickering with her. He comprehended that she would always find a way to counter his arguments and insults.

"Anyways, you should be getting to work," Jin warned her, glancing at the pastel (f/c) clock on the wall.

"Ah, s(ugarpiehoneybun). Thanks for my daily dose of morning nagging eomma~" (Y/n) said and pecked Jin's cheek with a sloppy, wet kiss before running out the door. Before she closed the door she could hear him screech.

"EWWW WHAT THE HELL! YOU KNOW IM GAY FOR-" The door shuts.

Yeah, Heaven truly was a weird place.

"Annnndddddd...that's a hit!" (Y/n) cheered from the rooftop of an office building. She was currently performing her job of being Cupid and making the fanfiction-worthy content for the mortal writers. She beamed as the girl bumped into him and he dropped his glasses. They started quarreling but soon left each other while having the other in their minds. Yes, (Y/n) was the one who commenced these scenarios and made them happen. The couple's relationship may be bumpy at first and it might start out as hate but sooner or later they'd fall in love and live a happy life.

(Y/n) sighed and leaned against her palm before admiring the city view of the Korean streets and lights. She had one more couple to pair before she could go back to heaven and devour the delicious food Jin had prepared for her. (Y/n) took out the scroll of paper to search for the location of the guy. After successfully shooting the name, the soulmate's name would show up right next to his name and (Y/n) had the responsibility to shoot the soulmate to seal the deal.

(Y/n) smiled at the long list of names and how many diverse people came together today. She remembered seeing a gay couple scream at each other before passionately confessing their love to each other from her shot. She read the name and embedded it into her mind.

Jeon Jungkook

"Oooh, wonderful. He's Korean too, so he shouldn't be too far." (Y/n) hummed and let her wings unfurl from behind her. She didn't have to worry about the mortals noticing her, she was technically a spirit. The arrows were a different story though. It was incredibly dangerous to miss a shot and she could potentially be discovered but of course - (Y/n) didn't really care about that. She did trick shots and sometimes joke around with the target before shooting them. She had never missed a shot, ever. Which was why she was fancied. She was a prodigy.

(Y/n) lit up as she found her target alone in a dance room. He seemed to be an idol of some sort seeing how large the building was and the multitude of famous people and workers walking in and out. (Y/n) landed before the building and her wings vanished. She walked in while maneuvering through the crowd of people. It was almost evening, most of the people must be on their way home.

Though she was invisible, it didn't mean that her presence was unknown. She could shove someone and they'd fall. Or brush into someone and they'd bump into the person behind them. They could also hear whenever she talked so she stayed silent. She noticed how the mood instantly rose as she walked through and smiles started rising on the mortals' faces. (Y/n) smiled at the thought of what her simple presence could do. She slipped into the elevators and moved to the floor where her target was. She didn't need to worry about anything at the moment, she knew her feet would immediately take her to her desired destination. She quietly opened a door that revealed a large, white dance room. The door shut quietly as the music pumping through the speakers muffled its sound.

(Y/n) looked up at her target and almost gasped in awe. He was hot as f(ettuccine alfredo). He was dancing intensely to a song that he must've sung in since he was mouthing some lyrics. He was all alone, dancing to the music with all his heart. His large white shirt sometimes teased his abs and his Timbs would move across the floor as if they were ballet shoes. (Y/n) checked the time once again and allowed herself to gawk at the male a little longer. She noiselessly moved to the back of the room and observed as he danced. She never really got to meet idols much, since their career didn't allow them to date. (Y/n) cringed at the last idol couple she had to put together, they were broken up now but they were fated together. They'd run back into each other's arms sooner or later.

After about an hour or two of watching him practice to multiple songs he seemed to mumble to himself, "One more song then I'll go home."

She was shook. How the fu(rtastic) did she know Korean?! She had to watch subtitles back in her room so why now? (Y/n) suddenly remembered the food Jin was making tonight so she got up promptly. She was sure as hell that Jin would get enraged at her if she wasn't home on time.

(Y/n) flexed her hand and a bow and arrow materialized in it. It was an easy shot, only a few meters away. It wasn't like the one earlier when she was on top of a 20 story building shooting down at a couple on the sidewalk. She marked his movements delicately and remembered this was the dance that she walked into earlier. If she could predict his movements then she would get a good hit.

"He's going to go...left. Oh okay, right. Now he jumps - he crouches. Okay, what the hell is this bullshi(takimushrooms)." (Y/n) mumbled, not worried that he'll hear her since he was so focused. (Y/n) shrugged and decided to wing it and shoot somewhere. She knew it would always hit her target, she never missed a shot.

She breathed in and pulled back the string and aiming. He would go right this time, she was confident. With an exhale, she flawlessly let go and watched as the arrow flew. Horror soon emerged on her face as the arrow went to the right and he went to the left. The arrow pierced the floor giving him time to notice it. He stumbled back with a cry of surprise before the arrow disappeared and no trace of it was left behind.

Jungkook looked up to see an (h/c) female in all white with a bow and arrow. He stared in shock before the situation dawned on him. He screamed and stumbled backward until his back hit the wall. (Y/n) groaned and rubbed her face.

"...Motherf(antastic 4)!"
