You had just finished a case in Coquile OR, the same place you had shown your horse in the county fair and taken swimming lessons as a little girl. This case had been stressful and that was putting it lightly. Everyone had taken a hard hit with this one but Spencer looked like he was about to drop. So, being familiar with the area, you insisted on showing Spencer the best two beaches known to man: and just outside of Bandon. They had been your safe place growing up and whenever you came home. Spencer needed a safe place right now.

The best part was the plane was delayed at least ten hours because of electrical storms around Quantico.

"Hey Hotch, can I go home for a bit?" You asked.

He gave you a quizzical look, "I grew up just a few towns over. There's the best beaches in the world and I just need to unwind." You explained.

He nodded, "The pilot says things are getting worse so as long as you can be back here in under an hour when we call I see no reason why not."

You grinned from ear to ear and waited for him to call after you like you knew he would.

"Take Morgan or Reid with you! I don't want you getting in trouble!" He called.

You gave him a thumbs up as you backed out the door and sprinted off to get Spencer.

-

"Where on earth are we going?" Spencer asked as he peered out the car window, watching the scenery of the Oregon coast fly by.

"I told you, the most peaceful place on earth." You insisted as you signaled to get back onto highway 101.

"Beaches are hardly peacefull (Y/N)." He started, "The waves are loud and there's people that bring dogs and kids and kites-"

"Oo! The kites are so much fun! We should stop by my Grampa's and see if they still have my old one before we get to Whiskey Run." You lightly slapped his knee earning a little bit of a glare.

"Bacteria." He stated as if he was trying to change your mind about beaches.

"Immune systems." You argued.

"Wild animals." He insisted.

You laughed in a loud nearly mocking tone, "I've spent most of my life on these beaches and only seen four seals on shore."

"Sand."

"Oh Spence that's the best part." You gushed, "It's soft and warm on your feet this time of year and every once in a while the wind will whip just a tad bit quicker so you can feel it hitting your ankles... I swear to God, Spence. There is nothing on this planet better than these beaches."

He rolled his eyes but you caught a glimpse of a smile tugging at his lips.

-

There weren't any cars in Grandpa's driveway so you turned around and headed back toward the beach kiteless. The closer you got to the shore the more excited you got and the more nervous Spencer seemed to get. It might have had something to do with the road starting to wind and twist down a ravine, but you didn't notice it: this was your home turf.

"Okay, are you ready for this?" You asked him in excitement.

He heaved a great dramatic sigh, "If a tsunami hits and we die it's your fault." He grumbled.

You rolled your eyes and took a gamble by grabbing his hand and leading him down to the beach.

As you emerged from the rocky path bordered by tall grass and gorse you both stopped for a moment and took in your surroundings.

The tide was out and the stream that ran next to the parking lot was bubbling away off to your right, just barely audible above the calming slosh of the waves. The sun was out but the thin cloud cover made it the perfect temperature and there was barely a lick of wind. It was the perfect beach day and the beach was empty save the two of you. Old glass bottles littered the grass line, smoothed out by the salt of the ocean waves and drift wood piled up in the rocks of the stream. The cliffs of gorse were in full yellow bloom and your favorite cliff to climb was just barely a 15 minute walk down the beach. Nothing was out of place.

You completely forgot you were holding Spencer's hand until he squeezed it to get your attention, "I was wrong. This is amazing."

"I told you." You gloated with a grin.

You spent a couple hours on this beach, talking, walking, teaching him the art of picking your way across driftwood without falling in the water, and listening to him rattle off facts about the creatures you found in the tide pools. You rolled up your pants and sprinted into the waves and scared flocks of seagulls away like little children.

You felt like a small girl in love again. In love not only with the coast but Spencer too.

His reactions to things you had always thought of as common knowledge or something everyone does were adorable. When you told him to take off his shoes and socks you could have kissed that surprised little look. With his eyebrows arched almost up into his hairline and his eyes wide, mouth in the shape of a small oval, you had to remind yourself that this wasn't dream land and your actions had lasting consequences here.

As you were both leaning over a pool counting the anemones, shoulders nearly touching, your stomach growled.

Spencer turned his head and suppressed a smile, "Someone's hungry." He stated.

Wow he's close.

You just nodded, knowing that if you spoke you wouldn't have a filter, and once again grabbed his hand, pulling him back to the car.

"What exactly are you allergic to food-wise?" You asked as you swung into the driver seat.

"Technically dairy, but that's more of an intolerance not quite allergy. I absolutely cannot do truffles. Shrimp makes my stomach hurt but that's it." He answered.

"Good. Then we're going to Tony's." You announced as you sped up the hill and away from the beach.

You took him to the best little crab shack on the boardwalk and ordered for him, the Clam Chowder and a side cup of the crab Tony had caught that day. You had to kick Spencer under the counter so he could give you an excuse to go sit down because the lady at the register had gone to high school with your dad and wouldn't shut up.

"Oh wow. This is actually really good." Spencer muttered after his first bite.

You nodded, "I know right? How's your tongue? No swelling? You're still alive?"

He laughed and swatted your hand away from where you were checking his pulse on his neck, "I'm fine. I've had clams and crab before!"

You giggled and picked at your crab, "So tell me Dr Genius: how do you feel about beaches now?"

"They're amazing." He admitted.

"I told you!" You smirked.

He shook his head and smiled, "I've been to beaches before but this one... You made it different. You made it beautiful." His voice was barely above a whisper by the time he finished speaking but that didn't stop his words from ringing in your ears.

Playing it safe, you smiled and continued conversation as normal but you couldn't help thinking about what he meant by that.

-

After lunch you drove out the the Bullard's state park beach. You parked about a quarter mile from the beach at the horse trails and received a funny look from Spencer.

"I don't see water."

You giggled, "Don't worry I know where we're going."

You led the way towards the horse trails and ignored the concerned looks you continued getting. You walked through the winding rows of trees along the sand path until it broke out into the dunes. Rolling hills covered in beach grass and Shore Pines stretched out as far as the eye could see, or so it seemed. You, however, knew better. Just over that sea wall was the ocean.

"For a second there I thought you were going to make me ride a horse." He joked.

You gave a little giggle, "Nope. If you ever come back we can give Grama fair warning and take the horses out here though."

His face was priceless, "Uh... I'll just walk alongside."

You smirked again, "Have fun keeping up. We fly through here."

There was a brief silence as you came to the deeper sand of the trail and hopped up onto the beach grass.

"Is this where you come on holidays?" Spencer asked.

You nodded and continued leading him along the trail that you knew was ending soon.

"Did you know that most Shore Pines, if rooted in ideal conditions, would grow twenty to thirty feet tall but the winds and sand prevent most of them from ever getting above ten feet?" he asked.

"Nope, but hurry up, you're going to love this." you urged as you began trudging up the hill.

At least I hope they're here.

Score. As you crested the hill and took in the miles of beach visible you noticed the piles of driftwood that seemed to be just a bit too organized to have landed that way.

"Are those..."

"Drift wood houses. Well that's what we call them. They're not actually houses, just forts that people make. They have a contest at the end of the summer so people come out and practice for it." You informed him, pleased with your ability to drop some knowledge instead of picking it up like always. You searched for a place to walk down to the shore but the tide had caused the sand cliffs once again and you would have had to walk quite a ways to get down and have any hope of getting back up.

"Don't worry about it (Y/N). We can just look." Spencer assured you, his voice soft and deadly attractive as the light wind tossed his hair around his eyes.

As if on cue to ruin the moment, your phones buzzed with a text from Hotch saying the plane leaves at 9pm.

"We should probably be getting back soon." Spencer sighed.

You smiled and watched him as he gazed out at the ocean, looking calmer than you'd seen him in weeks, "Let's just sit for ten more minutes. Then we can head back." you bargained as you sat yourself down on a particularly tall clump of beach grass and motioned for him to take the one next to you.

After a minute of silence you felt a hand slip into yours, "You were right. This is paradise." he whispered.

Your heart skipped a beat before you made a snap decision and laid your head on his shoulder, "Yeah... Yeah it really is..."

The wind picked up a bit so you instinctively snuggled closer to Spencer's body heat and he let go of your hand to wrap his arm around your waist. You could have stayed there forever. As the tide rolled in you realized it must be around three or four and you still had a forty five minute drive back to Coquile to pack up and get to the airport.

"If we don't want to walk to the car in the dark we should probably go..." You sighed.

Spencer nodded and helped you up, holding onto your hand all the way back to the car sending your heart racing at about a million miles a minute.

You were just about ready to let go of his hand to walk around to the driver side of the car when he squeezed your hand and pulled you to a stop.

"You okay?" You asked, noticing his worried expression and how his tongue kept darting over his lips.

"We've got four point eight hours until the team will start to worry about us." He stated.

"Well there's not much of a night scene in this town..." You muttered, not sure where he was taking this.

"I just don't want to go back" he admitted, "Being with you all day, talking and just being in your presence makes me happy. I like being able to hold your hand and not get weird looks from Derek or Emily. I like whatever it is we've been doing today and I don't want it to end."

Your mouth twitched into a smile, "Neither do I." You found his other hand and tangled your fingers with his. You stayed in this position with him for a while, watching wheels turn in his head.

He seemed to come to a decision and let go of your hands to placed a hand on either side of your face crashing his lips to yours.

You barely had time to react and kiss back before he pulled away, "That was okay right? I'm not breaking any rules or-"

"You are but I like it." You interrupted, clutching his tie and pulling yourself flush to him as you connected your lips to his and kept them there.

You may have been in puppy love all day but in an instant you were grown ups again and neither of you showed any hesitation.

His hands roamed around your hips and gripped them tight when you dragged your teeth across his bottom lip.

"God I've wanted to do that for so long..." You whispered, hands trailing down his chest as he peppered your jaw and neck with kisses.

He hummed in response sending the vibrations through your collar bone. Your fingers hooked in his belt loop and tugged his hips to yours. You smirked when you felt his erection against your hips but the look was soon wiped off your face when he pressed you up against the side of the SUV.

"Back seat or front?" You asked breathlessly as you undid his belt.

His answer was to yank open the back door and spin so he was backed into the opening. You thanked yourself for parking in the trees rather than on the side of the road as you swiftly took off his tie and tossed it in the backseat. When your hands finally finished fiddling with the button and zipper on his pants you had shimmied your way into the backseat. You separated for a moment to yank the door closed after you and what you were doing actually sank it. Not that I really changed the flow of events.

"We aren't telling the team that we fucked in the car right?" You asked leaning over him and placing kisses on his jawline while you unbuttoned his shirt.

"Absolutely not. Maybe a bathroom or something if they ask, but not the car." He agreed, tugging your shirt over your head.

You popped the last button and moved your kisses slowly downward, lightly trailing your nails down past his navel as if you were drawing your path. When you got to his waistband you heard him gasp. Smirking, you tugged his pants down and snapped the elastic on his briefs.

"Teasing isn't fair." He whined, rolling his head back and gripping the headrest on either side of him.

"No" you agreed, "but it's so much more fun." As you shimmied his briefs down his legs he scooted so he was somewhat propped up against the door.

You took a moment to venture back up to his waist once you saw what you'd uncovered. He was much bigger than you had expected. You could feel yourself growing wetter as you slunk back up and gripped him at the base, slowly running your hand up his shaft until you reached the tip. You pressed your tongue to his tip as you let your hand travel back down to his based eliciting a moan from his lips.

Oh god... Music to my ears.

You wrapped your mouth around him, swirling your tongue around his tip waiting until you heard another moan to bob your head. His moans and swearing made your core throb for attention. You couldn't have unbuttoned your jeans without pausing your actions so you were reduced to palming yourself with your free hand when you had the balance. You worked what you couldn't fit of his dick in your mouth with your other hand and looked up when you felt a twitch.

"I- (y/n) pull off. I don't want to cum in your mouth." Spencer gasped as he gently tugged at your hair.

You kissed your way back up his torso pausing every so often to suck, making sure you'd leave a mark.

When you got to his neck and your hips were aligned over his you rolled them down and ground the fabric of your jeans over his length.

He moaned again, gripping your hips and pushing you back so he could sit up.

"I'm on the pill. Don't even hesitate." You panted as his hands quickly removed your jeans and panties.

His fingers dipped between your folds, finally giving you some sort of much needed friction, "Oh but then you would miss this."

A moan escaped your lips as he worked your clit, whispering sweet nothings in your ear as he laid you on your back, your hands gripping his shoulders as he brought you closer and closer to your orgasm. His fingers dipping in and out of you, simultaneously keeping friction at your clit. You felt a familiar pull in the pit of your stomach as his fingers curled inside you and your back arched. In an instant his hand was gone, your core left cold and wet.

He kissed along your collarbone up to behind your ear where he sucked at your skin before turning his head slightly to whisper, "Top or bottom?"

Holy Hell that was attractive.

It took you a moment to get past the way his words sounded, coming out desperate and raged, before you could register the meaning behind them.

"I don't know... I've never had car sex before..." You admitted, "Trial and error?"

"If we're talking angles..." He began to answer before trailing off with a smirk.

He even makes geek talk sexy.

"Bottom. Now." You insisted, hooking one leg around his waist.

He quickly obeyed, lining himself up before slowly sliding in. You gasped and it took you a few moments to adjust and let your breath out. He kissed your face and neck as he let you adjust, waiting ever so patiently for the go ahead.

The instant you rolled your hips there was nothing but bliss. He immediately reacted with slow, powerful thrusts, causing your bodies to squeak on the leather and the shocks to bounce. You crossed your ankles behind his back and brought your knees up as high as you could to, as he said, get the best angle.

No doubt your moans and strings of profanity were audible outside the car but neither of you cared. You began getting slightly frustrated with the confinement of the backseat when you could only spread your legs as wide as the backrests and console would allow.

"Spence- OH god. Can we- ooohhhhh!" You tried to get a word in but being the screamer you were, nothing but moans of pleasure and the beginnings of sentences were making their way out of your mouth.

"You want to ride don't you?" He nearly growled in your ear.

All you could do was moan and nod as he thrust into you again with a tad more force.

He slipped a hand under your back and pulled you close to him before sitting up and taking you with him.

After a moment or two of adjustments he was seated in the middle seat while you straddled his dick. Even without thrusts you knew this was better, you had more room to move. You attempted to kiss as you started to gyrate your hips but settled for pressing your foreheads together. His hands trailed up your thighs and grasped your ass, lifting slightly signaling he wanted you to bounce. You gladly obliged and he began thrusting up to meet you.

"Oh my fuck..." You breathed, squeezing your eyes shut in pleasure.

One of your hands tangled in his hair while the other one held the backrest for support even though you would normally be helping yourself along. Spencer began to twitch and you sped up your pace, grinning and placing little pecks in the vicinity of his mouth. His hand moved from your ass to work your clit, causing your legs to begin feeling weak.

"T-tell me when you're close." He breathed, rubbing Faster and thrusting harder.

"Hmmmmmmh. Now?" You answered matching his pace and running your hand down his neck to his chest where it stayed.

With three more thrusts your orgasm hit you and your walls contracted around him, sending him over the edge as well.

You rode out your orgasms, clinging to each other and moaning the other's name. When you came down from your high you scooted back and laid your head on his chest, giggling a little bit.

"What's so funny?" He asked, kissing the top of your head and rubbing his hands up and down your back.

"Top was definitely better." You sighed in contentment.

"Agreed. But that could have just been a fluke." He pointed out, earning a confused look from you before he continued, "To be scientifically accurate we should test this at least three more times. Possibly in other settings. Like my bed after we land."

You giggled and rolled off of him, snatching your panties off the floor, "If I wasn't so loud I would suggest the plane bathroom, but..."

He laughed and grabbed his briefs, following your lead and redressing before you both hopped back into the front seats.

-

"So how was your beach day?" Emily asked when you two finally made it back to the hotel. The whole team was waiting in the lobby since you were going out to dinner.

"Great!" Spencer supplied.

JJ and Derek cocked their eyebrows at you and shared a glance signaling that you didn't fool anyone but they weren't going to say anything.

Hotch smirked as he led everyone back out to the SUV, "I thought you hated beaches Reid."

"Tainted ones yes." He answered, trying his best not to smile like a twelve year old as he slid into the back seat next to you.

"I'm persuasive." You added, thinking you were quite funny.

Derek who had taken the backseat dangled something between you two, "Oh I bet you were." He chuckled, dropping the tie in Spencer's lap.

There were a round of "OOOHHHHHH!"s before everyone else fell into a fit of laughter.

"We kinda figured it out when you were missing the tie." Dave informed you in a teasing tone.

You buried your face in Spencer's shoulder, "So much for not telling them"
