The room was dimly lit, the glow of neon signs filtering through the blinds and casting vivid streaks of pink and purple across the walls. Hyun sat on the plush velvet couch, his gaze fixated on Sully. She moved like smoke, deliberate yet untouchable, her black satin dress clinging to her frame like a second skin. She was the kind of woman who didn't just walk into a room—she claimed it.

Hyun's heart pounded as Sully leaned in, her perfume a heady mix of jasmine and mystery. She trailed her fingers along his jawline, her touch both electrifying and gentle, leaving him helpless in her hands.

"You're mine, aren't you?" she whispered, her voice laced with a playful edge. She didn't wait for his answer. She never did. Sully always knew.

Hyun nodded, his throat dry. "You know I am."

Sully smiled, a wicked curve of her lips that made his knees weak. She sank down beside him, her legs crossing elegantly as she reached for a glass of wine on the low table. Hyun watched her every move like a moth drawn to a flame, unable to pull away even if he wanted to. And he didn't. Sully had that effect on him. She was the puppeteer, and he her willing marionette.

"Why do you do this to me?" Hyun's voice was quiet, almost a whisper. "You play with me, Sully. I'm not made of stone, you know."

Sully's hand froze mid-air, her fingers just brushing the rim of her glass. For a fleeting moment, something flickered in her eyes—guilt, or maybe fear. But then it was gone, replaced by her usual enigmatic smile. She set the glass down, untouched, and turned to him.

"Shh," she murmured, pressing a single finger to his lips. "Don't ruin it, darling."

"Ruin what?" Hyun's voice cracked. "This? Us? I don't even know what we are, Sully. I love you. I've told you that. But you—you never say it back. Why?"

She looked at him, her dark eyes unreadable. Then she tilted her head and smiled, leaning in close enough that he could feel her breath on his skin. "You don't need words, Hyun. Words are overrated. What we have is... beyond that."

He shook his head, frustration bubbling to the surface. "It's not beyond words, Sully. It's just... it's you avoiding them. Avoiding me."

Sully's smile faltered, just for a second. But she recovered quickly, her hand brushing through his hair with a practiced ease that sent shivers down his spine. "You're thinking too much," she said, her voice low and soothing. "Relax. Be my good boy, Hyun."

His heart twisted at her words. She always knew how to pull him back in, how to weave herself into his thoughts until there was no escape. He wanted to be hers, completely, but the uncertainty gnawed at him.

"I just want to know how you feel," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Sully leaned closer, her lips brushing his ear. "Shh," she breathed. "Some secrets are better kept."

Hyun's resolve crumbled, as it always did. He let her pull him into her world of whispered promises and unspoken truths, where he was her doll to play with and she was the only one who held the strings. He loved her, deeply and desperately, and he'd accepted that she would never let him all the way in.

And Sully? Sully loved him too. But the words stayed locked behind her lips, buried beneath layers of fear and pride. So instead, she silenced his questions with kisses, pulling him closer into her web. For now, it was enough. It had to be.

Her lips found his in a kiss that was both intoxicating and cruel. It was filled with all the passion she couldn't say, all the feelings she refused to name. Then, as quickly as she had pulled him close, she pulled away. Hyun reached for her, but she stood, her movements as graceful as ever.

"Goodbye, darling," she whispered, her voice soft and haunting. Before he could respond, she was gone, leaving behind the faint trace of her perfume and the ghost of her touch.

Hyun sat there, stranded, his heart heavy and his mind racing. Was she even real? An angel of darkness, perhaps, sent to consume him whole. He was trapped in her grasp, caught between wanting her love and drowning in her control. Sully's hold on him was unrelenting, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't escape. He wasn't sure he even wanted to.
