A rounded hand reaches up to the wooden door, knocking three times. You glance down to the child you practically dragged with you, wondering for the hundredth time who his parents were, and why he had found you about to take his life. You were startled out of your thoughts when the door creaked open, revealing a black bug in blue armour and a cloth hood. You blinked behind your mask, and the bug's expression soured at seeing you.

"Brumm." He seethed,

"Tiso." You replied softly.

Tiso glared at you a moment more before glancing to the child beside you, expression softening before turning worried. "Bri- Shit, where were you? Come here, come here." The kid- Briso, perked up a bit and walked into Tiso's open arms, a soft sigh leaving him when the older bug did a quick checkup on his physical state, quickly deeming him well enough with a nod before turning his attention back to you, and you suppressed a flinch at the ferocity of his gaze.

"What are you doing back here? I thought you were "done with family life."" He quotes what you had said years ago, when you had left, words dripping with venom. You frowned under your mask, humming softly
