Villain Deku Oneshot

(Villain Deku one shot; trigger warnings: attempts of suicide/bullying and extreme angst :D)

(This is what happened when I'm depressed for absolutely no reason at all)

(The one shot is narrated from two povs, you'll be able to tell which one is which)

Another day, another fail...

I sighed, walking to school. It was the last day for this year, and honestly?

I was terrified.

My name is Izuku Midoriya, I'm a quirkless 15 year old boy who goes to a shit school in the neighborhood, and gets bullied and put down on a daily basis.

The reason?

Simple, I'm quirkless. There's nothing special or cool about me.

I sat down in my desk, keeping my head down to avoid being seen.

Nobody directly said anything to me, but I'm not deaf.

I could still hear them.

"What does he think he's doing here? I thought Bakugo made it clear to stay away?"

"Well we can't just kick him out of class. We might as well hope he gets what he deserves next year."

"I heard he wants to go to UA next year. What a dumbass..."

"Poor kid, I can't imagine being without a quirk... how does he get anything done?!"

And so many more...

Class started, and I snapped my head up to pay attention.

"HAH! You're even worse then the rest of these losers!" Katsuki Bakugo, my "childhood best friend" Kacchan, launched and explosion at me, which I backed away from me quickly. Everyone laughed and started 5o leave the classroom, as school was over.

"K-Kacchan, I swear I'm not trying to compete you I'm sorry!" I squeaked, terrified for my life.

"Stupid Deku, tch..." He started walking away, but paused by the door.

"Y'know, their might be a way to get you a quirk," I looked up at him. His two buddies were gone.

"Just take a swan dive off the roof, and pray that you'll be born with a quirk in your next life."

Tears welled up in my eyes, as that one sentence echoed in my head.

I stood up shaking, Katsuki watched me to see my reaction as I grabbed my bag.

"Fine..." I muttered. He smirked.

"I can't hear you nerd," he replied, angling his head at me.

I snapped.

"I said FINE!" I snapped, glaring at him as the tears, all the tears I had been holding back for years came flooding out. I shoved my notebook into my bag, and stormed out of the classroom, heading up to the roof.

It was windy today, as I stood at the railing. It was sunny out. The day was beautiful.

I dropped my bag, and sat down to take off my shoes. The same red ones I always wore, my favorite pair. I put them neatly next to my bag and stood up.

"Deku what the fuck kind of sick joke is this?!" I turned, and saw Katsuki.

"What joke Kacchan?" I smiled at him, as more tears streamed down my face, "I'm just doing what you told me too." I turned back to the railing, climbing over it.

And before he could saw anything else, I leaned forward, falling.

"Was there any behaviour that may of given hint to this mindset?" The officer asked.

I'm Katsuki Bakugo, and I'm being questioned about the suicide of Izuku Midoriya.

I nodded, without saying anything.

"You were Izuku's childhood friend, correct?" He asked.

"Was."

"Context?" He looked up at me.

"De- Izuku, was a quirkless kid that everyone bullied... even me..." I said quietly.

"Everyone else says it was just you," he raised his eyebrow.

"It wasn't just me. Everyone made fun of him. I just did it the most..."

"Did you or anyone say anything related to killing himself to trigger this?" He asked.

I stood up, grabbing my bag.

"I'm done here," I growled, walking towards the door.

"No you are not," the officer grabbed me, "you didn't answer my question. Did you or anyone else say anything related to killing himself?"

"YES!" I snapped, "I TOLD HIM TO TAKE A FUCKING SWAN DIVE OFF THE ROOF, I DIDN'T THINK HE WOULD TAKE ME SERIOUSLY!"

He seemed startled by my outburst, but nodded, dragging me out. He nodded at the other officers.

"We figured out the cause, we're done here."

Some of the other kids ran to me.

"Kacchan, what-"

"DON'T FUCKING CALL ME THAT!" I snapped.

The officer jerked me away from them, and I followed quietly.

Mom slapped me when she found out, and then hugged me.

Dad hugged her afterward.

Then they both hugged Inko, who refused to speak with me.

Charges were pressed on my family for assisted suicide, but I wasn't jailed because of my age.

After a few weeks, the information was made public.

"The police have made public the cause of the recent death of Izuku Midoriya, a 15 year old middle schooler who on the last day of school, committed suicide. After questioning Midoriya's classmates, police discovered the only witness to the suicide, Katsuki Bakugo, had earlier told Midoriya to kill himself, not believing he would be taken seriously. The boy claims to severely regret his actions, however a policeman claims he lashed out as his fellow classmates when questioned about it-"

The TV shut off.

Mom crossed her arms, and looked down at me.

"I was watching that." I grumbled.

"No, you were torturing yourself with it," she retorted, "why do you insist on blaming yourself for Izuku's death?"

"Because it's my fault!" I snapped, "How hard is that to understand?!"

"Okay, so maybe it was you who told him!" She snapped, "Maybe, you were part of the reason! You think he would appreciate you beating yourself up over it?!"

"Yeah, actually, I do!" I retorted. Something wet landed in my lap. Tears.

Mom shook me by my shoulders.

"REALLY?! WELL I DON'T!" She yelled, startling me, "BECAUSE BELIEVE IT OR NOT KATSUKI, I CARE ABOUT YOU! MASARU CARES ABOUT YOU! AND WE'RE BOTH TIRED OF YOU BEATING YOURSELF UP OVER THIS!"

I shoved her away, and went up to my room.

I opened my eyes to a fuzzy light.

"He's waking up," someone said. I didn't recognize the voice.

I blinked a couple times, and sat up.

"Where... am I?" I asked, "I... I'm not dead?"

A man with icy blue hair looked at me. He wore a hand on his face. A dark purple misty guy sat next to him.

"No," the icy blue haired one shook his head, "Kurogiri saved you from that fall."

"Why would you do that?... who even are you?" I asked.

"Tomura Shigaraki," the icy blue haired man smiled, "Kurogiri and I make up the League Of Villains. As for why we saved you..." He looked at his friend.

"We're looking for new members," Kurogiri said, "and we saw potential in you."

"You... saw potential, in me?" I laughed, it was a dry laugh, "don't joke around, I'm just a quirkless nobody."

"Everyone is a somebody," Shigaraki replied, "we can train you in athletics and fighting. Then you won't be useless, even then, we heard about all those notes you've taken on heroes. Those can be useful, and you can take more."

"But... your villains..." I muttered, "I... wanted to be a hero..."

"You really think you can be a hero?" Shigaraki asked, "Sorry, you really think they would let you be a hero?"

He was right.

And even then... the idea, of at least being useful, was so appealing.

I could get back at everyone who ever put me down.

I slowly nodded.

"Alright, but on one condition."

"Which is?" Kurogiri looked at me as Shigaraki smiled.

"We stay away from my mother," I said, looking at them.

"Understandable. Alright, in exchange for you joining us, we will avoid hurting your mother." Shigaraki nodded, "What's your name kid?"

"Izuku Midoriya, but my friends... sorry, enemies, call me Deku." I smiled, sliding out of bed.

"When do you want to start training?" Shigaraki asked.

"Shouldn't we get the notebooks first? Before they get donated or something?" I asked. They both nodded.

Kurogiri opened a portal to my room, and I stepped inside, going straight to my desk drawers. Shigaraki followed, as I pulled all my notebooks out of my room. Thirteen of them.

The doorknob moved, and the door opened revealing my mom.

She froze, staring at us.

"I'll leave you alone..." Shigaraki said, taking my notebooks back through the portal.

"I-Izuku?" Mom asked, her voice breaking. Tears welled in my eyes.

She hugged me.

"I though you were... everyone thinks you're dead! Oh, my baby boy... We have to-"

"No, mom..." I pulled away from her, "it's better for everyone to think I'm dead... so don't tell anyone you saw me, alright?" I kneeled down so I was the same height as her.

"B-but-"

"Mama, please..."

"But where are you going?! Who are your friends?!" She gestured to Kurogiri and Shigaraki.

"They're my new friends... and I'm going to be staying with them for a while... I'm sorry mom..."

She nodded and then glared at them.

"You better take care of my son, got it?" She glared at them. Shigaraki just nodded.

I hugged mom goodbye, and followed them.

The portal closed.

"I see why you care about her, she's a good person." Kurogiri said. I nodded, and looked at them.

"So when do we start training?"

○•▪●

"Hey, I just realized you haven't introduced yourself. What's your name?" I looked up from my seat on the bus. It was the frog bitch who had spoken, Asui or something. She was talking to me.

"What's it to you?" I growled.

"Come on man, don't be like that!" A red haired kid exclaimed, smiling at me. I think his name was Kirishima.

"Fuck off." I retorted.

"You look familiar. Have I seen you before?" A blonde kid asked.

I didn't answer. The rest of my classmates murmured agreements.

"He looks like the boy who was on TV last school year," one said, he had red and white hair.

"It can't be him though, there's no way that guy could've gotten into UA."

"We're here." Aizawa~sensei said. Everyone piled off the bus. I didn't pay attention to Thirteen's speech.

I didn't pay attention to anything until the villains showed up.

"Isn't this part of training?" Kirishima asked.

"Stay back! Those are real villains!" Aizawa ordered.

Everything went so quickly.

Aizawa launched into battle, one of them, a misty guy, teleported everyone away. He paused at me.

"Katsuki Bakugo, how nice to meet you. One of our members has been dying, to see you again."

"How do you-" I was cut off by a cheerful voice.

A familiar cheerful voice.

"Kacchan! It's great to see you again!"

Deku, fucking Deku, walked out of the portal next to me.

"Deku?!" I exclaimed, too many emotions took over at once. His happy expression darkened.

"I thought you would know better then to call me that after everything," he frowned.

"Blondey, who the hell is that?!" Someone yelled at me. I ignored them. Deku smiled suddenly.

"Come on! I wanna play!" He grabbed me by the arm, pulling me into the portal. It closed right afterwards.

I was stuck with him.

And he wasn't the same.

"Don't hesitate to call me if something happens Izu," Tomura called down to me.

"I think I'll be fine Tomura," I replied, smiling at Katsuki, "after all, nobody knows more about the great Katsuki Bakugo then I do."

I flipped my knife, and threw it at Katsuki. He blew it up.

I frowned.

"That was my favorite knife."

"You should know it'll take more then that to kill me."

"So you actually used your brain for once."

"You're crazy."

"You just figured that out?" I doubled over laughing, "That's a good one! Now enough talking," I pulled out a new knife, a sharper one, and charged at him.

He didn't even fight back. All he did was dodge, which infuriated me.

"Deku, what the fuck has gotten into you?!" He exclaimed, "I don't wanna hurt you!"

"I don't wanna hurt you," I mimicked, rolling my eyes, "You didn't seem to have a problem with that in middle school!"

I could tell his mind was whirling.

Someone else, I recognized him as Katsuki's classmate, Shoto Todoroki, shot a glacier of ice at me. Katsuki blew it up before it hit.

"FUCK OFF ICYHOT THIS IS MY FIGHT NOT YOURS!"

"Says the one who won't fight back!" I retorted before Todoroki could respond, "I'm sure Tomura wouldn't mind me killing both of you!" I smiled.

Katsuki frowned. He stared at me, and I could tell what he was thinking.

"I'm still quirkless, and you can use that to your advantage." I said aloud. He blinked.

"What?"

"That's what your thinking isn't it?" I tilted my head slightly, "But you're wrong."

"We'll see about THAT!" He retorted, charging at me. I easily sidestepped, and slashed at him, creating a deep cut down his arm.

"The fuck?! How-"

"I've known you for years Katsuki, you always attack first the same way, with a right hook." I frowned, "See at least Todoroki over here isn't as predictable. You need to get more creative."

"How do you know my name?" Todoroki demanded. I turned to him.

"Shoto Todoroki, son of Endeavor. Quirk is half cold half hot." He stared in shock, "What? You don't really think we would've come without researching everyone first, do you?"

"Your just as predictable," Katsuki smirked, "still the same smartass."

"Predictable?" I turned to him, smiling and walking over, "really? Did you find it predictable when I jumped off the roof?"

He froze, as I had just walked behind him.

An explosion sent me flying, and I crashed into Tomura, knocking him down as I tumbled over him. I landed in a roll, coming up with my hand on the ground.

"There's the Katsuki I know!" I yelled, laughing a little. Tomura glared at me. I shrugged sheepishly.

"Sorry Tomura, didn't mean to hit you."

"Try to avoid knocking me over. I know your old friend has an explosions quirk, but I was in the middle of speaking with his teacher."

"Looked more like you ordering around Nomu," I shrugged, "but alright."

Kurogiri appeared between us.

"Not while we're on a mission you two." He sighed.

Kacchan's eyes locked on Kurogiri, and he charged at him, sending an explosion at him and pinning him down. I didn't hear what he said, but I heard another classmate of his, Kirishima, reply.

I hadn't even noticed All Might appear, but I smiled when I saw him.

"Hey it's the number one hero!" I cheered.

"You didn't notice him before?" Tomura asked.

"Too busy talking with Katsuki, speaking of..." I aimed my knife, and threw it at him. He just barely dodged it.

"What the fuck Deku?!" He yelled.

"Geez, your treating me like we're still in middle school," I rolled my eyes, "You were threatening my friend, so I saved him. I'd say you would do the same, but you honestly wouldn't."

He glared at me.

Nomu charged at All Might, and to our surprise, All Might just barely beat him.

It was just me, Tomura, and Kurogiri.

Tomura started to get nervous, and scratched at his neck frantically.

"Tomura, calm down," I said, "you're going to hurt yourself."

"We still have time before reinforcements arrive," Kurogiri said.

"Reinforcements?!" I exclaimed, "They're getting reinforcements?!"

"Kurogiri screwed up and let the engine kid get away. He'll be back any minute now with reinforcements." Tomura grumbled.

I looked at Katsuki. We made eye contact.

I smirked.

"Alright, let's go. Before the reinforcements show up."

Kurogiri opened a portal.

I threw one last knife at Katsuki. It stabbed him in the arm, and he cried out.

Then I followed Tomura through the portal.
