He woke up to screaming.

A high pitched blood-curdling scream that caused him to shoot up in bed, and look around wildly for his wife.

He sighed in relief when he saw her staring excitedly out the window.

"Babe, what the-"

"IT'S CHRISTMAS!" She cut her boyfriend off, "AARON IT'S CRHISTMAS! TODAY IS CHRISTMAS I'M SO EXCITED!" She pulled her clothes on, bolting downstairs while a drowsy Aaron sighed, getting dressed and following her.

"Aph, I-"

"PSHSHSHSHSHSHSHH!" Aphmau shushed him, "I'm going to wake up Zane with a snowball! Shush!"

Aaron sighed, getting his winter gear on as he followed the shorter woman outside, where she glanced both ways, and bolted across the street to her friend's house. Zane was asleep as she made a snowball, laughing evilly, and chucked it at his window.

A few moments later, a groggy man with black hair opened the window, "What-"

He was cut off by Aphmau launching a snowball at him. It hit him right in the face as he blinked.

"APHMAU!" He yelled, as the small woman burst into giggles. Aaron chuckled, making a snowball of his own. He threw it at his wife, who yelped, tumbling face first into the snow. Aaron laughed as she sat up and growled at him.

"Oh, it's on!" She yelled, starting to make a pile of snowballs. Another hit her from behind, and then Aaron in the face as Zane laughed, standing in his doorway.

"SNOWBALL FIGHT!" Aphmau yelled as loud as she could.

"Ball?!" Daniel peeked outside of his house, Dottie and Rilen right behind him.

"FUCK YEAH!" Was heard from Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan's house, as the blue haired woman appeared outside with the pink haired meifwa.

Soon, everyone was outside throwing snowballs everywhere. It didn't take long for them to get cold though, since everyone quickly became covered in snow.

"GUYS! COME ONN!" Aphmau yelled to her friends, opening her door. Aaron went inside, and smiled at her happy expression.

"Moom! Be quiet, you're going to wake up Ameri," a masculine voice came from the stairs, as a werewolf teen jumped the last few steps.

"Too late..." a groggy voice replied, with a similar masculine tone. The two teen werewolf, Ameri and Arnoux Lycan, yawned in sync, and Arnoux smiled at his parents.

It amazed Aaron how all of their friends fit into their basement, where the Christmas decorations had been set up.

"When are Kaiya and Taiya going to be here?" Ameri asked nobody in particular.

"They should be here any second now Mijo," Aphmau smiled at her son. The doorbell rang soon after.

"MY GRANDDAUGHTERS!" Sylvanna was the first to bolt upstairs and open the door, with the rest of the family right behind.

When they opened the door, Taiya was laughing, and Kaiya was blushing slightly.

"Wow, that was loud Granny!" The shorter werewolf woman laughed, "We all heard you from out here!"

"Hehe..." the taller laughed nervously, smiling.

"Uh..." a man behind the two seemed confused. Aaron narrowed his eyes at Jackson, Kaiya's boyfriend, who stiffened. Aphmau elbowed her husband lightly.

"Taiya! Kaiya!" Ameri and Arnoux wiggled their way in front of the others to hug their older siblings.

"Hey you two!" Taiya grinned, hugging them both.

"Well don't just stand there in the cold you three," Aphmau exclaimed, "come on in!" She smiled at them, pushing the others out of the way so the trip could enter. The short woman told them to come downstairs, and leave their presents under the tree, and they obeyed.

"Look whose under the mistletoe!" Travis yelled as they came down, pointing to the single mistletoe the Lycans had hung on the roof. Zane and Garroth were underneath, and immediately yelling ensued.

"NO!" Zane shouted, turning away and crossing his arms.

"COME ONN ZANE! GIVE YOUR BIG BROTHER A KISS!" Garroth teased, puckering his lips. Vylad laughed at them both, sitting at the table.

"APHMAU, HELP ME!" Zane exclaimed, turning to her.

"I dunnooo~," Aphmau smirked, "I think Garroth is right."

"WHAT?!"

"Haha! See! Aphmau agrees with me!"

"Kawaii~Chan?!"

Nana began talking Katelyn, giggling slightly. Katelyn snickered as they began to chat about baking.

Zane groaned in defeat.

"Fine... only a small one..." he muttered. Garroth cheered, pulling his brother into a bear hug and kissing his cheek. Zane made a gagging noise, quickly pushing himself away. Everyone cheered and laughed.

"Thanks for bringing the sweets Kawaii~chan!" Aphmau called over.

"No problem Aphmau~senpai!" Nana replied, smiling, "I'm glad I could help!"

"When do we start the gift exchange?" Lucinda asked, taking a sip of her wine.

See, Aphmau had asked a few friends to help with the refreshments for their party. Aaron had made the stuffing, and cooked a pair of turkeys for them. Aphmau herself had set up a vegetable dish. Kawaii~chan had been tasked with bringing sweets, which included many cupcakes and cookies. Finally, she had asked Lucinda and Melissa to bring drinks, with Melissa I'm charge of the soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages, and Lucinda taking charge of the alcohol. 

"Everyone is here, so whenever everyone is ready I guess!" Aphmau smiled.

"Let's get this started!" Her friends cheered.

Aaron smiled, and then grabbed the bowl full of numbers he had made earlier, holding it up.

"I'll come around with this, the number you get is when you'll go," he said, starting to walk around. Once everyone had a number and was gathered at their table, he quickly explained the rules.

"When I call your number, you can go grab a present. When you come back, you have to unwrap the present. The next person can either steal that present, or get a new one and unwrap it. Presents can only be stolen twice, to avoid chaos."

Everyone nodded, and he started to call names.

Blaze went first, picking up a small round present that was tagged from Dottie. It was an extra strength baseball.

Travis went second, taking the small box that was tagged from Kaiya. It was a boardgames and a chocolate bar.

Arnoux was third, and he stole the ball from Blaze, who whimpered in sadness. He grabbed the present from Taiya, which was a soccer ball, and he quickly brightened up.

Aphmau was 4th, taking the present from Aaron, which was some fuzzy peaches and a gift card for Starbucks.

Katelyn stole the gift card and fuzzy peaches, making Aphmau very sad as she grabbed Sylvanna's present, which ironically was flip flops. Everyone laughed at that.

Zane took the present from Nana, which was a fresh batch of cupcakes. He immediately hissed at everyone else, closing the present and hugging it close to him. Nana laughed, as everyone got the message that stealing the cupcakes would result in an angry Zuzu.

Aaron went, taking the present from Aphmau. The box held a pair of mittens, a notebook, and a photo of everyone there together.

Sylvanna stole the mittens, notebook, and photo from Aaron.

The man sighed, and grabbed the present from Ameri. He opened it, revealing a baseball and a McDonald's gift card.

Ameri went, taking the present from Katelyn, some candy and a card game.

Nana took Zane's gift, a My Little Horsey doll and hot topic gift card.

Taiya opened the Gift from Daniel, which contained a horror movie and a popcorn bag.

"I didn't like it," the man explained, "it scared me..."

"That's the point silly! It's a horror movie!" Dottie laughed as she grabbed the present from Blaze, which was a baseball and some werewolf-safe chocolate. She squealed, hugging it close.

Taiya snorted, taking Rilen's present, an industrial strength baseball and a squeaky toy. She cheered, picking up the squeaky toy and squeezing it a few times.

"Hell yeah! This is awesome!" She cheered, turning into a wolf and biting it. The woman curled up on her chair, constantly chewing the squeaky toy, and growling at her sister when she tried to take it.

"Look at what you've done Rilen," Kaiya laughed. She went next, and grabbed Melissa's present, which was an iTunes gift card and a baseball.

Lucinda went, grabbing and opening Garroth's gift, which was a book titled Doors: Sturdiness Through The Ages.

Everyone laughed at that.

Melissa took Arnoux's gift, which was a book on werewolf history.

Garroth took Vylad's gift, which was a new mug that had Best Human Being Award written on it.

Jackson took Lucinda's gift, a book on the history and types of potions.

Finally, Vylad took Jackson's gift, which was some candy and the first book in the Percy Jackson series.

With the gift exchange over, everyone continued to hang out for the rest of the day.

Maybe an hour later, everyone began to leave, until it was just the Lycans and Jackson.

"Well, I gotta go deliver Mom and Dad their gifts," Melissa said, pulling her winter gear on, "I'll see you all tomorrow."

"Bye Melissa!" Aphmau waved.

"See you tomorrow," Aaron smiled.

"Bye Aunty!" The four siblings chorused, as Jackson waved.

Then she was gone, having left the house and entered the snow outside.

"Well, that was fun," Kaiya smiled.

"Yeah, even if I didn't know most of them very well..." Jackson laughed nervously.

"Don't worry, it's not hard to get along with our family," Taiya grinned, sipping her pop, "Except for Dad. He still doesn't like you for some reason."

"Hmph," Aaron looked away, crossing his arms. Aphmau laughed.

"Aaron, relax," she smiled at him, "you're acting like my mother."

Kaiya and Jackson shared a quick kiss.

"Blegh!" Arnoux made a face.

"Now you know how I feel," Taiya snickered. Ameri laughed.

"The holiday magic is real," Aphmau said mysteriously, causing the whole table to laugh.

Arnoux yawned, so did Ameri, and then Taiya and Kaiya yawned in sync. Aphmau yawned afterward, then Jackson, and Aaron.

"And that's why you cover your mouth when you yawn," Aphmau laughed.

"I think that means it's time for bed," Aaron smiled a little. The twin boys immediately groaned.

"But it's Christmas! I don't wanna go to bed!" Ameri whined.

"Come on Dad! Holiday Magic!" Arnoux complained.

"Feel the Holiday Magic!" Aphmau exclaimed, "I'm sure we can let them stay up a little longer, right?"

Aaron hesitated, before nodding, "Yeah, alright."

"Well, I'm tired, so do you mind if I get settled for bed?" Kaiya asked.

"Not at all Sweetie," Aphmau smiled, "You and Taiya can stay in your old room. I set up the guest room for Jack."

"Thanks Mom," Kaiya smiled, standing up and walking towards the stairs.

"It's awfully early for her to go to bed..." Aaron muttered.

"College has been hard on her," Taiya sighed, "she's considered an outcast by the other werewolves, the teachers expect a lot from her, and... well, Jack can confirm that I haven't exactly been an angel to her classmates..." she looked down. Aphmau looked at Jackson for context. He sighed.

"I've... had the, uh... pleasure of speaking with Kaiya's classmates... they were nice until I told them I was her boyfriend... and it was the same with Taiya until they found out they were sisters," he sighed, "They don't like her much..."

"I blame her grades and looks," Taiya snorted, "She's cute and at the top of her class, people are bound to be jealous."

"Hah! No kidding," Arnoux snorted.

"Lots of homework too, she's been staying up late to finish it," Jackson added.

"I've told her to take it easy, but she won't listen," Taiya sighed, "I'm surprised she hasn't spent all of Christmas break working to be honest..."

They continued to talk, moving the conversation from Kaiya, to Christmas, and how life had been recently.

Before long though, Ameri and Arnoux had fallen asleep, and Aphmau was barely keeping her eyes open. Aaron laughed, as he and Taiya brought the three upstairs, with Jackson following.

"Merry Christmas Dad," Taiya smiled, "You too Jack," she said, before heading into her room.

"Merry Christmas Taiya, Merry Christmas Mr. Lycan," Jackson smiled, walking into the guest room.

"Merry Christmas Taiya... Merry Christmas Jack," Aaron said, before entering his room.

He laid Aphmau down in their bed, and changed into his pajamas, climbing in next to her.

"Mmm... Merry Christmas Aaron..." Aphmau mumbled sleepily, and her husband smiled.

"Heh... Merry Christmas Aph," he smiled, as she began snoring softly.

The Holiday Magic of Christmas really was an amazing thing to the Lycan family and their friends.
