"Bruce? You awake?" Clark called, he had a towel wrapped around his waist while shirtless.

Nobody answered him, so he went to the dining room. "Bruce?"

Still no answer.

He couldn't have gone off patrolling the city, Batman promised that he'd stay in the manor tonight.

So where was he?

"Alfred? You home?" He called.

Odd... He should be here...

The now concerned superhero focused his X-ray vision in search of at least someone.

He stared at the cold floor, The Bat Cave seems empty.

Then he checked the bedrooms, everything seems neat and isolated.

So did the guest rooms and the kitchen.

What about the living room and the game room?

Clark turned his gaze towards the game room, the walls were cracked and the pool tables were broken into halves.

This stunned the superhero, but it got worse when he found out what was in the living room:

Bruce and Alfred were tied to two separate chairs, back to back. In front of them was a familiar face...

Bane...

Immediately, Clark zoomed into his room using super speed and changed into his suit.

He could hear the villain punch Bruce when he quietly got out of the room.

The Billionaire's nose had blood running out of it, his face stayed fearless and serious.

"Now tell me; WHERE. IS. THE MONE-!?"

Before the villain could finish, he got punched in the back, which sent him flying through the now broken window and outside in the backyard.

Now hurt, Bane groaned while struggling to stand, but soon gave up when a man in a red and blue suit hovered over the grass in front of him.

"S-Superman..." The villain growled before getting another hit directly in the middle of his face.

--time skip--

The police had taken Bane into custody, Bruce had a check up before given the right treatment to his broken nose.

Everything was fine now...

Clark checked his watch, "11:30PM"

Bruce and Clark could finally have their night.
