Nova leaned down over the edge of the building, staring down at the crowd of New York who suddenly noticed him. They all pointed at him with gasps.

"Hey! It's one of The Champions!"

"It's Nova!"

"Nova!"

Nova sighed with a smile and tossed both his feet over the wall of the edge and did what everyone thought was a T-pose.

This building was where Nova finally felt something between him and The Champions. Where Nova called for a boycott when the team was all in sorrow. Where he felt like he finally found a second family that respected him. Where he was home.

"That. Was. AWESOME!" Marvel exclaimed while launching herself at Nova who grunted in shock when the two fell to the floor.

SpiderMan, Viv and Cyclops all worked together to help the two up, to which SpiderMan then theorized: "Why didn't we think to do that? Call for a boycott?"

"Because we were too busy having a pity party." Cyclops answered in his own realization while Ms Marvel just exclaimed "I love you!" with her cheeks clenched and eyes squeezed.

"We just assumed we'd been beaten." Hulk pointed out. "You're the only one of us who didn't give up, dude. That was savage. We owe you one." He placed his hands on his hips, the other three managed to get Nova back up on his feet even if Ms Marvel still wouldn't let go of her arms that were now wrapped all over him.

"I love you!" She cajoled again.

Nova chuckled. Remembering that time he made that video, he felt like he was doing the right thing.

Now... He's doing the exact opposite.

He leaned over the edge more, feeling his feet slip, and he was falling, the fans all watched, waiting for their hero to fly.

Within every second was another meter closer to the edge.

And another metre closer.

And another metre closer.

And another.

And everyone stared with smiles and grins.

Until Nova calmly placed his hands on his helmet and slipped it off.

Multiple gasps were heard.

"SPLAT"

"AIIIIEEEEE!"

"OH MY GOD! CALL THE AMBULANCE!"

"SOMEONE DO SOMETHING!"
