the father worriedly gazes at their little eleven-year-old daughter. her fever hasn't gone down and it is worrying him and his husband. he takes the damp towel from her forehead and soaks it in the ice-filled bowl next to the bed before placing it again on her forehead.

"honey, is the fever going down?" he turns, seeing his husband leaning against the doorframe of their daughter's bedroom with a worried look. he shakes his head, sighing as his eyes observe their daughter's burning body. she is breathing hard through her mouth, red rashes appearing on her cheeks and neck. it worries the couple.

his husband sits on the beside their daughter, one hand holding her hand and the other holding his. "she'll get healthy soon. if needed, we'll work overtime to get the medicines required." he nods, his beloved's voice soothing his worries a little.
