The Geminis as lovers | Ikarishipping

I work as an assistant to the boss of the Gemini company. The boss. That word itself gives all the meaning. You could say, he was a strict, emo, and cold person.

To me, the least I could say was that he didn't even exist at all if he didn't make all those annoying voices like 'tsk' and 'pfft'.

"Dawn!"

"Yes?" I spoke tuning my head back to look at who called me.

"He needs your help, again," Kaira spoke with an unmentionable look on her face. "What? Fine." I sighed and picked up my books and headed out of the office room to his office room.

I stood in front of the door, taking deep breaths. Knowing that what lies beyond the door was surely gonna annoy me- or even irritate me to death, I still agreed upon it. I had to. No choice.

"Are you gonna enter the room and help me or just stand there like an annoying statue, troublesome?"

His voice ranged from the other side, making me shiver. I composed myself after that and twisted the door open. He was standing with his hands flat on the table desk. His purple shade hair, falling and covering half of his head as he looked down upon the files beneath.

"C'mere and see what all file I've got." He ordered and I came near to the desk where there was a bundle of files. Picking up one, I opened it to see a lot of registrations. "Uh.. These are a lot... Boss." I facepalmed at the number of names in just one file.

"It's just one. The rest are here, " He spoke as his hands went up through his purple locks. "And, I think I told you to not call me Boss?" I gulped and looked away replying, "yes."

"So.. What are you supposed to call me then?" He asked as a sly smirk made its way to his lips. I turned to face him as my lips struggled to form words.

"P-Pa.. P-Paul..." I shuttered as he began to laugh and the room soon vibrated in his laugh.

"Anyway, what are we gonna do about this?" He asked as he picked up a pile of files in his hands. I thought for a while and replied.

"I think, we need to choose Geminis for each of em. And then we will send our arrangements to the Spirit King. And if he approves we will proceed with our work further. What say?"

"That was a brief one, but I will agree to it. Let's start with it." He replied with a small smile. A rare one.

"Okay then." I cheerfully spoke and took some of the files from the desk and went to another desk to start working when-

"But wait!" He stopped me in my tracks and ran towards. Suddenly his hands were wrapped around me from behind as he squeezed me and buried his head on my shoulder.

"You didn't seem bubbly today, is something the matter, honey?" It was the first time in a million years when he called me 'honey'. A million years after we were married.

"Huh? No. Nothing's wrong." I replied as my face started to change its colour.

"You know that I love you, right?"

"O-Of course, I do too. I love you, Paul."

The plot might seem confusing but it was the best which I had come up when I wrote this one-shot.

Not to mention, I was not in my right mind when I wrote this.
