Beach Prank | May x Drew

"Muahahaha!" May laughed wickedly upon thinking of a perfect prank to call upon Drew. "This prank will surely worry him to death! Muahaha! I can't wait to see his reaction!" the girl seemed so engulfed in her planning for the prank that she completely forgot about their plan of going to the beach.

Beep Beep

May's phone rang indicating a message from someone. She looked over her back and saw the name pop up,

'Stupid Egoatic Grasshead'

She quickly took her phone and saw what he sent,

Are you ready with the stuff?

That was when it hit her like a brick. "Crap! How can I forgot that we were supposed to go to the beach! Oh, now I have to hurry or I'll be late!" She hurriedly threw her phone back on the bed and rushed to take the bag and the required necessities. After stuffing every single thing in the bag, she took out the sunscreen and hurriedly applied it on to her skin.

Beep Beep

'Stupid Egoatic Grasshead'

"Ugh! Stupid jerk!" She cursed as she again saw his cocky message.

'You forgot, didn't cha? 😂'

No, I didn't! I was getting ready! 😠'

After replying to him she took the bag and rushed downstairs. Her mother came out of the kitchen with the lunch bag ready in her hand. She handed it to May and hugged her.

"Bye! Don't do weird stuff at the beach, honey!" Her mother cooed sweetly as May frowned and went to the door. "Yeah, yeah, love you, Mom." May blew a kiss to her mother and ran out the door.

Within a few sprints, she reached the beach. There was absolutely no one because everybody had now left for work, even though it's summer.

She ran down the stairs and towards the shore, and after looking around, she spotted a certain mop-top holding to surfboards. She grinned at the sight and sprinted over to him.

"Thanks for bringing them. I would really look forward to try doing it." She smiled sweetly holding back the strong urge to just snatch the board from him and rush to the sea and show him just how gracefully she can surf, unlike his thoughts. "Yeah sure. Now, wanna first arrange the things?" Drew asked her and she nodded.

They both then arranged the mats on the sand and the umbrella. Keeping their belongings and the bags under the umbrella, both stripped into their swimsuits and took their surfboards.

"Wanna see who does the best?" May asked him with a familiar smirk on her lips. Drew was taken back. But still agreed with the same energetic spirit like hers. The two ran to the sea with their boards and went surfing.

It was pretty cool and the breeze made it even cooler. The competitive look on their faces and th4 fun they were having, didn't last long.

Suddenly a small wave came and knocked May off her board and she fell deep inside the sea.

That was when her prank had started.

She knew how much longer she could hold her breath so she did. Closing her eyes she fell deep inside the sea, waiting for Drew to come and take her. Drew upon seeing her fall, stopped his surfing and dumped his head in the sea. He looked around for her but she was nowhere to be found. He panicked and jumped in.

He swam deeper and deeper until he finally saw her. Rushing towards her, he held her and swam back to the water surface. He brought her to the shore and started shaking her.

"May, wake up!" He said while continuously rubbing and shaking her. But she didn't move. He began to panic, so he started to think of some other way.

That was when it hit him. Three chest compressions and one mouth to mouth. He knew he shouldn't be doing this to her, but it was just a way to save her. So without giving it a second thought, Drew gave May three chest compressions. Water blurted out from her mouth but she didn't show any movements yet. He was now feeling scared.

Scared of losing her, his rival, his first crush, his first love.

But he still gave in a final try and leaned in to give her air through the mouth to mouth method. Pinching her nose his lips inched closer to hers.

When suddenly water was splashed on his face. "What the-" He wiped the water with his sleeve and looked in front of him.

"Ahahahahaha~" May was laughing while clutching her stomach. "Drew! Who knew you would panic this much!? Ahaha~" She spoke and wiped the tear which came due to excessive laughing.

Drew was so confused that he just sat there dumbfounded. Then it got him. She was pranking him. And he decided to give May the taste of her own medicine. Smirking he thought of a perfect plan to execute.

He then stood and helped May up. Looking straight at her, he made an angry face. May stopped laughing as she saw his look. Her expression changed from shiny to worried.

"W-What happened, Drew? Did I scared you so much?" She cooed again as her cute expression came back and she again started laughing.

Drew couldn't hold it back now. He thought of demolishing his prank and joined May in laughing. He knew he couldn't see May in a gloomy or sad mood.

So he joined her. And they both laughed. When accidentally May tripped (while standing 😑😐) and fell on top of Drew and they both fell on the ground, laughing.

When they both realized what position they were in, their laughter had stopped till then. May looked down at him and he looked at her. Drew didn't know what came to him and his hands slowly held May's face. Her breath was caught up in her throat. May slowly leaned in.

And lips met lips.
