"i love you," the smaller boy with round copper brown eyes, pale skin, wild hair, and honeysuckle cheeks sighed. the words seemed to have forced their way from his heart up to his throat, spewing from his mouth way before he could even think about stopping them.

as the small room filled to the brim with tension, suffocating the two boys, ryan looked down. he tried to hide his tear-stained cheeks, and tried to keep his sobs silent and resting, yet moving relentlessly in his gut, begging to escape.

"ryan- hey," the other boy in the room spoke up, yet ryan didn't look up, afraid to meet the love of his life's eyes. the boy with with dark hair sighed deeply. "ryan," he voiced firmly but gently. the boy still didn't look up. "okay," brendon sighed. "will you talk to me?"

a shake of the head.
