Welcome to December's contest!

For our first contest, hamiltonss will be hosting, as I am the founder and feel as though I should be the one laying the rules down and setting an example. All entries will be read and scored by me on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest score you can receive).

For this month's competition, the theme is SNOW.

Since December is the time of holidays and snow, channel all of your holiday cheer into a oneshot! We're not going to suggest you write about one specific holiday, because December includes Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, and even New Years (technically)! Just write about what you feel has the biggest snowy vibe to it; whether you take it back to Thanksgiving or simply plop your Divergent characters in a cute December evening, surrounded by snow and family cheer. This theme is a bit loose, I know, but we thought that if you started off with an easy theme (that most people love) we would get more participants and it would help us learn the most for next time :-)

It should be about 750-2000 words (you may go higher if you'd like, of course!), and I will be checking to make sure this applies via copying and pasting your writing into a google doc or something to check (or just eyeballing it if that doesn't work out) I will score* you on your:

- Grammar
- Language Usage
- Application to the theme (does it fit?)
- Creativity/Originality (have I read something like this before?)
-  How much I like it overall (is it interesting, do I thoroughly enjoy reading it, would I reread, etc)

You'll be scored on a scale of 1-10 on each category, and I will then compare to find the top three I like the most.

The top three winners will each win prizes, such as stickers, votes and comments, shoutouts, covers, and being added to reading lists! More prizes will be presented as the admins discuss, and via your guys' suggestions :)

This competition will end on December 30th, and January's contest will start sometime between the 1st and the 3rd.
