Flying High: Silvefell

A/N: I actually wasn't sure how to write this... so they won't be talking, just playing and stuff.

Silveny dipped and weaved around her mate, her mane flying behind her with the force of the breeze

Greyfell twisted, his eyes gleaming with mischief as he used his large, blue-tipped wings to poke her in the side gently.

The clouds poofed around them, dampening Silveny's fur with water droplets as they burst through them for a split second before diving back down. They spiraled farther and farther to the ground, zooming down as fast as lightning.

Silveny thought wistfully of Sophie for a second; it had been a while since she'd last visited. Maybe they would go sometime soon.

They reached the ground, curving at the last second before their bodies hit the ground. Silveny relished the wind moving through her wings, ruffling her feathers and brushing back her fur.

There was nothing quite like that feeling... the feeling of freedom and soaring through the air until her flanks were heaving and her legs were practically collapsing under her. Especially with Greyfell at her side.

The alicorn in question glanced over at her, as if in question. Communicating telepathically was an ability all alicorns shared, but she and Greyfell hardly ever had to use it anymore. Only when teleporting did they use the ability, and that was only so they knew where to go.

Apparently, Sophie had to stretch out her mind to make contact, but when Silveny communicated with Sophie or Greyfell, her mind popped right into their heads.

Maybe it was different for other alicorns.

Maybe her parents-

Silveny shoved the thought from her mind, performing a flip in the air. The jump in her stomach sent bubbles racing down her legs, and she shook herself happily, any sad thoughts wiped from her mind.

Greyfell nudged her, and they soared down to their current home, a grassy meadow. Lying down on the ground next to her, Greyfell wrapped a blue-tipped wing around her, and she leaned into him with a sigh.

Sure, she missed Sophie, and Keefe.

But Greyfell was all she needed for now.
