Part two.

"Is it alright if I join ya on your trip to the market?" Oceanus asked, looking a bit excited for some reason.
Atlantis tilted his head a crack, but he didn't mind the other deepwing to accompany him.

"Sure" he replied, letting a small smile creep onto his snout. Atlantis though it would be a bit enjoyable to let Oceanus join him to the market.

And so there they were, swimming to the market. Though, the swordfish were still a bit awkward to carry on the whole way. And the swordfish were getting less and less fresh the longer they were dead. Good thing the water around them was cold enough to slow down that effect.

Atlantis mostly took the lead, with Oceanus tagging behind, yet not too far behind.
"Hm.. This is taking a while.. Atlantis, do you want to have a race??" Oceanus suddenly asked from out of the blue, glancing up at Atlantis hopefully.

The dark blue deepwing didn't see why not.
"Sure. But I won't lose" Atlantis said playfully, shrugging.

Oceanus brightened up, and smiled showing her teeth.
"Yeaahh!! Ok, ready, set, andddd"
Atlantis was already getting into racing position.
"Goooo!!!"

The two deepwings were racing across the ocean, their tail fins swishing along the cold salty water.
Both of them were having loads of fun, racing as fast as they could go.
Atlantis was in the lead, and Oceanus was right on his tail.

Soon enough, the deepwings got to the market, and Atlantis won. Oceanus was panting in exhaustion, looking as if she would fall over and float down to the ground.
"That.." Oceanus said.
She said it in such a tone that Atlantis thought he had upset her.

"-Was great!! No wonder why you're a hunter! You're perfectly cut out for it, with how fast you are!" Oceanus exclaimed, spinning around despite her exhaustion.

Atlantis blinked in slight surprise, but just smiled bashfully.
"I guess so" He replied.

He looked around the market.
"Guess we're here. The stall is over here"
Atlantis said, already leading the way to the stall with the dark purple dragon running it.

After delivering the fish, Atlantis finally got the payment to buy slates for himself. Of course, Oceanus was still here though, so she was following him while he went to buy slates.
Suddenly, he had thought of a question to ask.

"Oceanus.. Do you have a parent?" He asked, giving the coins to the slate seller.

Oceanus shrugged. "Yeah. Her name is Marina. She's always so overprotective.. UGHH.. The only times I could do whatever I want is when I sneak away."

Atlantis took the slates from the slate seller.

"Marina.."
That name sounded so familiar, yet Atlantis couldn't put his talon on it.. Hmmm...
Wait..
WAIT.

"Marina?! As in THE Leader Marina?" Atlantis asked, surprised.

Oceanus blinked. "Yeaahhhh??"

'OK. that was a BIT of an overreaction.."

"Oh, sorry for me acting like that, but I find it crazy that you are the daughter of the leader" Atlantis replied, a bit embarrassed.

"Yeah, it is a strange thing.. But do you really not see the family resemblance?" Oceanus teased, grinning.

Atlantis shrugged, and chuckled.
