Alpha Jonas, Enforcer/Alpha Frank, Gamma Russel, Seer Randolph, and Eddie were downstairs in the main packhouse drinking coffee at about 6:30a. Jonas said, "Frank, today I am going to bring your brother a special toga to wear.  It is part of the special shifting day in our pack. Usually, it is the parents/guardians of the pups. I am asking you to allow me to introduce you and your brother to our pack tradition."

Frank replied, "I know they are showing signs of their wolf, especially Faye, but Lycans are not like wolves. When our wolves awake, it is between the ages of sixteen and eighteen. There is no guarantee it will happen today."

Randolph, Jonas, and Russell started laughing. Randolph replied, "You have never had me on your side. At 8:58pm tonight, Finn will start his shift, and Faye will start at 9:04pm tonight."

Frank exclaimed, "That is the time they were born."

Randolph smirked, "I know, and at 10:48, at the height of the full moon, the shift will end.

Frank looked startled. " They are lycans, and our first shifting takes hours."

Randolph replied, "They are powerful wolves. They will be almost as strong as you. The three of you will be needed to overcome future challenges for packs and tribes. They must start training, but their pack love will help them overcome."

Vicky came in holding two gift bags at about 7:15am. "This one is for Finn. I am going up to Faye's room now. She has already called for her morning hot cocoa."

"If you need any help, let me know."

She rolled her eyes. "I will call the girls. We will see you later." She got up and went, and some of the men got up and scattered about, going to various places.

Frank and Jonas finish their coffee before walking to Quincy Dorm to see Finn, but he stops at his office to exchange the item in the bag that Vicky gave him. On their way there, Jonas feels Vicky get mad. He quickly links her and looks at Frank: "Bellatrix tried to show dominance in human form, and Zenia put her in her place.

If you need to take care of that."

"She said it is taken care of. And now it's time for us to take care of our male counterpart."

"Male counterpart? Have I met Zenia and Bellatrix? I am not placing a face with those names."

"Vicky's wolf is Zenia. Bellatrix is Faye's wolf."

"SHE SHIFTED????" he starts to try to walk faster.

"No, she did not shift, and neither did Vicky. They both stayed in human form. She just tried to assert a little dominance, and Zenia made her submit. Faye is back in control. Now, let's go make sure Finn isn't doing the same. Sometimes, twins can feel the other, even if fraternal, and react the same way.

When they got to the fourth floor they saw Michelle, Jenny, Jules, Lily and Maureen heading into Faye's room. Maureen sniffed the air and turned toward Frank. He looked concerned and she smiled at him. She slid the door open and saw Faye with her head on Vicky's stomach and Vicky.had her arms on Faye. Both were fast asleep.

Sondra came up behind the Alphas, "excuse me, Luna V asked me to bring up some tea and croissants to snack on until breakfast." She walked past them into Faye's room. She said to the ladies in a whisper, "this to be a morning snack. In about one and half hours we will have a full buffet breakfast to serve out on the floor balcony. She glanced at Alpha Jonas, "do you plan to join them with the men?"

"Yes, we will join them. Can you make sure that the gamma, seer and organizer join us."

"Yes sir." They walked across the hall to Finn's room and knocked on his door as the ladies closed Faye's door."

Faye woke up smiling at 7:20am . She got up and went to the shower. While showering she heard a knock on my door. Then she heard a click. She sniffed and realized it was Luna Vicky and called out, "good morning Lady V."

"Good morning and happy birthday," she replied.

When she was done shampooing, washing and shaving she turned off the shower and climbed out. She wrapped the towel around my hair and another around my body. She walked out and saw Luna V sitting in the chair looking out the window and a large birthday bag. "Please wear this ceremonial toga today."

Faye opened the bag and pull it out. It was a pastel pink toga with scarf sleeves that had gold bracelets at the wrist she went into the closet and put the outfit on. She walked out, "Luna V? Why did you ask me to put this on?"

"You are turning sixteen and coming of age to shift. Seer Randolph has seen your shift. Plus you are now of age to officially mate. Even though you found your mate you have to shift for the full effect. It is my job as Luna to guide girls who do not have a female to assist them. Plus answer any questions that might have."

"If your talking birds and bees that was explained to us by a Lycan elder when we were all ten. Plus Ms. Char helped me when I had my first period."

She laughed, "we can discuss that too, but I was talking about your shift."

"I have seen a couple first time shifts to wolves and Lycan. We were there when Frank did his first shift. He told me the first shift hurts like a son of a bitch. We were almost six when he did his wolf shift."

"You were so young to see that. Most pups in our pack don't see the first pack shift until age 12."

"Uncle or no tribe member was with him. We overheard members talking that Uncle commanded everyone to stay away from the meadow and let him do it alone."

"Going through the first shift alone can cause a wolf to go insane because of the pain."

"That is what some Lycan omegas were talking about. They were talking how they wanted to be there for Frank because he often took beatings for them. So Finn and I snuck out of the house. We ran to the meadow. We snuggled next to him as he shifted. We did not want him to go bad and be killed.

"Snuggling a first time shift can also be dangerous."

"We heard about that later, but as his bone broke and realigned we had our arms wrapped around him and kept saying that we loved him. That he isn't alone. Once he shifted he was huge and pure black like most alphas were, but he was bigger than any other alphas we have met. He howled loudly. He started to run around the meadow." Faye smiled at that memory.

Then all the sudden she looked sad, "Uncle came when he heard him howl, and we laid down in the meadow out of sight. We knew we were not supposed to be there. Uncle had a bunch of warriors with him expecting to have to put him down, but he was surprised Frank/Onyx hadn't gone mad. He never even noticed we were there, but a few warriors did. They made a line to make sure they blocked us from his view."

"What happened next?"

"Our uncle stormed back to the tribe house. Some warriors followed him and others stayed behind to do a tribe run as is custom. One solder went to pick us up to put us on a warrior's back, but Onyx would not let them. We rode on Onyx back and had a grand time. After that anytime Uncle wanted to give punishment to first time shifters he would do that punishment but Frank made sure to send them to a warrior friend of his who lived on packlands that bordered the tribe."

"With you being here I hope no one shifts while here alone. Your uncle sounds like a major asshole."

"He is. That is one of the secrets that the tribe knows. The warriors who protected us that day will link the pup where to go. It was one of those warriors who moved to packland and he cleared a piece of land and made a shifting shrine according to Frank."

"Your uncle doesn't know about that?"

"No, because uncle does not ever patrol our lands. He claims that is what warriors are for. Frank has us stay away from that area since uncle watches us closely."

"Your uncle does not sound like a wise leader. But let us get back to you. Now I noticed you have on a bra and panties. You will need to go remove them. I will help you put the outfit back on. There is a way you can wear it so the girls are supported and your bottom also is kept cover."

Faye took off the yoga and Vicky helped adjust it. She asked, "why do you want me to wear a toga?"

"When you shift you don't have to stand naked in front of the pack. Out pack ancestors realized first time shifters felt uncomfortable so designed something that could expand during a shift. Once shifted it falls off you like a blanket. As they grow use to nakedness as we shift back and forth they stop wearing the toga.

"How do clothes not rip apart?"

"The bracelets are enchanted. We will remove the bracelets after you grow use to nakedness. Then you will still have the dress as a memory and the pack stores the enchanted bracelets for future generations.. Some families pass the dresses down to the first born child. My mate is with your brother doing the same thing. Except his is in yellow."

"In a little bit your brothers will follow my mate to pick up your alpha. But before I message him to come this way I would like to answer any questions you might have."

"My brothers are against the idea of me mating. I already know who my mate is because of him accidentally announcing it as you know, but I could feel like a static electric spark. Is that all I will feel? When I would hear people talk it was more like a lightning strike they said."

"Your wolf is definitely waking up because I have never heard of anyone feeling any sort of spark before the wolf has totally come out. I will have to find out if that is something Lycan can do. I have a feeling once your wolf is totally out you will discover the lightning as you said."

Her eyes clouded over. "Eddie has asked if I could share his history. He is embarrassed about not be the strong defender and is scared you will want to reject him for being the nerdy bookworm."

Faye growled at that.

"Those are his words not mine. I love Eddie."

Faye growled again.

"Stop growling at me. He actually is my cousin and I use to be his defender to school mates. Matter of fact I defended once against my own mate. Back when my mate was stupid and thought he could get my cousin to do his homework. I was not part of this pack then. I came over during my three week summer break to visit my aunt and uncle. I discovered my cousin doing homework for someone named Jonas T. I was furious and followed Eddie when he went to give it to him. I saw Jonas pay him $20 and he gave Jonas the homework. Then Eddie left. I went out and snatched it from Jonas. I then ripped it up and exploded on him. I did not realize he was the son of the alpha. We got into a huge yelling match. His father, Alpha Eugene arrived. He figured out what we were fighting about. Alpha Eugene brought in Eddie." She stopped and gave a large smirk on her face then.

"What did you do? I know that smirk."

"I will get to that. I discovered that Eddie was doing several pack members homework, but if he refused they would beat him up. That is the day his father declared I had Luna tendencies and a special talent. I grabbed my cousin's arm. I pulled up his shirt and discovered the bruising. I tapped into my cousin's memories and saw who all had been beating him up. With me being tapped into him I was actually showing the whole pack what I was seeing. I roared a Luna command for every one of his abusers including Jonas, though Jonas did not hit him, to meet me at the training field. I then fought and won against every single one of them until Jonas. Jonas submitted and refused to fight me. I then made every single one of them report to the library and made them redo every assignment they had my cousin do. Though found out later they had to retake those classes because they got a zero for cheating. Eddie was embarrassed I faught his battle for him.

It was Alpha Eugene who had his and the beta's personal assistants/organizer take him under their wing. It was then Eddie blossomed to one of the strongest organizers even known. He actually is able to do Jonas, Michelle, Russel and even mine. Though he never did mine until about half way through this pregnancy. Every single one of his abusers now would do anything for him out of respect."

Faye growls. "Who are they? I will show them what it means to mess with my mate."

Vicky gasp, "your eyes Faye. They are gold."

"I am not Faye, my name is Bellatrix.who dared to hurt my mate," she growled?

Vicky let her wolf take over, "my name is Zenia. You do not talk to us in that tone. I took care of them back then. None of them are like that now and I watch out very closely that no one acts like that now to him or anyone in the pack. Now submit and calm down. Give control back to Faye."

Bellatrix fought the pull to submit at first until Zenia growled a deep growl. She then bowed her head, "I am sorry Luna Victoria and Luna Zenia." She then relinquish control back to Faye.

Faye looked at Zenia with her silver eyes, "I am also sorry." Then burst into tears. Zenia then let Vicky take over and wrapped her arms around Faye.

When Faye calmed down, Vicky had her lay down. She put a cold compress over her eyes. She fell asleep exhausted from what had happened. She then linked Michelle, Jenny, Jules, Lily, Maureen and Tonya, "Come to Faye's room. Her wolf just appeared in human form and she cried herself to sleep. She needs female friends for support."

"On our way."

She then linked her mate, "go ahead for breakfast. Faye's wolf broke through in human form and Faye is now sleeping. Arrange for them to bring up food for all of us ladies. Set it up on the floor's balcony in about two hours. Then have them bring just some tea and danishes to us now to snack on while Faye sleeps."

Then she closed her link. She laid down beside Faye and fell asleep.

After they saw the girls head into Faye's room and close the door they started knocking and linking Finn. After the third time of linking he threw open the doot. He then turned around and stomped to the bed in anger, "it is my flipping birthday. Can't a person get their sleep," he growled at them. "It is the day you always let me sleep in, but no you can't let me do that today you jackasses." He laid down and covered up and put a pillow over his head."

Frank growled, "I don't care if your getting your wolf you don't talk to Alpha Jonas and I that way."

Alpha Jonas growled at the disrespect. He grabbed a hold of the blankets and jerked them off. He snapped him up and threw him over his shoulder and marched out of the room. He marched down the hall toward the balcony exit. Frank was following him and watched in horror as he saw the alpha storm across the large balcony filled with several tables. He tossed Finn over the balcony. Frank ran to the edge and looked over in time to see him land in the swimming pool. Jonas then in a commanding voice, "ONCE YOU'RE AWAKE AND COOLED OFF GET YOUR ASS BACK UP HERE."

He turned and took about five steps and looked at Frank, "Oh my goddess. I am just like my father. My father did that to me when I was nineteen for doing exactly what Finn did." He started laughing. Soon Frank joined in with his laughter. They both walked back to wait for Finn.

"You know if you had missed that pool you would of been dealing with one very uncontrollable Lycan."

He grinned and replied, "but I didn't."

"If I get my pack back I have decided I would like us to form an Ally alliance."

"You will get it back. I would be honored to your Ally. I have already formulated an accelerated curriculum for you and it won't take long to get you trained.

Just then Finn stormed into the room and glared at then, "I hate you both," he growled.

Frank replied, "Finn you better get control of your wolf."

Finn glared, "but that was me not my wolf. I haven't heard my wolf yet"

Jonas replied, "go shower and change into this." Handing him the gift.

He looked in the bag and pulled out the toga. "A blue dress? You gotta be kidding me."

"It actually is a ceremonial robe for the first time shifters. Our pack has worn ones like this for a long time. A very brave warrior use to have this one. He passed before he had any pups. My mate had gotten you a new one, but on our way over here I stopped by my office to grab this one. It was my brothers. He died a week after he shifted protecting three friend of mine and myself. You should consider it an honor I felt you were worthy to wear and now own it.

Finn face went sad and his head dropped down. He then raised his eyes and looked Jonas in the eyes. "Alpha Jonas, I am sorry." He then looked over at his brother, "I am sorry Frank." He then broke into tears, "it is not fair. I don't want you guys to think I am ungrateful. It just I wish my parents could be here today. I just feel angry that I do not have any memories. I hate Uncle for stealing any memories."

Frank replied, "it was an accident and not Uncle's fault."

"You're wrong. The accident was his fault."

"Uncle showed me the report and the newspaper article. It was a drunk driver and Uncle killed the driver."

"He lied. The person he killed was the guy who tampered with the brakes. Then set it up to look like he was drunk."

"Where did you get that story."

"I heard him and the beta talking about it when I was going to ask him to sign a school field trip form when you had been sent to Alaska to help that pack. I later snuck in and took pictures of the actual report. That is when we started going with you ever time you went somewhere on your future missions. I made sure to check your car and repair anything that I found wrong."

"You have known this information for a three years and never said anything."

"I have found no proof it was Uncle who paid the mechanic. The mechanic was killed the day after he did repairs to our parents' vehicle and the news claimed he died from hitting mom and dad's car while intoxicated."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

I went to Warrior Sanderson and he said he would investigate it. Then he disappeared. I did not want you to disappear like he did. So I kept quiet and now I am blubbering like a baby the day I am supposed to get my wolf."

Frank said, "Warrior Sanderson is ok. He is the lonewolf whom I sent those eight warriors to for extra training."

Finn sniffed, "really? When he left with no goodbyes or saying anything I thought Uncle found him out and killed him like the mechanic."

Frank shook his head yes and replied, "yes, really. He left and just told me he was looking for something, so he was retiring immediately and moving away where he could help others without uncle interference."

Alpha Jonas said, "hey, there is two things I want to say. The first is never keep information like that to yourself. It was good you told Sanderson, but when he disappeared you should of told someone else. I understand why you did not tell your brother. Now if you find something else out contact me. I will guide and help you. Though I will also suggest you talk to Frank, but I will not force you too,"

Finn looked back at him, "you promise you won't tell him until I am ready too?"

"Yes, I promise, but I will encourage you too. If need be wherever you are then I will go to you and be there."

Frank and Finn at the same time said, "thank you."

"The second thing I have to say even I have cried after getting my wolf. There is nothing wrong with tears whether it be happy or sad. When I almost lost my Luna I broke down in tears begging for forgiveness. I praise the Goddess every day for her giving me a chance to be a better person and help others be better. That is why I started this school. Now go get a shower and afterwards send me the proof you have. I know who can help us."

Finn grabbed his phone off the nightstand. "Will whoever it is be safe."

Jonas replied, "yes. He actually is my cousin and he is part of the council. He was already investigating them."

Frank looked surprise, "he was?"

Finn tapped on his phone and said, "I just sent it to you and Frank." He set the phone down and went to take a shower. [DING DING went their phones.)

Frank replied, "it has been 15 years since their death. A couple more days won't make a difference. Let us make this day about them. I just can't believe he kept quiet three years about this."l

Jonas was already looking. He tapped his phone and hit send. "I just sent everything to my investigator who is already observing your uncle.

When Finn came out wearing the toga he heard Jonas say, "By the way your siblings officially arrive here tomorrow and start school when the new semester starts on October 28. I have gotten from Jenny their schedule...."

Fin said, "what classes?"

Jonas pulls a note from his pocket. "It will be
05:30. Training ground first year wolf
08:00. Shower
08:30. Breakfast
09:15 Room 314 English
10:00. Room 208 Algebra
10:45. Room 310 Supernatural History 3
11:30. Room 210 Life Skills 3 (cooking, sewing, cleaning, basic repair)

1:45 to 3:15 (2 hours)

"Can I choose none? I am not an artsy person."

"You can talk to Mrs Suite tomorrow when you meet her at the library."

"Ok. What other classes?"

3:15 is break
5:00 training ground sparing
6:30 shower
7:00 Dinner

"Wow we will have a long day."

"Starting tomorrow you will do training at 5:30 am followed by shower and meal. Then will head to the school library. Mrs Suite and a couple other teachers will be reviewing what the tribe riders been teaching you."

"No need to do that. We been doing it wrong for them. Then Faye and I went back once in our room doing it the right way. We were advance and Ms. Char had taught us before those bumbling bamboons."

Frank laughed.

Jonas said, "they will still evaluate and will check your placement. Your evaluation could change your classroom schedule."

Frank looked at his alarm, "it's time to join the ladies and the other men on the balcony." They headed in the hallway.

As they entered the hallway they saw the ladies. Jonas walked over to his mate and picked her up. "Nope, your not going to walk."

"You know walking is good for me."

"Indulge me." She sighed and laid her head on his shoulder. He looked over at Faye, "you look lovely in your toga."

"Thank you."

They walked over and Finn opened the door as hey joined the other men on the balcony. They all sat at the various tables on the balcony. Alpha Jonah set his mate in the chair next to him. He continued standing. Once everyone sat down he looked around. He picked up the glass of juice sitting on the table, "As alpha my mate and I take great pride inviting the birthday wolves to breakfast and we are glad to see our new friends join us this year. Happy Birthday and tonight after your shift I relinquish my spot as alpha and invite you to lead our pack on the birthday shift run. Do you accept?"

They looked at each other, Finn replied, on behalf of my sister and I we accept. Thank you."

"Everyone raise your cups to toast the birthday pups."

"The pups." They all reply and they all take a sip."

"I have one more announcement and it will be the last bit of bad news I hope to share today. Your uncle did call and was furious about him not being informed of this full scholarship before it happened.. But I took care of it last night because I text my cousin. He called and I joined him on the call using a merge. My cousin who is also on the council congratulated him on raise such a strong neice and nephew. He changed his tone then."

He smiled at Faye and Finn, "your table may now go serve yourself. In honor of their birthday the alpha's table serves last. Please let's get started."

He then sat down and whispered to Vicky, "I am surprised to see our Beta sitting with Finn, Faye and Edmond."

Vicky looked over and saw a sparkle in Michelle's eyes. "Do you think she is Finn's mate?"

Frank looked over, "if so my brother is completely oblivious. How much older is she than him."

"She is 26 years."

"She might be a little too old for him"

Maureen look at her mate, "yet Edmond is also older and nothing wrong with him being mates with Faye?"

"I never met a couple where the she-wolf is older."

Vicky looked at Frank, "well you have now. Nothing wrong with that. Just be happy true mates found each other."

"I know I just am not sure what to think of it. They both found mates at 16 and I had to wait until 29. Just seems odd because I am considered young to find my mate. At least their mates are honorable people."

Maureen replied, "just be thankful they are honorable."

"If anyone should be upset it should be me. I will most likely lose both an organizer and Beta when you leave and take on your uncle. But I can't be upset because I am happy they found their mates."

Vicky looked at her mate, "you can worry about that another day." She looked at Frank, "after breakfast we will head to the recreation room. This will give them a chance to meet all the high school pups. There are a total of forty-eight. Sixteen of them have already shifted. They can enjoy the day there until 5:00. We then shift to an outdoor pack BBQ/bonfire. When it hits 8:00pm the elders and pregnant ones take the pups 11 years and younger to the pack safe room to sleep for the night. Some parents will assist getting their pups asleep and then head back out to watch the shift and join the pack run led by Finn and Faye."

Frank looked amazed, "you make the whole day about their birthday."

Jonas replied, "in the wolf world they only come of age once so we make it a PUPTASTIK CELEBRATION.

At 8:00 the elders, seniors, pregnant and parents started rounding up the younger wolves and heading them into the pack house and putting them to bed in the safe room. A few of the senior retired warriors stood by to watch the bonfire.

At 8:45pm, Jonas stood up and jumped on a boulder that was round like the full moon with a howling wolf painted on it. "Two hundred and ninety seven years ago our ancestors came here from the old country on a ship. They brought this boulder with them. My grandmother on the trip painted this silhouette of her father. They arrived here about seventy years before any other settlers came. This boulder was physically carried here to this location by many of our ancestors. We have used this location ever since for pack ceremonies and tonight we continue this tradition. Will Finn and Faye from the RAGING VATIC PACKS please step forward. Tonight we celebrate these two Lycan shifting."

Finn and Faye came forward, "Alpha Jonas? Why did they bring this boulder with them from the old country?"

"The pack had moved to the summer valley and when they returned, the year round pack had been burned to the ground. All that was left was this boulder. The elders knew the hunters were active and had prepared a ship. They did not head back to the summer valley. They figured the hunters would try to ambush them. They headed to the ships. The alpha daughter insisted they bring this boulder and the alpha let her."

Just then Finn did his first bone pop. Frank looked at the time on his phone and it read 8:58pm. Faye started popping at 9:04pm. Frank sat right between them touching them, "you're doing great. I love you. A few times he grimaced when a claw would break the skin.

The rest of the Raging Vatic formed a semi circle in front of them encouraging them too. Plus the students they met earlier were behind surrounding them sending encouragement. You had warriors and the rest of the Symposium Pack there. Many were amazed when they saw a pure white wolf with a silver blue on the tips of ears, tail and paws. Then saw a black wolf stand up with red tips of ears, tail and paws. When their noses touches each other a purplish glow formed and it shot into Frank, Maureen, Michelle and Edmond. They floated up in the air. They shifted into their wolves. Soon Onyx had tip color of yellow form; Kylie had Grey and black blend with green tips; Betsy had a calico wolf with purple tips; Gene had a grey wolf with orange tips. Everyone once again was shocked again. When they floated down. They were paired up: Onyx and Betsy; Thingulf and Kylie; plus Bellatrix and Gene.

Alpha Jonas stood up and in shock as he looked at Randolph, "Did you know?"

He shook his head, "I only saw them as strong wolves, but never as elemental wolves. Your Uncle wont have a chance. It has been over 100 years since the last elemental evolves.
