On Monday we were up at 6:00 am and we went to a trailhead where one of the patrols were. Frank looked at the person who appeared to be in charge. "Yesterday, Gamma Russell Suite, told us about this trail we could run. This way our wolves can have a chance to get out. He mentioned following the purple marked trail."

The leader's eyes clouded over. We knew he was linking someone. When they unclouded he looked at Frank, "Alpha, Luna, Alpha, Beta," we all looked at him surprised. His eyes widened, "I am sorry. Did I address you all wrong?"

"Why did you address us as such? Our pack and tribes have not acknowledge our ranks yet.

"I have been trained to detect auras." He pointed to Frank, "even as a Lycan we can feel your aura, but it seems to be suppressed. Which is why you came here to learn how to fulfill your destiny."

He then pointed to Maureen, "even though you have not yet marked her we can feel your bond with each other. She is giving off the start of a Luna aura. She is here to train to be a luna."

He points to Jules, "she gives off a mix aura. I would say she started off as a gamma, but her wolf is getting stronger. She is showing streaks of an alpha aura. She too shows suppression. This is odd to have so many show up in that condition."

He points to Lily, "she is a beta, but it too has been suppressed. Whomever has done this has used a witch to keep you all from full power."

He then points to Tanya, "she has a strong wolf. Your wolf does not show a rank though. Could be she has been forced to be a warrior, but she doesn't give it her all. She can fight, but dislike fighting. She won't find her true strength unless given free reign. Which we can give her training for here. She hasn't been suppressed by witchcraft but by being forced to do a job she doesn't love. She seems an organizer."

He points to Finn and Faye, "those two are coming of age. I feel their wolves wanting to break free. No witchcraft has been done of them, but they have been abused. I can tell you here you are safe. Your wolves know they can be free to show themselves. That is why they haven't shown themselves yet. They were protecting you."

Finn and Faye gasp. "We turn sixteen on October 15."

"With you being Lycan it would be a young shift, but can happen. Especially given your alpha lineage. Your kind can shift between 16-18, but normally 18 into your wolf form and 25 into Lycan form. However the 15th is when the next HUNTER'S MOON is. Wolves who come out during that moon are one of the strongest Warriors. Though your wolves would have shown earlier if not for whatever danger they perceived."

Finn said, "if we had our wolf come out before age of sixteen it would have meant our death."

"What a cruel custom. Your kind would have lost strong wolves. Your aura is almost as strong as these two alphas. I swear when you shift you will also be alphas, but unsure why since your brother is the alpha. Usually second and third pups have alpha gene, but not alpha strengths. You all are an interesting group that I have never seen before."

Jules took a step forward, "who are you? You are not a patrol lead, but you are some sort of leader."

He smiles, "I told Alpha Thompson I would not be able to fool you. I am a seer. My grandfather knew your grandmother. You got seer intuition, but not the full sight, but you're not 25 yet. When you are 25 you could get full sight."

Jules growled, "so he sent you to spy on us and read us before we could put up blocks."

"You came here with just a couple days warning. You had no invitation."

Lily interrupted, "Well Frank had no invitation, but one maybe two since he asked me to pass it on."

He looked sad, "i know who Julianna is. I have seen her in my sight. I did not want to be rude and point out her rejection. I know she is hiding so I did not point it out her. She is still hurting and undecided about alpha training. However, that still doesn't explain her suppression of power. That is what Alpha Thomason was picking up on. Which is why he issued the invitation to you and your beta."

He looked around the group, "Now is the time to go. Which is why the Alpha wanted me to have you go to the purple trail. When you see the gray trail marker the beta will meet you and will bring you to the training grounds. What you see at the training ground will help you decide yes or no to taking on the alpha role. Before you ask, I do not know what it is because my vision did not tell me that. It does become cloudy and murky there."

He points to a couple blinds and hands us each a bag, "you can go behind there to shift. Place your clothes in your bag. We have a cart for the pups. You can all throw your bags in the cart. Alpha Frank, you can pull the cart with your siblings." He then turns and starts to walk away with the patrol members. "By the way, the full moon is in a few days. I will arrange a coming of age celebration for them."

Lily looked at me, "I didn't know you had seer and alpha blood in your family line."

Jules replied, "I knew about one of my great great grandma being an alpha daughter but I never knew about any seer family member. But until recently I did not know about Tanya and my parents' mate swapping.

Ziena replied, "I knew, but was told I could not tell you unless you came into those powers."

Jules replied, "how did you know and not me?"

"Grandma Penelope's wolf told me just before she passed away. She swore me to secrecy unless you showed signs."

I looked over to Lily, "let me rephrase that. My half did not know that, but my other half claims Grandma Penelope told her before she passed away. I thought we shared everything. Ziena says she was sworn to secrecy unless I showed signs."

Lily says, "grandma P passed away before we got our wolves."

Crystal replies to Lily and shares with everyone in our group (even the Lycan), "we are with you since birth, and only on rare occasions do we show ourselves before your sixteenth birthday. When you sleep that is when our ancestors teach us. We cannot share what we learn or shift unless the Moon Goddess grants us too. Now it is time to run or we will be late meeting Beta."

We went behind the blinds and changed into our wolves. When I came from behind the blind, I saw a large blue black wolf which I could tell was Franklin; Betsy, calico colored wolf; Sheila, her silver color wolf; Crystal, a white wolf with black paws, ears and tip of tail; and I knew I stood there there with my golden color coat. I saw Franklin step up to the cart handle and slid his neck into the cart. When he was in place I took off running leading the RV Pack in this run. Ziena linked everyone, "we somehow have formed a pack when we shifted. We are the RV pack, and yet you guys are still part of Grimloch Tribe and Stinger Pack."

Crystal replied, "Is this why he referred to me as Beta. I do feel stronger than before."

Frank replied, "we have all bonded the last couple days. I am Onyx. Even though I am physically stronger than Ziena I do not feel threatened or a need to prove wemyself to her. I feel a need to protect you. I am your enforcer."

Betsy adds, "I feel the pull to protect the pack, but a stronger pull to protect my mate. I feel the need to mother you all. Especially my new siblings.

Sheila replies, "I now know what I am. I am the organizer and historian."

Frank replies, "that explains why you hated being a warrior. Historian like to keep records of history and not be part of creating it. That is why you feel no rank but are strong."

Finn said, "this is so weird. I have only been able to link with Faye and Frank, but I can hear you all talking. I could not everyone link with Uncle."

Frank replied, "be lucky you could not."

Faye laughed, "this is so cool. I wonder if it is because our wolves are close. Though she hasn't talked to me yet."

Ziena says, "I, Alpha Ziena of the RV Pack hereby promise to do my best to protect and lead you with honor to the best of my ability. Do you all accept me as your alpha?

Everyone replies, "yes we do. Do you accept our promise to protect you and our pack?"

"I do." We continued running and felt our bond growing stronger.  I could feel all of us growing stronger. We all started adding a pack scent of falling rain." It was as if the rain smell was washing away the hurt from the past."

A couple minutes later, "Frank, with you being older and more educated do you have any idea how we all bonded? Normally it takes a blood exchange for such bonds to create."

"I honestly have no idea. Yet, this bond feels stronger than my tribe bond." He sniffs the air, "about a mile from us are four scents. They have the Symposium Pack scent. Should I sneak up to them since seer only mentioned one? Are they wanting to ambush us?"

Ziena replies, "no, if you make them pass out and it is the Beta it could lead us to be attack. Faye and Finn when we get closer use your senses and call out where each one is hidden. Frank you can tell them anyone you miss. I can since they are now trying to hide their scents. Plus more our joining them. I think we are about to have our first test."

Faye calls out as we get closer, "I CAN SCENT YOU. YOU'RE TRYING TO PLAY HIDE AND SEEK. WHEN MY BROTHER AND I SCENT AND POINT YOU OUT YOU WILL STAND. WE WILL SEE HOW MANY WE WILL FIND." She repeats this a couple of times. We slowed down to a slow walking pace to give them time to call out who they scented.

Finn shouts out, "I smell a wolf behind that tree," and he points to a tree." They find forty-six wolves before the get to the forty-seventh one which is the Beta. He comes out in his human form laughing. "Whoever taught you how to scent without even having a wolf did a fantastic job. Congratulations."

Faye blushes, "we only called out the ones behind trees. We linked to our brother, Frank, the ones in the trees. We were afraid if we called them out they would fall."

Finn added, "you also had a few below ground, but Frank had to point the first two out. Plus instructed us how to scent them. There were seven more of them. That we found."

Faye adds, "oh our brother said we missed three but did good for first time of underground seeking,"  she says beaming.

"Alpha Jules wants to know where is the training grounds? The seer said we were going to the training ground. Or would you rather us just head back to our camp for breakfast and clean up before we meet the alpha?"

"Let me introduce myself, I am Beta Michelle Gemstone. I am going to shift into my wolf, Kylie. Follow us to training. We still have sparring matches to do before breakfast which is served at 8:30am." She goes behind a tree and shifts. Then comes out and is a grey and black blended wolf. She leads us to the training field. She goes behind a blind and comes back dressed.

"Would you all like to join in with sparring."

I link Faye and she ask Beta Michelle, "is it tap out ?"

"If it gets that far. We are broken down into pairs of six. Each pair has a mastery of at least one skill. When they come into the field they drop their names into a box of which mastery level they have." She walks us over to where their are six boxes.

3 Human- defence
4 Human offense
5 Tracking
6 Communication

Tanya ask through Finn "what is communication and training got to do with fight training?"

Beta Michelle grins, "let's say you are attacked what would you say?"

"I would most likely to concentrate on defense. I know I am not the strongest fighter. If I did not concentrate on defense I would be dead."

"If you keep quiet and are killed the pack would feel your link break. They would know a possibility of danger is near by, but no idea if a group attack, rouge, another pack or if you injured yourself? How many might be involved? Someone could say you went running on purple trail, but you could of immediately turn on yellow trail which circles toward the other side of our pack. We send people on purple and get the pack ambushed from behind. We teach people how to fight and at the same time communicate.

"That sound interesting."

Faye says, "wow interpreting your thoughts to Beta Michelle is difficulty. How do you do it when you get several packs here for training?"

"We do a class pledge. Once pledge you all can communicate while a student here."

"Frank just asked if we can do human training today for communication."

"No, the alpha said I could swear you all in as honorees guest that will work until you depart the area if you all agree."

Everyone looked at me. I nodded yes.

"Ok let us get started. RV PACK, if you agree to uphold the honor of the Symposium Pack while on these premises and to defend if necessary you will be given honorary guest access to mind link anyone here be a pack, student or other honorary guest. If you so promise give a howl and stomp your paws."

We all howled in wolf and the pups in human form and we all started stomping our paws/feet. All the warriors and beta on the training field responded. We all felt the bond snap in place.

Finn and Faye dropped to their knees putting their hands over their ears, "make it stop. The noise is too loud."

The Beta realized what was going on and quickly knelt beside them. "Look at me, focus on just my voice. Come on, just my voice. Tune out everyone else. Shut the door to everyone but my voice. Leave their voices outside." While he kept repeating words to those effect."

I focused on the warriors who did not realize what was going on, "I need you all to go silent. The young pups have never felt a group link. You're overwhelming them." No one responded.

All of a sudden Ziena commanded, "QUIET NOW." They all got quiet. They all went submissive and showed their necks. I was surprised at what I had done. I then said, "I am sorry about the command. I did not know I could do that. You mighty warriors were rejoicing our joining. We are grateful for that, but our Lycan Pups have never felt a pack link. It is overwhelming and hurting them. Shut your links to them. Your Beta since he opened it was the only one who could only share how to control it. I needed you all to shut down your thoughts." It got quiet and they all looked on in concern as the beta kept talking to them.

Just as the beta stopped talking and the pups stopped whimpering; Alpha Thompson came charging into the training field, "WHO IN THE HELL DID AN ALPHA COMMAND ON MY TERRITORY AND GOT THE WHOLE TERRITORY TO SUBMIT?"

I gulped and turned toward the angry alpha. Frank and Maureen who had by them were holding Finn and Faye giving comfort. They handed the twins to Lily and Tanya. They went to stand by me for support as my enforcers. "I accidentally did, sir."

He glared at me and then calmed down when he recognized me, "Julianna Adler? How could you since you're not an alpha..." his eyes went round. He then saw his Beta talking to the pups in Lily and Tanya's arms, "what the hell happened?"

Beta Michelle stood up, "Alpha, I did not realize these Lycan pups had only been exposed to open links. When I gave them honorary membership I had to help them start shutting doors because it was too much for them to handle at once."

He turned to Frank, "why in the hell was that done to these pups? Why were they not taught this as a younger pup? I thought Lycan started Family links as pups. Then moved to classmate links and gradually full pack."

Frank growled at Alpha Thompson's disdain toned, "my uncle is what happened. He closed down all links except for his when it came to pack. He just could not close down family links. We, however never let him know the twins and I could link. He never could link us. I could not link him until I was given my wolf. I wish it had stayed that I could never hear him. Now that I am approaching my coming of age to take over as alpha he is trying to stop that and give my birthright to his son who is only ten. Kristian is not even old enough to know what his father is doing. That is one reason why I came here. I figured your school could teach me how to keep that from happening legally without causing pack civil war. The second was this was where my mate was coming."

"I can teach you that, but still doesn't explain how Julianna was able to alpha command my pack like she did. I have a feeling there is a story behind that too? Why she no longer smell like a Stinger Pack member?"

I stood up straight, "There is a reason I no longer have that pack smell. I am not sure how I was able to declare my friends here as RV Pack. I am not sure how the Beta was able to call us the RV Pack since we formed on our way here after shifting on the purple trail. My wolf somehow did it but she has not answered why yet. Your seer has stated that at this training I will determine about my training or not."

I looks him directly in the eyes and he growled at her. "You are not suppose to look an Alpha in the eye."

I growled back, "and I am not supposed to be able to make an Alpha Lycan my enforcer yet I did. I am not suppose to form a pack yet I did. I am not suppose to be an alpha yet I did. I do not understand what is going on which is why I feel I need to stay and be trained. That will only happen if my whole pack is allowed to stay until we sort this out. I feel the Moon Goddess meant for us to cross paths, and I refuse to go against her wishes."
